I genuinely don't understand why your channel doesn't have more views. The algorithm is dumb.
I was looking for this comment, and from Trent of all TH-camrs, and, ofc, travelers, what a compliment. It was through Trent’s channel that I found yours, you both have phenomenal exploration channel content.
@TrentTheTraveler Thanks again for watching, Trent! Still a big fan of your content 🎬 While it would be nice if it could be faster, I'm having steady growth one adventure at a time 🏕️ I'm in it for the long run and the love of exploring 😉
@lauraa2778 So good to have you, glad you are enjoying the adventures!! 🏕️
Patience for this guy!! He will blow up any time now. He’s killing it
I like your content, I think over 7k subscribers is very good especially in what appears to be less than a year of channels existence. I’ve been at it a lot longer and haven’t hit 1k yet 😂. Of course I’m not consistent anymore either. I think you are doing great and you will “blow up” soon.
The berries you are picking from the tree are Mulberries.... The tree is a Mulberry Tree.. 100% edible, Thank you for taking us along with you on another amazing camping trip...looking forward to your next adventure! Be safe!!!
They were delicious! Glad you could come along, and glad you enjoyed 😊 Thanks for watching, Dom, and I will make sure to stay safe! 👍👍
Wes you really have a cool thing going with your channel. Me and my wife ran across you not too long ago here on TH-cam and we are hooked on your videos. It's nice to find a really kind hearted person that a family can enjoy. Thankyou Wes. 😊😊😊
Thanks Josh, so glad you and your fam are enjoying! I definitely try to keep my videos family friendly and interesting, so glad you can appreciate it 😊
You are definitely my new favorite channel!
Thanks, Kelyn!! 😊 Glad you are enjoying
This adventure is a reminder to always pack your tent, Nice camping.
Very true, you just never know when you'll really need it! Thanks for watching 😊
I particularly love the cooking / snack ideals in each video. I’m glad to have met your mom, which led me to your channel. She’s an awesome woman, whom raised an incredible man.
Thanks so much, and definitely agree that she's awesome 😊
Those are Mulberries. Great to eat and great to paint with!
True, my fingers were painted purple for days! 😂😂
Another great video by Wes? No surprises there! Another awesome adventure!
Thanks Tommy, appreciate you man! Glad you enjoyed 😊
Wow, thanks for taking us with you!!!
Thanks for coming along!! 😊
Fantastic! Ive always wanted to see someone camp there 👍👍
❤😊 hey Wes I absolutely have been binge watching your adventures on the little islands, kayaking , bridge camping abandoned highway camping, You give me the wants to go on these adventures I would love to go kayaking with you I've never done it You're amazing continuing your travels safe travels was
Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoy all the different types of locations 😊 So happy that the vids inspire you to want to get out there and explore 🏕️ Hope it feels like you're right there with me on the adventure. You should definitely try to kayak if you ever get the chance! I would recommend a rental or a cheap inflatable kayak from Amazon/Walmart (and life jacket). My first kayak that got me into it was around $60 and I had a ton of adventures with it 🛶 I will stay safe, thanks for watching!!
Finally I was able to watch this! I love your videos 🥰 That place was really cool and scary at same time, just like your abandoned bridge video. I liked this one better though, and I'm glad you are safe 😊 Good thing you had a bug net 👍 I bet the fireflies looked magical. Your dinner looked so yummy too! My Grandmother used to use fresh dill on many of her cabbage dishes, I always loved that. Stay safe! 🙏 I can't wait until you post your next video! ❤
Glad you ended up enjoying it!! It was definitely an interesting combination of spectacular and spooky haha. Dill adds such a nice touch to so many dishes, your grandmother definitely knew what she was doing 💙 Thanks for watching again and being so supportive and encouraging, Suzanne!! I will make sure to stay safe! 👍👍 Next vid will be an island adventure, which I know you really enjoy 😉
Wes inspired me to go outside and go camping. Always gotta love the videos.
That's so good to hear Beckett, inspiring people to get out there and enjoy nature is really one of my goals!! Hope you enjoy it out there 🌲 Thanks again for watching bro!
A new video? Don’t mind if I do! Love it Wes, keep ‘em coming!

@@WesWherever That guy on the electric skateboard had a good idea for something paved like this

Yay your back!! Will watch asap👍♥️
Thanks Suzanne, hope you enjoy! 🏕️
Brother, you are one positive force and i can't wait to live vicariously via your channel.
Thanks man, you are always welcome to come along!!
@WesWherever your trip to the Island in the East River islet would have been rough with friends!
True, wouldn't have been much room for many people!
I’ve been there a million times, walked it and biked it, it’s fun getting into the air ducks: oh and those are mulberries
I’m watching and commenting so you know, there’s two tunnels there, but it’s like 7-8 miles to the next tunnel, and that tunnel is over a mile long and has the air ducts going the whole way through it, but they lock it up on the one end for tours
Yeah the air ducts were probably my favorite part! The acoustics in there were otherworldly 🔊 If I had brought a bike I would have definitely checked out the other tunnel 🚲 Thanks for watching, Brad! Keep up the good work yourself 💪
You got me hooked!
Love it man, you have some balls sleeping in places like that haha i'd be scared to walk down the tunnel!
Yeah it was sketchy, definitely had to make sure all my lights were fully charged for this one! Glad you enjoyed 😊
Just found your channel yesterday, your videos are so charming and I love learning about new secluded areas in the bay area. I wish your videos were longer and I wish you success with your channel!
Thanks, so glad you have been enjoying the adventures!! Even though I'm having a ton of fun on this road trip at the moment, I do miss the bay. Looking forward to getting back there... feels like infinite places/ideas to explore around the bay! 🌊🏕️
Love this guy and his cozy adventures 💯
Appreciate it bro, glad you enjoyed!!

Awesome content ! I love the spookiness and cooking ! Love how you sign off and end each vlog🫡
Appreciate that Amy, so glad you're enjoying the adventures (even the spookiness 😜) So good to hear that you like outros! I know a lot of people leave before getting to the end, but I still like to make the endings really fun and wrap up things up as best as I can. Thanks so much for watching!!
Love your videos Wes! 🙌
Have you ever adventured like this in other countries??
Thanks, Aidan 😊 I have not, but that would be so cool!! I do have my passport, just need to save up enough $ to make it happen someday ✈️
Great Video Wes! Thank you! The mouse 🐭 underneath your Bed was your included Free "security" system lol
Appreciate you watching again, Drew! Yeah I suppose he was 😂😂 Maybe he helped keep the bugs to a minimum 🚫🪳

You are so brave and adventurous you scare me some of the places you visit doesn’t look very friendly or they are very lonely but I do enjoy your content. Good luck in all you adventures! And please take care! 💕
Glad you are enjoying 😊 I really find these places fascinating even if they are a bit spooky. I do try to switch it up and visit all different types of locations though - should have another fun island adventure coming out next week 😉 Thanks for watching again, appreciate your support!
Cannot wait for more adventures brother!!
Thanks Matt, I will keep em coming!! My goal is gonna be to get a vid out every Friday morning 🤞
Another great video! I give you bonus points for using the minecraft cave noises, they’re pretty fitting for the setting.
Hahaha glad someone noticed!! Thanks for watching!
Berries are lovely
This spot was used during the filming for The Road. Pretty neat spot
So cool, I will have to check that out!
I make homemade pierogis, my mother and grandmother used to make them when I was growing up. It’s so so good.
Glad you are carrying on the tradition... I would love to try some 😋 I do have my great grandmother's recipe, I really should try making them sometime! 🥟
Heck ya iv been waiting for a new video drop what a great place to see and the history lesson was good too
Thanks Thomas, glad you are enjoying the adventures 😊
This channel should and will have 1m subs really soon. cool to find a channel before its huge. loving the content man, great vids!
Nothimg like this in Australia. Great watching.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!! 🇦🇺💙
Awesome place! Imagine fixing this place up! With a little TLC it would make a great bunker!! Awesome content!
Right!! Would be such a good apocalypse spot lol
really interesting!
Big fan of the kayak videos
But this location was awesome
Glad you still enjoyed this one! Next episode will be an island adventure with kayaking 😉 Thanks again for watching!!
SO COOL!!!!!!! I've been there for a walk-around about 5 years ago and wondered if I could do a night or 2 camp there about 4 years ago during lock-down. Thank you for the recon' and fun video!!! Now, I need to get some time off! I live about 2 hours from there!!!!!
Sweet, so cool you're familiar this spot! Definitely give it a try if you get the chance, was such a fun (and spooky) experience!
@@WesWherever It's way spooky! Glad I saw your camp! Keep up the great work!
Very cool 👌🏾
Great stuff again Wes I would’ve had a tough time sleeping there 2 ! at least you had the high ground and I’m guessing if anything large try to climb up there you would’ve heard it especially when you’re senses are on alert for anything. The lightning bugs must’ve been very cool to see probably gave me a little comfort at least get some sleep. I have slept with mice in unclosed area in Maine little cabin it makes for a long night with mice running around by u head ! Look forward to your next adventure be safe out there, my friend 👍🐆🐆😎
Glad you enjoyed this one! Yeah I tried to be strategic sleeping all the way up top - only one way in and out, so I would have heard them 👂 True, the lightning bugs were pretty calming to see, but could not overcome the power of the mice 😂😂 I will make sure to stay safe 👍 Thanks again for watching!!
I'd never out in a spot like this without a tent.
Yeah it was not as enclosed and sheltered as I thought it would be 😬 Glad it still worked out lol
@@WesWherever you could throw an epic party there.
Thank you for your video and well done and keep Up with The fantastic work thank you
Thanks for watching Andrew, I will keep em coming! 😉
Alright, Im now officially subscriber #6811 lol . Keep the great videos coming ❤! 😉

Thanks Steph!! Miss you all too... road trip is fun but can't help feeling a little home sick 💙
Little fur friends and birds for company better than any dangerous people coming good you had peacefully night
They were cute even if a little unnerving at times... was glad to have a bit of company. Thanks again for watching, Elizabeth!!
Good videos - you have a bit of a retro NPR vibe lol.

Stealth camp up near the Pagoda in Reading! Ephrata/Lancaster county has some good spots!
That looks like such a cool spot!! I am working my way through NY/New England at the moment, but I definitely wanna check that out if I'm back around there. Thanks for watching again bro 👊
@@WesWhereverno problem. Thanks for taking time out of your day to respond bro!
0:45 An type of Mulberry, Love your vids
They were delicious!! Thanks again for watching, Liam 😊
Oh my that's a real scary place 😲
I love camping off grid or at a campground or even my moms yard you are courageous to camp in these places I will watch and pray your safe traveling and sleeping ya make it to Minnesota I will help ya find a place or let ya use my backyard and fire pit
Thanks, Jeremy!! Yeah these places can definitely be pretty spooky and unconventional, but I do love trying new things and keeping it interesting! 🏕️ Going to try and do an episode in each state on my way back to the west coast. When you see a video in Wisconsin, you'll know I am close 😉
Great vid man!
Interested. Love from Nagaland India
Thanks for watching again, glad you enjoyed! Nagaland looks like a beautiful part of the country 🇮🇳
Be careful of Jinn in empty spaces. All the best.
I will be careful, thanks for your concern 💙
For some strange reason I really wanted to be that guy on the electric skateboard, alone in the dark with wheels and no harassment, absolute joy
True freedom!! 🛹🌙
I know of a untouched (not vandalized) resort in the Poconos. Its an amazing place to explore, but no one really knows of it.
Sounds sweet! So much to explore in PA, could probably spend an entire lifetime and still not see it all 🤩
Great video! Outdoor Boys did a video here I think! Good luck on future adventures and good luck with the channel blowing up
Thanks so much, Steve. Glad you enjoyed!! 😊
Mulberry tree and yes edible and taste good!💯
Was soooo good 😋😋
Pretty cool adventure man i would of been on edge sleeping there lol😂
Yeah I was pretty on edge for sure 😂😂 Thanks for watching!!
So cool! The outdoor boys TH-cam channel did a vid here as well! Thought it looked familiar! Loving the channel!
Glad you are enjoying, Coty!! Thanks again for watching 😊
Another great video.
Appreciate that, Nick!!
Thats a pretty gourmet meal as far as camping goes XD my dad would love you. He loves cooking while camping
Right?! It was soooo good 😋 I would imagine your dad has some cool camping meals, seems like camp cooks tend to get really creative 🧠
@WesWherever pretty similar do what you do or what someone would "normally" eat I guess XD pack up a nice big cooler and some dry goods. He had a nice two burner Coleman stove and he'd normally make coffee or heat water up on the smaller tripod stove like you use. He's always been outdoorsy. He had a job during college as a white water rafting guide, then spent 20 years in the air force. He'd often take us out for day trips on the weekend, and for a few bigger camping trips throughout the year. When I was a preteen he got into archery, so a lot of camping trips are him going out to participate in a competition. He's in his early sixties now and still goes out because he enjoys it, and because he wants to stay in shape so he can pack up and haul out meat during hunting season. I dont like to tent camp much anymore, but I love daytrips.
Anyway, continue to stay safe out there, you go to some interesting places!
Those are mulberries! They are delicious, and will stain everything and everyone they touch! Lol
Right!! My hands were stained for days lol
sweet firefly show
It was very magical! I wish it showed up on camera... going to get a better camera for lowlight soon 🌌 Thanks again for watching, Share!!
Hiya, Algorithm just showed me your vid, I watched it all ofc. Stunning location, am a bit surprised that the Petrol Heads haven't claimed the place as their own, doing a quarter mile run through a Tunnel like that with suped up cars would surely be the point! Especially with no Cops about, got to be better than an intersection take over. But really what a sweet location, super quiet with only the odd local taking a quick trip through the tunnel, I bet he loved the silence :) For mice and other noisy critters have you tried leaving them a 1/4 of an Oatmeal bar or Flapjack in a far corner? When I saw that road leading to the Tunnel, all I could think of was all the camping opportunities in the woods either side of the road. Wish you well Sir, hell of an epic adventure ahead of you :)
True, it would be such a cool spot for drag races!! On my way out the next day, I did see 4 bikers and a dad walking through with a stroller, so definitely seems like people like to make use of this tunnel. That's a good idea about leaving some food for the mice. If I could give them enough to get full and not want to come search near me, that would really work out! Thanks so much for watching 😊
💜
Great video especially since uncharted travel hasn't uploaded an "alone" video in a while
Glad you enjoyed... can't believe I haven't come across that channel! Definitely gonna have some fun watching those
Man crazy place. I'd have been sleeping with one eye open 😂. Have you ever happened upon any interesting characters camping in those spots? Been looking at electric unicycles. They look fairly light and can do around 40mph. Also equipped with a headlight. You ought to get one for paved hikes like this place. You'd have to travel light though. Backpack only probably. Just a thought.
I haven't quite yet come across any characters yet in these spots, thankfully 😅 I did used to have an electric skateboard that went 35 mph+, but sold it after I tearing my rotator cuff in a bad fall 😫 Would be hesitant to get one again, but an eBike doesn't sound too bad! Thanks again for watching, David!!
I would need a covered net with a cover to camp in there, too many bugs and birds for this old Girl Scout camper and leader, would rather sleep in the woods than in there, you are so brave.
Yeah I quickly realized it was a mistake to leaving my tent at home! Glad it still worked out okay 🙏 So cool to have a scout leader watching, hope you can appreciate the vids would love any wisdom you can offer!
@@WesWherever I slept with snakes, alligators and spiders the size of my hand in Florida, but had a tent or little screened placed there, always carry some kind of screen little tent, I must all the birds creeped me out most. Lol
I'm a new subscriber.I love your adventures. When i saw you in the East River NYC, NJ And camping in that old bridge in the gap off 80. LOL thats all my old stomping grounds. I now live in northern Maine in the Baxter State Park area. If your ever up this way give me a shout. Plenty of adventure and things to see. I own 160 acres of land your welcome to camp on even an off grid cabin nobody is using.Use it as a base camp.. Because there are many places to go up here. Anyway, keep up the good work with these videos. I really enjoy them!!!
Hi Harry, so glad you are enjoying the adventures! Your old stomping grounds really have so much to offer in a relatively close area... really been enjoying that about the Northeast. I am making my way through Connecticut now and plan to have at least one adventure per state. 160 acres... that is sweet, and I do plan to make it up to Maine! I will definitely reach out if I make it up to your neck of the woods, really appreciate your kind offer 🙏 Hope you continue to enjoy the future videos! 🏕️
It's a mulberry tree, they aren't blackberries!!! Big difference!!
11:38 Thanks though 😊
Great Channel Trent👍
That mouse lol I would have given a little mouse some food😂😂
True he was really cute, but sure didn't help me sleep any easier haha
2 hours up, 263 views, 21 comments.... I feel like that's a large ratio of viewers who actively comment, right?
That bodes well, methinks!
Yes!! Very thankful to everyone for chiming in, loving hearing from you 😊
Same tunnel The Bloodhound Gang used for filming their music video Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo. Bam Margera drove the bananamobile into the tunnel 😂
Oh I didn't even know that, so cool lol!
The noises are enough for me 😅😅
Subscribed enjoyed your video
Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying!!
They are mulberries, and yeah you can eat them. Also, cool video and creepy place.
They were really good 😋 Thanks for watching!
i love your videos so much! i hope to start camping like you. if i did start, is there any gear you would recommend?
So glad like them! 😊 For the bare minimum essentials to start out, you'll want a tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag & pillow. Other gear I would consider optional would be a camp chair/table, portable stove, lighting options like a headlamp/lantern, a knife/multitool, etc. You can find most of these pretty easily at Walmart or any outdoors store. I would recommend buying more affordable budget gear to start out if you're unsure how much you'll enjoy camping or how often you'll get to go. Hope you enjoy getting out there!! 🌲
Those are Mulberries
What a Zombie Apocalypse vibes.
Been there done that wrote the book on it as every other youtubers
Nothing new under the sun 😉 All about having our own takes and experiences with what this beautiful world has to offer! Thanks for watching
Is this still railway property with no public access allowed even though many people are coming into it often?
It is now a public Pike2Bike trail! 🎉
There’s an abandoned train yard go there in PA
Looks like such a cool spot!! I am headed to New England at the moment, but definitely wanna explore the train yard if I get the chance 🤔
@@WesWherever heck yeah dude it’s a sweet spot for urban camping definitely can post up in one of the train carts looking forward to see the video if u make it there!
Hello. Very different from some of the wild places you visit. Still very interesting but boy do I hate graffiti. All the best.
Definitely trying to keep things interesting with different locations... next episode will be an island adventure 😉 Thanks again for watching, Rhino!
Just found this channel and on my third video now, haha. Have you checked out Centralia?
So glad you are enjoying, Rick!! I was really considering checking it out, it was a tough decision between this turnpike and Centralia. I would definitely consider going if I get another chance though. Unfortunately it looks like 90% of the graffiti highway has been covered up, but it would still be cool to see the active vents, geyser and other anomalies it has to offer!
Was this the Breezewood tunnel?
Yessir 👍
Yeah, those were Mulberrys. Watch out for the purple staining of your white t-shirt (mom could never get those stains out of my t-shirts or my cheeks and hands when I was a kid).
Oh, yeah. And I remember riding in my parents car entering that tunnel. It was so cool. 20 years later, I take the same route, expecting to see the tunnel... nothing. What a disappointment.
Yeah my hands were stained for days 😂 So cool that you got to ride through here as a kid! Must have been a really cool experience. Thanks so much for watching!
I was born in Bradford Pennsylvania I know exactly where you are😂 and yes they are a different type of berry they are not a BlackBerry.. they are mulberry trees
So cool you are familiar with this spot! The mulberries were delicious 😋😋
I didn't know that Mulberries were edible.
Edible and delicious!
7:00 mark - shadow person? Top right corner
Hope not!! 😬😬
