To be fair, they had 4 years yo work on this while MW3 didn't even get 1 year of development time because Activision bailed out last minute and decided to make mw3 instead of a mw2 dlc so Sledgehammer had to develope a whole new campaign and multilayer in mere months

Haven’t seen it in action in Black Ops but back then in Battlefield 3 you could destroy tanks and helicopters with this thing if you used explosive ammunition. It was notoriously overpowered before it got nerfed to death. If you’re interested you can watch some old clips of this thing, even if you never played BF3 before its funny to watch lol

I know you will play the game all year long enough to get everything but still, how long does it take to get all cammos, how much pain in the tacco it is, and how much iQ you lose if you do the grind.
I love how when you inspect the weapon the rest of the HUD disappears, but the weapons name and a category of the weapon appears on the bottom left side of the screen
These are interesting weapons, but some of them are anachronistic or were just prototypes. For example: The XMG is based on an experimental AR-10 LMG, but this weapon never saw any combat and Armalite only ever made ONE of it.
And the USAS-12 is a very cursed rendition of the actual model possibly due to copyright, but it's confusing with them giving it a bolt release and no dust cover
@@Zilch616 I don't mind prototype weapons as long as they are restricted to multiplayer. Seeing rare and experimental weapons being used by Mobsters and Iraqi Soldiers in story mode is quite immersion breaking for me.

A.K.A. making a clearer difference from when you're taking out the mag, putting one in and racking the charging handle, compared to MW. However it's still robotic. They didn't did good that one ...
some of the anims are staggeringly less robotic than the rest especially the jackal and the kompakt, treyarch probably assumed everyone would use smgs or smth considering they got their best guy animating all of them
