    I cant wait to visit there. My best friend is from Liberia. When I was younger I hung out with them all the time. The food the parties the Sunday football field was all fun and good. I'm from Minneapolis,MN and they have a big Liberia population. But the also got a lot from other African countries as well. I hope to visit all of Africa sometime soon. My best friend and all my Liberian friends always hooked me up with Liberian girls lol I was 13 messing with 16,17 and up Liberian girls and women.

    I have been following your trips since East Africa and I am excited you have embarked on a west african trip. I plan to do same across all 16 West African countries.
    Road trip with boarder hassles isn't for the weak hearted. You guys are doing a great job.
    I just returned from Sierra Leone 2 weeks ago. I would suggest you do a keke tour of freetown to see the historic sights. I captured a few of those in a highlight video.
    Sadly I wasn't able to cross to Liberia as I couldn't get a direct bus from Freetown to Monrovia.

    I believe after Sierra Leone you guys will be proceeding to Guinea Conakry. Instead of going by road you can take a seacoach boat direct from Freetown to Conakry. The boat ride is 3hrs and is direct, compared to a road trip of 6hrs with multiple stops and multiple vehicles.

    You Nigerians complain too much about how bad your economy is. But your economy may be better than that of Liberia. A liter of fuel in Liberia is 6,500 naira équivalent. The Russia Ukraine war and COVID have brought hardship globally. Africans must understand that. But with time all the various economies will do well.

      Why should Nigerians compare Nigeria with Liberia? Seriously?? That is a cheap!

      Please tell my people o. I have been to 14 African countries so far, and fuel in Nigeria is the cheapest so far.
      I just returned from Sierra Leone, where fuel is SLL 28.5 which is about 2,200 Naira per litre. Food is about SLL 70 to SLL 100 in a road side restaurant in Freetown that is double what you can get in a roadside restaurant in Nigeria.

    That calculation for the fuel is wrong fuel is cheaper in Liberia then Nigeria, that 840 Liberia dollars is for gallon of fuel which is equivalent to 4 litre....

    • @Ron-TheExplorer
      @Ron-TheExplorer หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It isn't cheaper in Liberia. A gallon (4 litres) of fuel in Nigeria is 2,600 Naira, which converts😮 to 309 Liberian Dollars much less than the 840 Liberians are paying. But it is expected as Nigeria subsidies fuel for its citizens, Liberia doesn't

    • @wisdomdwah2020
      @wisdomdwah2020 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It means if u divide 840 by 4 it gives u 210 which mean 1 litre of fuel is 210 Liberian dollars... am not trying to compare Liberia with Nigeria in term of fuel prices cus Nigeria produces oil n they are one of the highest producers of oil in the world but with the price like this is better cus Liberia dnt produces oil

  • @b.anthony8592

    On the other hand, it means that the Liberian Dollar is stronger than the Naira. 840 LD can get you a whopping 6,500 Naira? Unbelievable!

      What matters is how much you can make in comparison with what you spending on basic commodities, the Kuwait dinarh is higher than the dollar on paper but you will prefer to work and earn in America than in Kuwait.. compare a taxi driver in Morovia to a taxi driver in Lagos , who do you think will save more after paying for petrol,motor parts ,food items etc

      @@kabifest8897don’t mind this people they don’t know basic economic..they think the strength of a currency is base on exchange rate but what they don’t know is that it base on purchasing power.a country can revalue is currency to make the exchange rate to dollar look small but they are paying subsidy to International bank to that but the purchasing power is very low.look at the pride they are buying a gallon of fuel 840 Liberian dollars.which is 210 par liter and 1 usd to Liberia dollar is 195 meaning they are buying fuel at 1.1 usd and Nigeria is buying fuel lesser than 1 usd
