I don't even play WoW seriously. I log back in once in a while, jack the graphics up, and quest around in these fantastic zones. Don't care much for anything else. Always a blast.
The people making the assets (from textures to 3D models to music) are trying their damn hardest to carry this game on their overworked backs, I swear!
I remember going through this zone for the first time...absolutely magical. BFA was a mess with its lore, but the smaller scale stories like this were on point the whole time. By far the standout leveling experience of the expac in my mind.
Drustvar is quickly becoming one of favorite zones. The coven monsters, the area itself, and this music! The whole thing is so spooky, like a dark children's folktale. It has a kind of whimsy to it, as well as a foreboding feeling.
Waycross Manor is my absolute favorite dungeon. I Love it. Also, Drustvar reminds me of how Diablo 1 made me feel back in the day. The ravens, the witches, the cult, the ghosts and mosters. The dead trees/Halloween style forest and other atmosphere.... Absolutely my favorite area of all expansions.

While BFA overall was extremely lackluster and I didn't enjoy it very much especially after 8.0, the zones at release were incredible. In Kul Tiras in particular, Drustvar and Stormsong Valley are two of my all time favorite zones in all of WoW's history.
This zone is so Haunted Mansion and I fucking love it...and the organ in Waycrest Manor makes me scream "Yyyyeeeaaaahhh!" every time we run thay dungeon.
I absolutely love this channel and the Warcraft music videos. I'm always surprised by the lack of people that listen to the in-game music; it's so good. Thank you for putting so much time and effort in, it really shows!
@@AikoPuppet as a kid playing, I never listened to ingame music, but as I find myself occasionally back online as an adult, the ingame music adds so much to the game.
Meisio your music mixes are so good that I often turn off the music function on WOW and instead listen to your videos as I'm playing! It's that much more immersive! Your hard work really adds to my enjoyment of the game!

Yes, the tracks for this zone made me think that the best composer for BfA is Glenn Stafford. What a come back for a veteran composer of World of Warcraft. But lets not forget David Arkenstone (complemented nicely by Leo Kaliski), Sam Cardon and my favorite modern WoW composer Neal Acree. Thank you for being here, I hope you have a nice time in BfA. ❤

Not playing retail, just exploring content in beta, Drustvar (music and look) and BFA was much better than Shadowlands in my opinion. Shadowolands is the only expansion where I don t like at all the zones and most of the music became very generic.
BFA was such an awful expansion... But Drustvar was gorgeous. I loved that zone so much, it was like finding a diamond in a pile of shit. Easily my favourite zone in all of WoW.

As a horde player i was sooo jealous i couldnt level and do quests on the Kul Tiras zones....i loved walking around with my undead warlock in Drustvar

This zone will always be the 'Disneyworld Haunted Mansion Zone' to me

This zone is basically Duskwood dialed up to 11.
