My favorite part of "Breach the Karman Line" as a mission? As you come back to the Xylem, the devs programmed Rusty to ram into you head-on. No gunfire, no melee attacks, just him slamming the Steel Haze Ortus into your AC, so that you're face-to-face with a scant few feet between your cockpit hatches. He wanted to look you in the eye before one of you buried the other. That's metal as hell.
I always imagined it as just a moment of rage taking hold, he thought you could have been a saving grace yet all you were was a final betrayal. His home, his friends, his family, all hang in the balance and the ONLY thing standing in his way is the person he stuck his neck out for. He always considered the possibility that you was a danger, but seeing it there in front of him, years and years of emotions boil over at once. He killed rubiconians to stay in cover, he did snails bidding, he hid himself for years, and he is right at the finish line ITS RIGHT THERE, all he has to do is bring down the xylem and it’s over, then you come flying back to stand off against him? Hatred Anger Hurt Desperation Fear Rage All at once And he slams into you in a primal moment of absolute emotion, he doesn’t want to shoot you, he doesn’t want to kick you, he doesn’t want to slice you. He wants to rip open your AC with his and look you in the eye
Rusty was playing an extreme game of chicken with Raven and absolutely refused to blink, even if it realistically took them both out. Unfortunately, the impact doesn't actually do anything in-game, that would have been a cool "Game Over" easter egg.
Still one of the few fights that had me crying halfway through. Who would've thought that some of us are so depraved from positivity that someone calling us 'Buddy' the whole game would make us feel so sad :(

But seeing him stand down, and even praise 621 for choosing their own path, snapped my emotional armor. He's not infuriated by your betrayal. He doesn't chide you, when he has every reason to. By giving up, in the end, and using his last gasp to express pride in how much his hound had grown, he gave us his blessing.
It would be cool if you could slot in Rusty's "I won't stop" line from when he goes into terminal armor like in 2:55 or something. Really cool arrangement either way!

Fighting this absolute bro with the Moonlight felt like destiny in a way. I was quite a cheesy build (didn’t even mean to be, I just love tanks), so I won’t say it was too hard, however it was stylish and he gave me a run for my treads. In the end though, the legendary weapon struck down the legendary buddy.
I really didn't expect the story of the game to impact me in this way. I mean fromsoft are good at what they do but I really didn't expect to be that moved by the different characters. Fucking love this, keep up the great work :D
One of the coolest moments I saw someone playing AC6 was when Maximillian Dood was trying to decided THAT big decision and which to go for and somebody in the chat said, "Are you a dog or are you a raven?" He knew which mission he had to pick after that. That was beautiful. Also this is AMAZING! First time I heard Steel Haze in the game, I teared up ngl. Powerful stuff.

This version should play with Rusty as the Protag in his own game/DLC on a final boss battle. Starts the encounter being hit and brought to 1HP, but we hear his theme song fire up and he roars "I WON'T STOP!" then the player takes over.

It leaves room for one more, either Freud, Rusty or Hawkins. We didn’t kill Hawkins and Freud is too good to go down to any but the main character, so I believe that Allmind caught a weakened Rusty off guard.

Love it. After I saw that you did Contact with You, I eagerly waited for Steel Haze. And its even better than imagined. Love your vocals too, this time with "real" vocals (I still liked your Voice in the Abyss Watchers and Mogh Song, but those were no "real" Lyrics), I think you did Rusty proud, Buddy. :)
