Question are you able to adjust gas pressure on these or does the gas company have to come out and regulate the lp outside of the wc isn’t where it’s supposed to be
Thank you so much for this. I thought I had a pilot light that I had to re- light but thankfully I saw this and realized that I have an ignition lighter. Tuesday a real technician like yourself is coming to fix it! What should the price for this be, if you don’t mind my asking.
Mine is only blowing cool air. Was recently serviced. Nozzles and outside filter should be ok, im guessing its the cad cell. I have a honeywell smart primary control. Cad cell is reading 999.99 resistence. There is ignition but not the normal brummmpth, a .uch quieter ignition....suggestions?
I have the same exact furnace in my home. It’s a loud mfer. Rn it keeps throwing the yellow flash for weak flame. I can see the flame sputter ever so slightly and it’ll run 10-15 minutes then shut off. I notice if I tap the whole furnace it’ll stay solid a second then do it again. Then if I wiggle the sensor next to the exhaust with the two tubes running to it, it’ll shut down immediately when it’s going. Any thoughts?
@@jhatfield2755I think your right. I give the inducer some love taps and it runs solid for a while but everytime it powers down I gotta reshock it to life
Can’t figure mine out. I call for heat. The inducer motor comes on and igniter comes on and gas valve comes on. And fire is ignited. But the problem I’m having is the flame goes out after 30 seconds. I have no flashing lights on 1018 control board
Clean the gas orfice and check the flame sensor remember if the flame sensor is bad itll tell the unit to kick off because it doesn’t sense the flame!!!

What would cause a weak flame on these furnaces when you have the correct gas pressure? 3.4 in wc going to the burner.

Inducer motor needs changed it probably not sucking enough fresh air for the flame

Do the ignitor continue to draw power after ignition or does it power down and just act as a flame sensor?
It powers down and senses the flame 🔥

I had to clean the hole out and the flame sensor. Worked but a few months later the igniter won't turn hot red.

WHy do these furnaces inducers get so noisy?
Screws start to get loose bearings start to go out most common problems thanks for watching 👍
