Beautiful old hotel that was almost completely destroyed near Clearwater. I had not heard of it either until they moved and remodeled it. I wish I had seen it before they moved it. Thanks for watching and liking! 🙂
The tour is definitely worth taking. It is free and happens a few afternoons a week. You don't have to be a guest either. You can make reservations with them and come for the afternoon. We loved this hotel, especially at night. We got to sit on the front porch and just relax.
Stayed at the hotel in the late 1980s and it was truly a beautiful building, though you could tell some parts of it where starting to deteriorate. So glad to see that they kept at least a part of this landmark hotel.
It was a nice stay! We had fun swimming in the pool, taking the tour, and just wandering the hotel. I am so glad they saved at least a part of it, but sad they could not save more. It must have been amazing to stay here in the 80s. I never got to see the original hotel, only the new version.
Nice tour with interesting information 👍👍
Joey was a very knowledgeable tour guide and historian. We love old places and Florida history. Thanks for watching! 🙂
