Yes I normally book a hotel or an apartment but nothing was available at realistic prices so this was my only option or stay at daughters hotel which I did for 2 nights luckily 😊

I have not been to Tenerife in many years now. However I believe it's still cheap as in flight/hotel. I have used many hostels mainly cities. Of course to meet people etc, but I can't imagine the need to stay at a hostel there.
