BUILDING A FREELANCE CAREER DURING THE PANDEMIC

Through my passion for creating and the circumstances of a pandemic, I was thrown into freelancing with no idea how to really navigate the world of the gig economy.
Over the past two years, I've worked for nine companies, produced five podcasts (I worked on two others as a researcher), a short film and have written countless articles for digital and online magazines.
It's been a ride!
But I essentially burnt myself out jumping from gig to gig with little breaks and a lot of outsider pressure to work through the mental strain. I also went through somewhat of an awakening which prompted me to question the 'why' behind it all, and I wanted to share my revelations.
