My furnace is a combo ac, the condenser is underneath the furnace.My contractor had to pull the unit to repair water damage floors. He put it back in and the heat worked fine until the weather heated up and I discovered the ac wouldn't come on. He came back, couldn't figure it out and sent his dad (certified hvac) and we found the heater wiring under the house. He hooked it all up only to find the transformer had blown. Had to wait on ordered part (same one you used) and he couldn't figure out the wiring because there's more with my unit having ac. He told me I'd need to call another hvac service to get it fixed because he'd already paid his dad to come (prior to buying transformer) and he'd paid for the transformer. He won't do anything else because it was an insurance job and he's the one who messed it up. The wiring is a mess. Could you possibly do a video for Intertherm (Nordyne) model MGBB-056ABFC-06??? I have the original wiring diagram but am lost because of his mess. Thanks in advance if you can help in any way!!!
I worked on a furnace recently that used Wago 221's for all the low voltage hookups. It went faster and easier than usual, and the meter probe hole is a pretty neat feature. They're rated for 105°C. Any reason you know of not to use them on furnace wiring?

Did the new transformer the guy installed? Go bad right when he put it in?
