Thanks for discussing the wifi options on board the flight, other vids rarely mention this. I wish i knew about this as i would have opted for the 4.99 package for my flight.
You only need a pcr test if your destination requires it. The layover itself in Dubai doesn’t require it. This is from their website “Transiting passengers are not required to present a COVID 19‑PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final destination.” www.emirates.com/uk/english/help/covid-19/dubai-travel-requirements/tourists/
@@TheTravelTipsGuy hello, just want to ask if know the requirements of Emirates airlines. After a positive COVID-19 passenger?I was tested positive last Feb 13 and my flight was Feb 14 unfortunately I didn't flight because of the result my PCR. I'm fully vaccinated with booster shot.. do think they will accept me on board if I will present medical certificate from the doctor that I'm fit to travel? Or do I still need to present negative PCR Test. Thank you very much. I hope u can help me🙏. I really need to return to Prague. I'm a permanent residence there and Czech Republic doesn't require negative PCR test anymore if u are fully vaccinated..
Middle seats are not left empty. Where they can they will try to seat families and groups together occupying a middle seat but in my experience there is no policy to leave a middle seat empty. Those remnants of covid policies are no longer in place.
Hi. Yeah that should be fine. They don’t really enforce anything in terms of hand luggage as everyone already has hold luggage included therefore there isn’t much hand luggage other than handbags, laptops and duty free. It’s definitely not like a Ryanair flight!
@@SLL537 It can be over as they never weigh it. They don’t even have the facilities to weigh it at the gate. They might do so at check in but I would t be too worried. In my experience they just ask how many hand luggage you have and then just hand you some labels to place on them.
Emirates never provided 2 meals on flights from England,..It was always 1 meal+ hot drinks + cold drinks + alcoholic drinks + pre landing snack (pizza or sandwich)
If you go back far enough, you'll find they used to provide 2 meals. I've experienced this myself. I'm struggling to find the announcement as it was almost a decade ago. Just google "Emirates is reducing the number of meal services on long haul flights". I wish I had something more in terms of evidence but trust me, it used to be the case that they did indeed have two meals on UK-Dubai flights or other flights of similar distance.
I have flown etihad in 2015. But unfortunately I don’t have any videos or a recent review as this was before I started this channel. It is good though. Unfortunately they don’t fly to as many airports as emirates so they often aren’t a choice for me.
Emirates food sucks not to mention if you need a date change you might as well buy another ticket. Qatar is a better option in my opinion and ill be flying only in qatar from now on.
Yeah sometimes the ticket change fees are ridiculous. I have yet to try Qatar as they stopped flying from my local airport but I'm sure I will get to fly them soon.
@@TheTravelTipsGuy Hey have you ever flown turkish to/from Birmingham? I'm considering them as I'm going to be heavily traveling to birmingham and tried emirates but hated them on this route
@@ameeraali2525 I’ve not flown them. Just beware that Turkish airlines use short haul aircraft on this route and some routes are operated by their low cost carrier andaloujet. .
Worst airline I've flown with. I have flown around the world many many times. I flew with Emirates from LHR to Brisbane via Dubai in early Feb in Econ. I'm a One World Platinum FF so had access to the first class lounges. The Econ flight from LHR to Dubai had the dregs of Essex who had NO idea how to behave on a flight. As soon as we landed and still on the runway, the Essex mob started opening the overhead lockers. The crew said NOTHING. Pax tried to bring in up to 6 bags each so took ages to load the Pax before push back, again, this should be stopped at the gate.
This is one of the aspects of flying that no one ever talks about - the fact that unruly passengers can quickly make a regular flight your worst nightmare. And what makes it worse is when cabin crew refuse to do anything about it. However I do sympathise with cabin crew as they aren't often paid enough for confrontations like this and the consequences of following through on action will mean possible flight diversions and disruption to their own schedule while further impacting the rest of the passengers. Its difficult position to be in.
@@TheTravelTipsGuy i remember once the migrant workers on an emirates flight from dhaka to dubai would behave like this. I recall them getting up to get their stuff the moment thr wheels touched the runway. I remmbered emirates stafg shouting at them to sit down straight away..Maybe it was their first time on an aeroplane...
I flew Emirates 777 about 15 years ago. Service in economy was very good but so cramped. More recently flown a380. So much better!
Love the A380. Too bad they stopped flying to my local airport after the pandemic.

Glad I could be of help. I am surprised they don't advertise the option more. It's almost the best kept secret.
thanks for the video! this summer me and my family are flying emirates economy and this helped a lot
I’m glad it helped. Hope you have a good flight!
Thanks for the clear and helpful review. We’re flying in a few weeks so good to know what to expect. 👍
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip.
Nice video my guy!! Mashallah
Thanks for watching!
Will you be making a video on the way back too?
On the way back I flew Biman which I will be doing a review video for shortly.
Cool
Thanks for watching!

Great video man! Nice voiceover too!
Hey, thanks!

Is Emirates leaving middle seats empty?
I flew 4 flights recently and every flight was jammed packed. Even the middle seats.
