      although it was a "short" hike it was the most challenging thing I have done since Seminole Canyon. It was more challenging than that hike as the path was so rocky and jumbled. It took me over three hours. {I think most people can make it in and out in about one hour.} It was well worth it though. I only wish that I had planned a little better and made the hike in the early morning so I could have spent some time relaxing and listening to the water. Buster will be happy to know that it is a dog friendly trail too!

    We used to go there when I was a kid . Dad had a old winnebago and we could ride dirt bikes around the trails . Less restricted then. Only had gravel and dirt roads and no designated parking or camp sites, but it was a great place. This was 50 years ago.

      I almost laughed in the Rangers face when he asked "and your riding on the main road? "
      Thanks for watching!

      @Rabbi Jesus the truth is, every other park I visit there is someone on staff that wants to bring the heat down on the scooter dude. most are park hosts but many are trained law enforcement park rangers who really should be more observant, because I do have no less than three handicap stickers on Little Red. I was embarrassed for him from the very beginning! It is not like I was running full speed and blowing people off the very rough gravel road!
      With all that being said, I am very grateful for him doing his job as best as he understands it to be.
      Thanks for watching!

    Years ago (long before it was a state park) gorman falls was not NEARLY as overgrown and there were hints of previous work done.
    I recall seeing a very large steel cable at the falls literally buried in limestone rock.
    I would bet money that giant cable is still there... It'll take 500 years to desolve into rust!

      It was really hard to see the falls in totality because of all the tree branches. I just wonder what the giant cable was used for.

    Are the sites reserved, or are they first come first serve sites?

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are now reserve only but if you show up and there are sites available you can still get a walk up reservation.

    Mr.Dude RV, I would like to find out your opinion about the difference in quality between Bilstien and Road Master RSSC Steering Stabilizer ( reflex ) for E450 2019 August Holiday Rambler.

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am honored that you want my opinion! Have you watched the video I did on the shock and damper upgrade?
      Here is what I know. I can not find any Road master products that will work on the E450 chassis. What Road Master stabilizers I find are pricey so even if they have one that fits it is going to be at least three times the price, not including labor.
      I could very well be wrong but I doubt that you are going to see twice the improvement for the money. I have watched the video from etrailer on the 2016 E450 and like what I see, but you have to decide if you can justify the expense. for me the answer is no.I personally would go with the Bilstien damper and shocks I have also added Airtabs on the rear and no longer have the "whoosh" effect from big trucks. On the freeway I often find myself passing trucks and other RVs at 80 MPH with no steering issues. For what it is worth, those are my thoughts... here are two videos on these upgrades....th-cam.com/video/ClHnKSoLSDU/w-d-xo.html

    Nice video 👍, you were right, that was a rough terrain, way to rough for little red, looked almost to rough to walk on, sorry you had to deal with the ranger, I guess he was doing his job, anyway you handled it well, hope Y'all had fun, enjoyed the video, I gave you a shout out on #17, thank again for subscribeing to our channel, as always REMEMBER JESUS LOVES YOU 🙏 🙏🙏 .

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was not very friendly terrain for Little Red! I was and still am embarrassed for the ranger, it is not like I was speeding or trying to get away with anything, I have three handicap stickers on Little Red, One on the rear fender and two on the front. The question, "And you are ridding on the main road?" was the most absurd. I did my best to not laugh out loud when he asked that!
      Thanks so much for your support! I really appreciate it!

    Looks alright. But it’s obvious why that guy is a park ranger and not a regular cop. 🙄

    • @DudeRV
      @DudeRV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He is doing his job the best he know how. He is not the only ranger that I have had that exact same conversation with. I have pretty well mastered that conversation. thanks for watching!
