I love the work of Justin Kurzel. Being following him since Snowtown, which was an arrowing watch. I understand how people might feel about a movie like Nitram. The same thing happened with the movie Polytechnique by Denis Villeneuve from where I'm from. Films like that can make us uncomfortable. But, as mentioned in Mindhunter 'how can we get ahead of crazy if we don't know what crazy is or think'.

It really didn’t feel like an anti gun film I’ve only seen it once but it’s very subtle the anti gun bits only happen twice briefly and at the end but it’s more about the emotional state of the characters
