Hi Thanveer, great question. I am trying to work on partnering with an agency in the U.K. to allow physios an easier transition into the U.K. healthcare system. I will announce it when ready on the channel.
      Thank you

      Hi Nanya,
Thank you for the kind words.
It would usually depend on the job you’re applying for (it will say when advertised weather it’s for a band 5 or band 6 role). You can choose what to apply for.
How much previous exp you have and the evidence you have will also contribute to getting HCPC registration when you apply for registration.

Depends what kind of lifestyle you want to live. Only you can answer that question for yourself.

Hi Masud, firstly your videos are great!
I'd ask you a question about physiotherapy degrees in UK.
I've checked that the University of Salford is doing a part-time university degree, what do you think about?'
Can you balance working full time and study physiotherapy part-time?
    Thank you!

Hi Marco , thanks for commenting mate. Appreciate that 🤩
I think it’s good option but I’d imagine it would take close to 6 years to qualify which is a lot of time for me personally.
But if you’re passionate about becoming a physiotherapist and see it as your goal, it’s an avenue which could be used for people who have other responsibilities and lack the time to dedicate to a full time course.
It would probably be less intense as well as you have more time to spend with the content.
To answer your question - I would say it would still be a huge challenge as physio is a different language and at the start it’s a steep learning curve but as I mention above because you have more time it may be slightly easier than normal course

thanks for the quick reply Masud,
the problem is that I'm 28 even though I look younger lol.
Currently, I work as an IT Support Specialist, so It'd be a drastic career change I know. But I absolutely need to work in the meantime.
What do you actually suggest? I mean, would it be possible to start working as soon as possible as a physiotherapist assistant and study alongside for the Physiotherapy degree?
      Many thanks, man!

Hey Marco , the career change.. trust me I know what you mean. There were people from all sorts of backgrounds on my course but honesty you’ll be ok as long as you put in the time studying.
You can defo work part time alongside the degree as an assistant but personally I would say in the first year it might be fine but as you go up to 2nd and 3rd year it will be more intense and you need to focus on your studies and placement. (Not saying it can’t be done but it will be super tough)
Another thing I would do is get a job outside of physio whilst you’re on the course studying as it would give you a nice break since you will be involved so much with physio however at the same time working as a physio assistant could give you more exposure to other health professionals and you could learn some things from them that you wouldn’t be be able to in a classroom so both options have their pros and cons..
I wish you all the best Marco, let me know how you get on

      Masud Saeedi
Hello Masud, my idea was to work full time and study part-time actually.
I don’t know if this is possible anyway because I have to wait at least 2 year before apply for university...

    • @masi4579
      @masi4579 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@marcocarassale9456 because the course is classed as full time. I’m not sure if you would be able to work full time alongside it.. I would research the grants and loans available to healthcare students and see if you work out your finances on that and a small part time job.
It is a full on course Marco so you have to be fully committed.
