Nice video. I am also on the waiting list for this exact watch for 10 months now, but totally worth it. One of the most beautiful dials made today. One comment though: the movement is actually a clone of the Miyota 9015 movement, which makes sense as both LJP and Miyota are owned by Citizen.
Hey Max I’m a huge fan of your BF2042 vids and am delighted to find you’re a watch nut as well. I was on the list for this exact model and pulled out as was impatient ! The model 1 is far better looking than the 2 IMO. Although I have a decent collection the regrets are real now, a really lovely piece, enjoy it! Keep it going with the watch reviews too please! As I’m Irish my grail is a McGonigle watch- check em out!

I just got on the 2027 waiting list. I am excited as I am half Scottish and the dial is absolutely stunning. Any regrets a year later or would you have ordered a different color or watch bands? I am pretty much sold on the Plum. Thanks

The way this dial plays with the light, just as beautiful as chronometre bleu for a fraction of the price. It's even a better time to buy now, since euro had devalued compared to the dollar.
I just received mine in mid December. One issue I have with the watch is that it’s movement makes too much noise when I move my hand. I sent them an email about it and they replied it’s just the rotor noise. I have many other automatic movement watches and none of them this kind of noise. Little disappointed in this regard.
I do agree about the rotor sound. I think at this price point they could very easily avoid that. I have bought watches that are half the price or less that do not have the rotor sound.

Great video...no apology needed. The problem with the watch is the crystal is not AR coated on both sides. The glare on these otherwise spectacular watches is really a shame and could be easily remedied. I'm on the wait list....
I asked anOrdain personally about this and they stated that the enamel also naturally reflects the light due to it being glass, so I’m not sure if they can actually fix it. I tried to call many crystal/watch shops, and they said to make a double AR crystal for this watch would be impossible. Apparently the crystals are not as simple as I once thought
Got this watch in Payne Grey in Spring 2021 after a 3 month wait. At order time I asked them to not include the seconds' hand as it not exactly a work of art in relation to the other metalwork, but more importantly, its removal allows me to focus on the beauty of the dial without the distraction of the movement of the hand.. Also, I originally selected one strap and then while waiting changed my mind but they still included my original choice as a second strap. Finally, they offered laser etching of a map of my choice on the caseback to personalize the watch and I asked them do one of my extended neighborhood. All in all a bespoke timepiece by a brand with a wonderful attention to customer service. Can't recommend them enough!

The straps are made out of shell cordovan, which is actually some of the most expensive leather.
