  • Rooted In the timeless wisdom of yogic sciences, Isha Kriya is a simple yet powerful process created by yogi and mystic, Sadhguru. "Isha" means the source of creation and "Kriya" means internal action. Today, for most people, the word "yoga" usually conjures up images of twisting the body into impossible postures.
    The physical aspect of yoga is only one surface of this multi-faceted science. Yoga is a technology to bring body and mind to the peak of their capabilities - allowing one to live life to its fullest. Isha Kriya is simple and easy to practice. Daily practice of Isha Kriya brings health, dynamism, peace and wellbeing. It is a powerful tool to cope with the hectic pace of modern life.
    Sadhguru, a yogi, mystic, poet and visionary humanitarian is a spiritual master with a difference. He is the founder of Isha Foundation, an international non-profit organization which offers yoga programs throughout the world.
    Sadhguru is the author of New York Times best seller book Inner Engineering - a yogi's guide to joy". He addressed the United Nations on International Day of Yoga 2016. He is a highly sought-after public speaker and has spoken at the World Economic Forum, Oxford Union, Harvard, Google among others. In January 2017, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India for his contribution to spirituality.

    Satsangatve nissangatvam, Nissangatve nirmohatvam Nirmohatve nishchalatattvam, Nishchalatattve jeevanmukti

    Punarapi jananam punarapi maranam, Punarapi janani jathare shayanam Iha samsare bahudustare, Kripayapare pahi murare
    || "Again and again one is born, And again and again one dies, And again and again one sleeps in the mother’s womb, Help me to cross, this cycle of Samsara (World) which is very arduous, but your grace is limitless, my Lord"

    I did the full mandala and on th 89th day I had a message from the Universe which in I had answers of long time unanswered questions. Also a way how to accept what I receive instead of willing to get things intrusively. Thank You Sadhguru and Blessing!! I wish to all of my brothers and sisters the best in life!! Shanti!!

    Jai gurudev sadguru,
    I am doing Isha kriya since 15 days, missing in between, still it is giving me immense peace and today in kriya I got a revelation , would like to share with you.
    I am not this body ....so the pains , difficulties & limitations also not mine,there is no need to stop/ limit myself thinking I am an polio effected person&50 yr old , so I can't walk for distances as others do.
    Really it's an amazing experience 🙏

      I’ve been doing this for several months but I can’t seem to complete even a week, though I also have it in my alarm. My goal was twice a day but I couldn’t stick to it so I have remained a “starter” so to speak. However, despite my failure I have noticed that my memory has never been better which is so fantastic for me as I am turning 70 this year. I do love you Sadhguru. Many thanks. I am still persevering…

Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This meditation took me into water it was dark but I could still see the sun light and in the sunlight area was a eel looking fish of some sorts. It was also blue and dark almost grayish. It felt like a memory. It had a fin on it’s head part and flailed terribly with no real sense of direction. It was alone and felt familiar. Like I was unlocking an ancient truth. Like that was the beginning of life (aside from plants). That was the first animal.

    Whilst doing this meditation, I reflected that water makes space for air, yet they can mix together. a fish passing through the water does not see it, just as a human passing through air does not see it.
    We are within our environment and understanding comes through looking from afar, distanced from the physical.

    I would say this is the first time I have ever sat still long enough without fidgeting or thinking ah I must do this or I must do that. I have been meaning to do yoga/meditation for ages. I’ve read your books, and always “never found the time” I woke up naturally at 04:00 I leave for work at 06:30. So instead of laying in bed I thought just get up and do it. I did you’re wake up routine, and then sat in the lounge and done this. Shortly after the ooohhhmmm part, I just smiled like I had an inside joke I couldn’t tell anyone, then that developed into a chuckle. I feel amazing and it’s only 05:40. I will be seeing you again tomorrow.

    If you have a difficult time setting in yoga posture, you can tweak it, I was in car accident, my knees were damaged, and spine, I have to set in chair and I just cross at the ankles, if you are not used to doing this start slow, do simple yoga, and work your body into it, if your body is not damaged in any way, you will get there!

    I have restarted this Krya meditation as I have gotten distracted by events in my life which steered me away from my inner work. It has now been 7 days and I'm adamant to keep it up for a full mandala cycle of 48 days. It has now been 7 days and I do feel the difference already. In the past I was just a beginner and didn't quite comprehend the separation of my mind and body and that wonderful distance created from this meditation. It is never the same; sometimes my thoughts come to try and enter and I now just hear them and let them go as the in and out breaths that goes along with the words make it so it dissipates them fairly quickly. Of course on some occasions other thoughts do the same and that process of the in and out breath with the words work. As for the body yes, it too speak to me and again the practice makes it so that I'm getting better to let that go too. I sincerely enjoy Sadhguru and have a created board on Pinterest in order to spread his messages throughout. In order for anything to be part of our daily peaceful lives without a strong attachment to things and people, we need to let our rigid habitual thoughts go and give ourselves a chance to try something even if we're not sure it'll work. Believe me the more I do this for Me, the more it works. It's called taking a leap of faith - in US. And why not? Are we not worth it??? Think about this, please. Thanks.

      Text copied from the screenshot I just took, of where I have watched this meditation over the last few years now;
      Safa Al-Nashy⚫ 3y ago (edited)
      (All credits to Vijay S from the original video)
      The breating should be as shown in this diagram
      To those wondering about what he sang at the end, he sang three stanzas from a 2,000 year old composition by Adi Sankara called 'Bhaja Govinda'. Adi Sankara sang it back then taking humans around him to task for not focusing on the truth & divine and instead wasting time on material pleasures. The meaning of the 3 stanzas he sang is as follows:
      Yogaratova bhogaratova sangaratova sanga-viheena; yasyad brahmani ramate chittam nandathi nandathi nandathyeva - Some take pleasure in and get addicted to actions w purpose (yoga), some take pleasure in and get addicted to luxuries/luxurious lifestyle, while some to company of society and social life, and some to avoiding society and social life. But the one who takes pleasure in and gets addicted to constantly ruminating on the 'brahman', he alone enjoys the real pleasure, no one else, no one else no one else.
      Sat-sangat-ve nis-sangh-at-vam | nis-sangh-atve nir-mohatvam nir-mohat-ve nischala-tatvam nischala-tat-ve jeevan-mukti hi - The need for constantly seeking company(social life) of some kind loses it's lure/value by associating with vitreous(truthful) humans. Such non-attachment to company (and material stuff) will slowly lead to freedom from delusions and illusions. Such freedom from delusions will eventually lead to liberation from bondage of human death & births.
      Puanarapi jananam punarapi maranam | punarapi jananee jathare sayanam | iha samsaare bahu dusthaare | Kripaya paare paahi muraare Taking new birth after this life ends, and then dying again, and then taking new birth again and then dying again and so on and so forth, oh lord this life and bondage of life and death and birth and life and death and so on is very difficult, so please become compassionate to this misery of mine and protect and liberate me from this bondage oh lord.

    I've completed 21 days, very struggling + painful for me (arthritis, 70), remaining still, not swallowing, chanting 'A' focusing around navel, not thinking especially about ...monkeys😉). ' I am determined to do it 90 days, the best I can (even if below average), hoping to avoid hip surgery. I'm impress by Sadhguru voice mastering for 71x and chanting, I've noticed that he swallow sometimes (at the 50-51-55 of the utterings, which I do a lot +, even remaining silent). This for me is a patient or 'waiting power workout'

      Hey, I remember another video were someone (I am not quite sure rather it was Sadhguru) said you should talk to you doctor about sitting in this posture and maybe find alternatives if it causes physical health issues which might be your case. Therefore I would recommend you to do so:) have a great day

    It's sometimes difficult to say" that's not my body", becaus I'am very thankful for my body which h is very young, slim and beautiful and able to to so much in my almost 50 years. I am thankful to God for this body, but saying "it's not my body" feels for me almost like my father would tell me "it's not my daughter"...
    Could you give me some ideas please to be completely peaceful with this thought?...

    Thank you Sadhguru! I have been doing this meditation for some time, I have some questions. If we are not our mind, not our body, then who are we? Also, during the meditation I sometimes don’t breathe, is the right way to meditate is to focus on breathing? I find myself in a different realm

      You are consciousness/ spirit whatever you want to call it that is aware of the mind, body, emotions, sensations feelings etc. Anything we are aware of we are not as we begin to realize this we start to become more aware of who we truly are which as our natural state of peace and joy. Body, mind etc are just blocks to this like clouds covering the blue sky.

    My thoughts are every time coming up diring the meditation. I am able to let them go for a moment, but they a coming again and again during the first, second, third and forth part of the meditation. How is your experience with it? Can you stay at least a half of the meditation just enjoying it and without others pictures in your mind?...

    • @adelinexxrose
      @adelinexxrose หลายเดือนก่อน

      The most common misconception about meditation, or the process and/or result of meditation is that you’re able to “silence” your thoughts and completely clear your mind. Well, in actuality, the same way you can’t just make your organs randomly stop working out of sheer will, your brain will continue to calculate anything and everything. The goal of meditation is to slow down your thoughts enough to learn to simply acknowledge them without letting them take over a bunch of your headspace or affecting your emotions-especially the negative or stressful thoughts. You learn to focus on what is important to YOU in that moment and filter out everything else that’s unnecessary, or teach you to acknowledge them from a calm or stable perspective that often results in acting on them aka solving problems from that stability which is already 100% more effective than acting on something without being from a point of stability.
