Beautiful scenery from your trip ... gorgeous flowers (you must have a very green thumb, Denise!) ... as always, just can't get enough of Roxy--such a cutie! Oh, the story of your brakes was just horrible. It immediately brought back to mind a similar experience that happened to us when we were driving from our old home in Michigan to our new home in Florida--just remembering it make me shudder, but we also had wonderful people who stepped in to help us. I'm so glad you are OK!!!
Thanks Ann. I feel so grateful to be here. At home and content. Roxie. She goes in the morning to be spayed and you know I'm a wreck. Also, she isn't losing her baby teeth and her vet is going to check her mouth while she is under to make sure there isn't a problem. And, this holiday has finally made her cuddly at night and last night she tucked her head against mine and rested herself on my shoulder. I am not a pray-er as a rule. But the men who saved us were so casual about it like it was just another crazy day at work, that I appreciated their candor a nd "awww shucks" attitude. Enjoy your week and keep on smiling.

Wow you live in such a beautiful country! Thank you for sharing those beautiful Mountain shots. It’s always amazing to me that some people who live there probably don’t get awestruck by them because they see them all of the time. I hope some take a moments to give thanks for the beautiful world we live in, even if it isn’t new. I lived in Malibu, Ca off of PC1 for 2 years and even though the traffic was so bad at times, it gave me a chance to take in the scenery and to feel so special that I lived there. I am like minded with you that there are tiny miracles everyday, and Devine intervention when a little more oomph is needed. I 100% agree that you broke down when you were supposed to. Think of the people who don’t even know that that change saved their lives too. The ripple effect from that 1 think in your day would have affected many. I am so glad that you were ok and are ok. I do want to ask though, how do you know that those men didn’t have wings under their shirts? ;) Very nice vlog. Thank you so much for the reminder to me to stay grateful and humble.

California always seems so magical and mysterious to me, Like many, I have seen the tourist stuff and that certainly doesn't give you an idea of what it would be like living there. It took being away for two weeks to appreciate where I live and who I have in my life. The Sunshine Coast is a wonderful place to live and when we got off the ferry and I breathed the fresh ocean air, I knew I was safe. At home. I think I will always remember my three wingless angels.
