    The difference between someone trained in knife fighting and someone who isn't is about 18% survival, what I noticed was his other arm not protecting his chest, there is a difference between civilian training to commando training, great video would love to see techniques with blade the other way round 👍👍

    A few basic moves you can perform perfectly is 99% of it. The goal is to stop an attack and get away quickly, so the slashing serves as a clearing move to stop any aggressor. This makes allot more sense than allot of other techniques ive seen ....

    After 20 years in maximum security prisons and living in the six Rivers National Forest near an Indian reservation I don't really care if somebody nicks my carotid or femoral artery. It's just sport or business and I'm going to die one day anyway not knowing i ever lived like a blade of grass or raccoon or star. Most people are too scared and too stupid to realize that, and they care about their arteries. Gives me an edge. A video is a video. Being alone in the woods out of cell will show one who one really is-larger than life or most likely a coward thinking he'd rather be baking cookies with his mother. If a person waxes me they won't be the type that brags about it. They will eat eggs as if nothing happened. And it will be a long time before he finds someone else to put up that kind of resistance in today's society and he will become probably depressed. If he has a close partner like that he may giggle with him/her about it a little later like a college prank. Women love those kind.

    • @NotEvenOverThere
      @NotEvenOverThere หลายเดือนก่อน

      In theory anything is legit, but in the way he’s showing it unless you already have prior training in some form of martial arts. He’s not actually showing any footwork or technique, it’s not against a resisting opponent, and it’s kinda incoherent. Anybody can waive a knife around but if he had a target at least we could see his precision, speed, and timing. Like this we just see a bunch of arm swinging and 1,2 boom.

    • @NotEvenOverThere
      @NotEvenOverThere หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Never trust any martial arts instructor who doesn’t at least show you footwork, as well as counters and potential openings to look for. Shadow boxing without any idea of what to look for won’t make for good training, how do you imagine something you haven’t seen before.

    Good tips for anyone. Including those wanting to harm innocent people like my or your family that is why this type of information was not shared with unknown and untrained individuals. That is a concern.

    Balance sucks...Your opponent willing to take a few cuts, knocks you off balance, then boot heal stomps you to death. Balance sucks.

    This man has never bee. In a real knife fight...never been cut.. I have... You use and to hand combat along with the knife... This is stupid... Sounds and looks cool but you will get killed... His speedy cuts mean nothing when you get bum-rushed in a violent way... This man can't even fight well don't do any of this goofy crap...

    Buy a big revolver and keep it with you, it’s been working since Samuel Colt revolutionized them. They don’t jam. They are intrinsically safe weapons (single-action or heavy trigger) without having any purpose-built safety features. And you can get a cap and ball revolver and make your own powder and caps from scratch. The only complaint people have with revolvers is cartridge capacity, but any true marksman knows that you only need one cartridge to eliminate one target.

    • @hitmanbluesband
      @hitmanbluesband หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your revolver is holstered, you will never have time to draw, aim and shoot it before the knife fighter is upon you. This has been tested and shown true many times (research it). Of course, if you walk around holding a gun, ready to shoot, you're fine (not really, you aren't mentally fine). But try it for yourself.
      Holster your faux firearm. Have a friend stand about 10 feet away with a rubber knife. Have someone else use a stopwatch and see how long it takes you to draw your weapon, compared to your friend slashing your throat. I think you'll be very surprised.
