Wow, this battle is old xD I was the center attacking force, and... God, this is embarrassing to appear in a battle where I lost ^^ Needless to say, I was quite mad at Flameboy for bringing such a... low tier army... while the Dunedain had both fairly strong armies. Defenders held the left flank with two mid-tier units, and everything else was free to roam and kill my orcs. I should have called off the center assault and concentrated everything on the right. Nevertheless, I can tell how the sight of a goblin mob is lore-friendly and epic to watch, so whatever, as long as folks have fun watching, I'm cool ^^

You say it isn't canon, but it should be. I mean, it's the ideal underdog story. Just textbook. The Dunedain are outnumbered, their kingdoms been razed to the ground, their enemies are closing on all sides, they have nowhere left to run, they have to stand and fight to the bitter end. Manly tears, bro. Manly tears.
The Troll, who turnt into a normal Orc was actually their General. Because if you put your General in a troll unit, he is a Troll from far away but if you get closer he's the normal Orc-General. Sorry for the bad English, I'm from Germany. But good work with your videos I'm really enjoing them, keep it up :)
I really liked this third age battle. I just loved how the last archer units came in at the very end to finish the job. That was a good strategy I mean they didn't waste any ammo and they were very healthy at the very end.

Just so you know, I wrote a song dedicated especially to this glorious battle, called "Ode to the Dunedain". The tune comes from the song Tir Na Nog by Celtic Woman.
You saw that goblin dude as a Trolls because He was a general in a unit of Cave Trolls. So the computer set his shadow as a troll and you saw it so from far away, and different when you were close
Do more of Rise of Mordor please! I've never played on PC always been on console but that gameplay that you've been showing rise of Mordor has made me excited as hell for that release! It has literally got me to want to play PC, so thank you!!!
I always enjoyed the random team fights where you see sets of four that are just really random. A mix of good, neutral, and evil units so you just don't know who to really pick. Because, good vs evil, I always pick the good side. On randomly mixed sides, I don't know who to pick and so I usually stick with the side that sent in the replay.
I just wanna say It's "supporting fire" not suppressing fire. Suppressing fire is a concept that originated from WW1 I believe. It's when you use a firearm or artillery to keep the enemy pinned down

Flame boy had ALOT of goblins but in the end they were so shit that when they lost his archers lost lots of men due to the suicide charge

Drain is pronounced Dane, I won't mention other pronunciation, this is the quickest and easiest to fix

Yes but standard shot is more accurate and you shoot faster and with so manny goblin archer units it would have been a better idea
