I can't reiterate enough how much I'd make sure you go with other people at the moment in the icy conditions. If you aren't so confident, UTS are running official recce weekends with Raw Adventures, you can check them out here: www.raw-advent...

This was a great day recce-ing the route. Let me know if you’re racing UTS too!
Doing the UTS50 this year second try after timing out at cp3 last year.. hopefully going to get the training better this year, at least one recce in, to get time on the trail.. but you 100k n 100 mile lot hats off to you.. it’s a tough course.. having said that.. I’m going to have keep talking myself out of the 100k when I get the 50 done.. so used to going to the next distance in a series.. but it’s a different beast of challenge.. and that’s after already doing a half, a marathon and an ultra on Snowdon over the passed few years.. UTS is the next level for accent. Good luck!
That's a loooog day! Well done, great tips thank you 😊
This looked so fun! Also the gradual plait deterioration was very relatable 😂 the bane of my life on long runs!
hahah that plait!
Watching from Australia, but born in north wales..lots of memories of Snowdonia from my younger days🎉
Ahhh it’s such a stunning place isn’t it!
@@CharlotteClarkeUK wasn’t a trail runner then, now I look at the scenery and think how amazing it would be❤️

Lovely content, I've subscribed. I did the UTS 100km last year and also did 2 sets of recces on weekends leading up the race. If you have any questions on the race as you mentioned some concerns. Let me know!
ooo thanks so much! I'm sure I'll fire some over!
Hello, When did you schedule your recces before the race? Ten, eight, or six weeks before? And what distance did you cover for both? Thanks!
Great video!! Really enjoyed it!

Thank you! You’ll be next!
Great episode! Would love to see a video on how you got into trail running!
thank you! oooo great idea, I'll film that for sure!
Just subbed 👍👍
Thanks for the sub!
Great video of the day!
What an adventure!
Great video! Do you mind sharing your gears and equipments i.e., shoes, waterproof jacket.
Sure! I can put together a talk through of the kit I plan on wearing for the race if that would be helpful? 😊
@@CharlotteClarkeUK yep it surely would be very helpful!
Definately won't be doing UTS - the field sizes are way, way too big for our hillsides - especially when including the most popular mountain in the UK. Not to mention the questionable ethics of UTMB / Ironman. Support properly sized local clubs & races.
