I noticed when you showed us the, sand truck in operation it was losing sand when the sand dumped from the slow belt to the snowmobile belt. Just a 6" and the with of the slow belt save a little sand. Have a good day Andy
I think that was just like fine sand and Dusty stuff falling through the track not so much large amount of material leaking by. Gives a little bit of traction in the alley, right lol
Ever think about think about taking fertilizer disc of and putting air down pressure with trash whippers on with bandits we had the same setup u got and changed it what a difference it made we no till into our cover crops and vertical till

I remember like yesterday you saying Jared was 25. Time goes too fast. My grandson will be 18 in 2 weeks and my daughter came home yesterday from the hospital with his new brother. It always amazes me how much it takes to run a dairy farm. Thirty something K for 6 tires. WOW! I have said that in the past and will says it again in the future. Another enjoyable post. Thank You.

That's screwed up that these people pray on the generation that helped build this country. A lot of people my age (Early 30s) make comments like how could anyone fall for that but those are the same people that live on their phone and never put it down 12 hours a day
Andy, I bet that corn planter probably cost more than a small farm used to. I can understand why you rebuild it practically good as new when you’re done. People can see how much work it takes to put milk on the table. Thank you sir.❤

Just wanted to say I greatly enjoy your videos and say you're my favorite farmer posting videos.... Including over the big grain operations in Minnesota, neighbors North of you, or even smaller families milking in Wisconsin and Ohio. I grew up on a dairy farm but joined the army for a 25 year career and now work in Homeland Security focused on critical infrastructure.....yah, I'm with the government and here to help, lol. I've been watching for over a year and skimmed the older videos, and don't see one that overviews your milking process. If there is one can you maybe repost it, if not maybe consider doing one that shows everything from the calf raising lot, birthing area, to the milking process? Doesn't have to be much, just twenty minutes maybe. Would love to see your set up and how things have changed since we stopped milking in Ohio some 35 years ago. If you don't post anything of the milking for specific reasons just share that in an upcoming video so those who care know.....I can imagine various reasons you don't, especially after experiences as a kid growing up with neighbors we now call "Karen's", health inspectors, etc etc.
One of my favorite uncles owned a Good-Year Tire Store in Saskatoon. He had a Farm Truck as well. Tires for equipment were much smaller in the "good old days". Wilf bought into the tire store later. They had some equipment on the farm truck but nothing like today. It was common to use fluid filled tires back then. Thank you for sharing your farm channel. By the way, Jared seems to know what he is doing. A good man is hard to find. Take care. 😊

Andy I had 3of the uses noticed and I thought that they were bogus, deleted them soon as I got them. I don't answer any of them. Great video, I had a 6row international Air planter back in the 70s, miss those days.
@@barrysimmons5489 In the mid to late 50's my dad had a 2 row planter and then he found a jd494 4 row planter on a sale that he bought , we thought we were in high cotton then .He was from Arkansas, hence the highh cotton remark.

Did he say the 6 new tires were $35,000? I know that is wrong but what is the right number$3,500.00 doesn't sound like enough?
