I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a few months ago & told I will never be in remission or cancer free . Watching your videos makes me feel so alive, hopeful, filled with gratitude & determined to keep on going . Thank u 🙏🏻 . U bring so much joy to so many of us !!!
Don't give up on yourself. The doctors are only practicing medicine, remember that! Your positive attitude is what's going to save you. Have a little faith in you.
I feel for you, I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer with mutations without treatment in January. I fight tooth and nail every morning to get out of bed and go to war against cancer. My thoughts are with you and wish you and yours the best. Keep your head up. 🙏
I remember in the early days off this channel you apologising so much for not sailing, and then when you had problems with lightening strikes and the problems before the big ocean crossing. But look at you guys now. Believe me I enjoy every episode is what makes it all worth it. Well dome brilliant loved it.
Congratz guys on taking 'catamaran sailboat' to what I've always called our most beautiful epic place in NZ Dusky Sound Fiordland. 40 years ago I was there. Thank you Parlay for the great content❤
My heart was in my throat watching the start. Great outcome, you're a true professional Colin, with a good dose of fun thrown in. A joy to watch and learn.
Anchovy flavored duck is a hard no for me. Beautiful scenery makes me wish I traveled when I was able. Thank you for bringing us along with you. Stay safe.
Same thing happened to us in Thailand with another unmanned boat dragging anchor…Ted had board it, get the engines on to prevent it hitting lots. Nerve wracking so we really feel you there! So proud of you getting to the Fiords! Well done! 🙌🏼
What an exciting start to your day. You guys were paying attention. We all pray that Parley never suffers any damage that would stop your video's. Love, carry on
Thanks guys for the awesome adventure. You are doing your country proud Colin. We have had a trip to both islands and looking forward to doing all again soon.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I used to scuba dive but now have a rare lung condition that prohibits me from diving. I am living vicariously through you!
Thank you once again for sharing your beautiful country with us. It truly is stunning to see how remote and protected it is. The crayfish at the end made my mouth water, it looked delicious. As you were telling us about this area I noticed you seemed really emotional 0:12 by the beauty, and then when you said it was bringing you to tears I couldn’t help but cry. This is the perfect way to celebrate our July 1 Canada Day.
Another Great Time for Parlay Revival and what great video footage to share that yes your in great places in our world but Stuff happen when you least think it can. Happy all is well and thanks for taking us along
Hi Team Parlay, how beautiful is New Zealand absolutely pictures Thank you for taking new us with you on this journey , Cliff from Queensland Australia
On Dec 28, 2022, I got to cruise through Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds on Norwegian Cruise Line's first cruise ship back to Australia and New Zealand after Covid-19. I enjoyed the views from the front of NCL"s oldest and 2nd smallest ship, but I am glad we were not there when you were there, so we would not spoil your experience. We, too, had the views to ourselves.
Thanks for the film and story of your expedition to the South of The South Island. I had the pleasure of visiting Puysegur Point Lighthouse, Easter 1967, for a few weeks, whilst it was "Manned". My Uncle and family lived and worked on the light. I flew in from Invercargill, on a Gruman amphibian, single engine, on a mail flight, that I waited in Invercargill for about a month, to get a weather window for the flight and sea landing about 2-3 miles up the Fiord from the boat shed/ landing. I came backout on the annual supply boat (Warau,I think!!), after dropping supplies at Centre Island, in life boats to the beach. My "job" on station was to fill the larder. which was very easy catching crayfish, scallops. fishing, and shooting a deer or two on the track. This was a most memorable time in a Wild, and then also dead calm environment, second to none. I was amazed that you and your crew were awe stuck with this regions beauty and awesomeness!! Thanks for the memories and your great documentaries of Kiwi's exploring the world and our own gems. I look forward to you stories of Fiordland. Safe travels and fair breezes. RJT, Ayr, Qld, Oz. But still a proud Kiwi!
I am so amazed at how much the coast line of New Zealand is reminiscent of the Coast of the Pacific North West. Exchange great whites for orcas. Thanks for another great video. Happy and safe sailing Parlay Revival!
Would you mind please telling my wife why I need to go to the pub every night! I tell her I’m going to check the weather and that’s wearing a bit thin.😂
So stoked to see next week's episode on Fiordland!! Wanted to hike into it when I was there - I think a 10 day track at the best of time, but unfortunately I was there in autumn and the route was just too swamped. Has always remained at my list but now I can live vicariously through you! ❤
Love this Venetian Blinds tune. I recall the last time it was used here. Mattias Tell. He sent me the lyrics so I could play the guitar parts and sing it.
Colin and his NZ mates have every right to be proud of that beautiful scenery. The US is also blessed with a LOT of mind blowing real estate that many many people have never taken the time to visit.
All I can say is WOW! The solitude and raw beauty is breathtaking and I imagine it doesn't even come close to seeing it with your own eyes. What an incredible accomplishment and opportunity you all have experienced. I am quite jealous
Hi team wow crazy to see that in real life. Myself and our film crew stay each night on land, in a house overlooking the bay you guys were in. We didn't hear about this event until we boarded that next morning and wow, thank you for helping the skipper out. It was apparently 50knots that night !! So huge thanks for helping out a boat in need, lucky you guys had been up to catch it !!! big ups, and yes well done on promoting the anchor alarm. Safe travels
Absolute magic there in Fjordland! One of my favorite holidays ever. For the best experience, you actually want some light rain showers as thousands of little waterfalls appear out of the cliffs. It's really an amazing place! Oh, and a sandfly tip: if you are out on a trek, they can't fly as fast as your walking pace. As long as you keep moving, you're golden.
That call out to Colin: “I’ll hold your hair”. 😂 I used to fly into Dusky Sound often in an old friends helicopter to go fishing. It’s spectacular. Just drop a line super close to a stream head and they come up in seconds….
Extreme Mother Nature beauty brings tears to my eyes as well, Colin. When i arrived back in Canada after 22 years in Australia, i literally kissed the ground. I love Australia but geographically they are extreme opposites.
Colin, I would say your travels are Divinely protected. The scenery is stunning. Thank you all for sharing your experiences with us so we can live vicariously through you. Love from CT ❤God Bless
We just got back from Lake Powell and had a 59' houseboat anchored to shore with a wakeboard boat tied to it. A huge storm rolled in and we lost one anchor line, then it drug the other anchor on that side and spun us into shore. It was super scary and chaotic, but everyone and the 2 boats were safe. We were commenting about the constant state of vigilance owning and renting boats requires and how that can take a toll. We thought of you and your crew. Be safe and blessed!
Colin great to see that a fellow captain has acknowledged your efforts certainly could have got ugly. Your crew are fabulous as they are always on the ball which is fantastic. Another great episode Team and looking for to what’s coming next down the Southern extremes of New Zealand. Take care, be safe and God Bless 😇👍⛵️
Thank you for sharing that beautiful scenery. I'm sure it is so much better in person. Glad everyone was able to act fast enough to save both boats an no one was hurt. Stay Safe, see you on the next one. ♥much love ♥ to Captain and Crew. Y'all are an amazing Team.
It is truly beautiful and so remote. Reminds me of Port Davey on the SW of Tasmania, similar scenery and weather. You can only get there by boat or walking for 5 days, also a very special place. A few tiny planes can ferry in or out the walkers.
Most people don't get how much of a pain even a little damage to the boat is when out cruising . A bent and busted Stanchion can not only be dangerous at sea if it takes out the life lines but is near impossible to replace on location .A small glass repair is not so bad , in that it can be repaired on site as long as you carry repair epoxy like Colin and is just ugly for a while .
Great episode..been there myself and its stunning (as is most of the South Island)..we had mozzie that even got inside the camera..the vertical waterfalls were stunning..NZ always better than the brochure...natural beauty at its best
Another stellar episode with spectacular scenery, I always look forward to my armchair trip with Parlay! If you are looking for episode ideas, I’d love one that explains some of the nitty-gritty details, how do you pick your crew, how long can they stay, how do you figure out who pays for what, have you ever had to kick anyone off??? As a retired nurse I’m also always interested in the medical side of things, your episode on the fire ants just about gave me heart failure! What do you have for medical kits? How about health insurance? What do you do if someone gets appendicitis or a toothache on the high seas? Thanks for your great editing work!
Ivermectin or fenbendazole works for that
Don't give up on yourself.
The high-Quality production of these TH-cam episodes is rather mind blowing. Well done and thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much!
When Colin says "our boat" you can tell his friends have become his family, and they are all sharing a blessing of life.
Colin was 50% owner at the start. So in a very real way it was always ‘our’.
I remember in the early days off this channel you apologising so much for not sailing, and then when you had problems with lightening strikes and the problems before the big ocean crossing. But look at you guys now. Believe me I enjoy every episode is what makes it all worth it. Well dome brilliant loved it.

It’s out of this world down there! Thanks for watching 😊
school camp@ deep cove ?
My heart was in my throat watching the start. Great outcome, you're a true professional Colin, with a good dose of fun thrown in. A joy to watch and learn.
Thanks very much!
Seriously! You do know boat life is actually quite dull for most people? But you always have things kicking off 😂😂😂
Absolutely stunning scenery. Next week's episode is going to be epic.
It sure is! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Reminder of why a deck watch can save you from disaster even at anchor.Good job saving the boat again.
Best sailing channel on TH-cam
Thank you, thank you!
Of all the big channels out there never looked more forward to a next episode than I do right now!!! Cheers!
Anchovy flavored duck is a hard no for me. Beautiful scenery makes me wish I traveled when I was able. Thank you for bringing us along with you. Stay safe.
Haha we had to give it a try but agreed it is a no
Same thing happened to us in Thailand with another unmanned boat dragging anchor…Ted had board it, get the engines on to prevent it hitting lots. Nerve wracking so we really feel you there!
So proud of you getting to the Fiords! Well done! 🙌🏼
Thanks Marcie! ❤
Wow. Parking Parley under a waterfall? Damn, cannot wait for next week Colin
It’s going to epic!

More to come!
Done this in a helicopter and had to cry. It's sooooooo beautiful . never forget this. Actually moved to New Zealand as its just stunning.
What an exciting start to your day. You guys were paying attention. We all pray that Parley never suffers any damage that would stop your video's. Love, carry on

New Zealand is something special!
Oh wow now that water fall was crazy nice. thanks for sharing this every week.
Appreciate you watching every week :)

What a beautiful country NZ is! I was lucky enough to go canoeing and camping in Doubtfull Sound 20 years ago.
Can’t wait till the next episode. 👏👏
Very cool! I can only imagine it was more untouched and beautiful 20 years ago
Always eventful on Parley. And I always enjoy the adventure. Cheers Parley crew!
Cheers for watching!

On a boat named "Parlay"!
Haha very true
Legends as always ... Dirty Bird is the Word!
Haha dirty bird sounds about right 😅
I cannot imagine that boat anymore if Katie wasn't there. She is a bundle of lovin fun.!!
Thank you for sharing your journey. I used to scuba dive but now have a rare lung condition that prohibits me from diving. I am living vicariously through you!
Those crayfish are insane! Glad you guys had a safe passage. I was worried about the swell.
It was pretty nerve wracking for sure
As a kiwi in the north island thanks for showing this Parlay.
You’ve got to make it to the South Island one day 👌🏼
I look forward to your videos each week! You and your crew are just awesome. Thank you for letting us be there with you on your journey.
Just love MB's -- pai rawa. The taste is in the DNA from way back.
Thank you once again for sharing your beautiful country with us. It truly is stunning to see how remote and protected it is. The crayfish at the end made my mouth water, it looked delicious. Love the shots of Parlay from behind around the 19 minute mark from the drone. Looks amazing.
Thanks 👍
"I am the fender"

I live in Riverton on the south coast and I am impressed with you guys taking on the corner (Puysegur Point). Kia Kaha.

Hope to make it there someday. Thanks for watching!
@ParlayRevival I will have beer on ice and some Canadian Whiskey ready to welcome you!
Would you mind please telling my wife why I need to go to the pub every night! I tell her I’m going to check the weather and that’s wearing a bit thin.😂
Tell her you are having a meeting to keep up with current events.
😂
You inspired me to get a boat and start sailing! Thank you some much for all of the content over the years keep it up!!
That’s awesome to hear. Thanks for sharing and for watching each week 🙏🏼

It’s out of this world!
Fiord lands!
New Zealand
Chilean Patagonia
British Columbia to Alaska
Norway
All are spectacular!
Mutton bird is absolutely delicious - we had it at the pub on Stewart Island, cooked by someone who knew how to cook it properly
People really do love it
Thank you for taking me to places I would never see. These videos are fantastic!!
great outcome, stunning scenery
Colin, I am so amazed at how you just carry on. What an amazing place you're visiting.
Love this Venetian Blinds tune. I recall the last time it was used here. Mattias Tell. He sent me the lyrics so I could play the guitar parts and sing it.
That scenery is so dramatic with the cliffs and mountains. The greenery is simply crazy stoopid beautiful.
Pub networking is definitely a thing that can produce great contacts.
Indeed 👌🏼
Colin and his NZ mates have every right to be proud of that beautiful scenery. The US is also blessed with a LOT of mind blowing real estate that many many people have never taken the time to visit.
Great episode guys! Spectacular scenery.
🙏🏼
This episode has it all hasn`t it: nervewrecking, funny, educational, very nice scenery. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
You lucked out again on the weather window. And wow what a scenic area of New Zealand. Looking forward to next video
We got so lucky throughout this whole circumnavigation 🙏🏼
All I can say is WOW! The solitude and raw beauty is breathtaking and I imagine it doesn't even come close to seeing it with your own eyes. What an incredible accomplishment and opportunity you all have experienced. I am quite jealous

Thanks Parlay Revival crew for sharing!!!
Fresh anchovies are a wonderful and subtle fish… nothing like the weird salty preserved objects you get on pizza.
New Zealand is beautiful.
Sure is
Can hear how proud you are of your country and the fact you and the crew have made the journey in Parlay. 🤙🏻
you are the man (Parlay crew). thank God nothing happened. stay safe
