I graduated from the same management school as Abhishek last year. I can attest to the validity of his experience. Every bit of what he mentioned is nothing but the absolute TRUTH. Even with over a year of professional experience working internationally and after moving to London (city of opportunities) I haven’t landed a relevant job yet. The country is seeing probably one of its worst times ever and international graduates like us have to work petty jobs to make ends meet. So far I’ve applied to over 870 roles. About 70% never cared to get back and the ones that did simply said ‘we’re extremely impressed by your profile however on this occasion we’ve chosen to move forward with another candidate who has relevant experience’. My only takeaway from all the rejections is ‘ BE FLEXIBLE ’. Don’t just limit yourself to jobs in London or UK for that reason. It’s a free world, apply wherever you find good opportunities, gain relevant experience and you can always relocate. Good luck to everyone on the same boat as us, I wish everyone immense success.

@@AryanRao-yo8nq It depends on what you want to achieve from your degree, if you want to be a researcher in the same discipline UK is a good option but if your sole purpose is to get a job after the degree, they you should be ready for tough challenges as inexperienced hiring is not common at the moment. You could try Germany, Netherlands or the States for a better chance at landing a technical job.
I totally agree with him. From April , the situation will be even worse for international students. By the end of this year they are revising graduate visa also. They are completely trying to make UK unfavorable for international students. Those students who didn’t made it to this country are lucky people.

India mein kaam ka culture bahut jyada better hain. Please dont compare india and usa or uk. What indians do in one day, uk and usa do in one week. Life is very easy compared to india. The only reason people go abroad is they cant face conpetition here. Going abroad is not bad it is good as work is very less and pay is good.My company is of Uk only and the uk people work max of 4 hours or 6 and all the brain storming task are given to inidans.I would also go abroad but when i become a good software developer. Indians are very good in this field, if you want to become a good developer atleast work in india for 2 to 3 years before going abroad.
I got an opportunity to move to Canada for masters but due to shortage of job n recession is on peak their..my friend is already doing master from canda she suggested me not come to canda she is also facing very tough situation while searching job ..not getting any job their it's very tough to survive without job n if you are going their at that time on bank loan it's very difficult to pay your debt ...better to stay in India
Same goes for Canada too. If you go to UBC, UofT, Queen’s, McGill, Schulich, or Ivey, then it is worth it for management or finance. Placement reports shows 95%+ in 3 months.
Even in top 10 UK uni, you will not get sponsorship jobs in the Uk for Non British. But for Canada USA you still get jobs if you study in the top 10 and that is horrifying

@@suryanshkesarwani9688 I don’t have any plan to further studies . I upgraded my skill from TH-cam and other platforms. Did some certifications and landed a good job in India itself . The pay is decent as of now , but again I will upgrade my skill and switch to other company. Now I am focusing on skills rather than master , master is important but seeing the condition of every foreign countries I changed the priority.
This is why i think if you want to study abroad then it has to be a top university. I'm not saying it is easy and I'm not saying everybody will get into Oxford or Cambridge but i dont know how good uni of Liverpool is but it definitely is not tier 1 like imperial, Warwick, etc. If not a top school in UK, explore other schools in Europe like HEC, essec, IE, bocconi etc. If your graduating from these schools, definitely the likelihood is more than uni of Liverpool because all are definitely way better than uni of Liverpool in my opinion.
It is all about demand and supply. So, far this candidate is not even talked about the impact of AI related technologies in the field of finance when most banks and large financial institions are going for major cost cutting exercise globally and AI related automation. UK has been in recession for so many years and their media does not give the true picture of unemployment as it will affect the student market which is a large contributor to the UK GDP. That is why they are now looking for a free trade agreement with India.

Be patient and Apply with perseverance , the market is tough no doubt in it, but if you prepare your CV well make networking it will eventually land you a decent job in uk
