Honestly, definitely. If we hadn’t had scoped this place out beforehand, I would’ve been A LITTLE nervous but due to me having done these videos for the past 8 years, I’m used to it, but just at night with graffiti being already there, it is good that squatters weren’t inside
Ive never ever seen an abandoned hotel in good condition before like that is crazy I don’t know how the place didnt even get like good and i think it went bankrupt..
This place was insane, I did an abandoned Howard Johnson for which was even weirder because half the the rooms were untouched and the other half were destroyed and just tossed off over the place which was confusing
People could live there, i dont understand why its closed? Long term rent type of room... i hope somebody will use it before its ruined. Best regards from Norway
I believe it may be closed for renovations, but definitely hopefully someone used it before the place gets ruined. There’s already graffiti and some vandalism and I honestly hate it. Hopefully the best happens! Shoutout to Norway!
The two wearing gloves are smart. Back in the day a group of friends and I would go explore. I always kept a box of latex gloves in the car. Most guys would put on a pair or two. My best friend thought I was hyper protective and didn’t. Then we explored an old house. He bare handed put his hand in a soiled adult diaper. Needless to say the next time he it wore gloves had a box with him. Plus no finger prints. Saw some nasty stuff. Always wear gloves
@@JC-tf9wo Yikes! I’ve been doing this for the past 8 years and thankfully never had to deal with something like that, as soon as we got out of the car to even explore this place, i actually was the one who suggested gloves just incase

I believe it’s being renovated, but who knows if that’ll produce a new business, or how long this hotel will sit vacant. It’s been a couple years now so only life can tell
I agree. I would like to see it reopen as a hotel or be converted to a retirement home/assisted living facility, as was done to the former Embassy Suites near the Pittsburgh International Airport.
@@scottcrowell323 If it reopens as a hotel, they’re really going to need to build up a good reputation because with the complaints I read, they need to overcome that, but a nursing home could make sense. You were asking what Teak Room was. Hotels name their conference/banquet rooms. For example, Teak Room or Elm Room , Mahogony, Elm, Oak, Willow or Ambassador Room are all different names of each room Most hotels do this, they give each room a name.

Run down property being repaired in preparation to be sold. That dust is what settles after patching and sanding drywall. Toilet sitting in bedroom is probably there because they're fixing bathroom flooring, they'll reinstall it when that's done. Nothing mysterious about this place to me. I'm wondering if this is on Banksville Rd? I live in Pgh 🙂
Yeah nothing mysterious to us either, just seems to be in the process of renovation even though people have gone here and broke glass and tagged the place, and no this is not
Because we just haven’t really explored with women lol The main exploring crew are Me (Devon), & PJ. Morgan used to explore with us but is now for our paranormal content These guys though, are guests new to the channel to help make content while PJ & Morgan have just been busy, but we never really have explored with women unless a guest brings them with us, or it was my ex girlfriend a couple years back
@cdelaney1982 I’ve been exploring in Pittsburgh for 8 with over 100+ locations under my belt. Definitely is t the same like it used to be 6-7 years ago. We’ve pretty much explored what the city has to offer besides like small spots like churches for example, we’re more now branching out further
I really thought I would enjoy y'all's videos but you cuss like a bunch of sailors and it just is not respectful to any of us who like to sit and listen and watch a decent video with abandonments. I think I'll pass on y'alls and I'll just keep watching the younger guys out there that have been there respectfully for awhile 😢

So sad to see . This place could be cleaned up and used to shelter the homeless .
@@MeeMawCummins Everyone always suggests for homeless shelters but we all know that isn’t going to happen. People want business, people want greed

@betersabandonedadventures I think I know what which hotel you mean. It was originally a Howard Johnson.

This place would make good transient housing for the homeless.
Until they destroy it a week later
They could reuse abandoned places to build shelters for homeless
