Hi Kamran, thanks for reaching out to us. The easiest way to find out what model your pump is and if spare parts are available is by contacting your local supplier. May I ask where you are located?
      Kind regards, Sofie

Hi zenLife, thanks for your enquiry. Are you able to advise exactly which pump you are referring to and some more context for what is occurring and how long you've had the pump etc? Please also advise what country you are in so we can refer you to the right people in your location. Kind Regards, Aaron

@@grundfos a ch2-50 pump, roughly 20yrs old, I noticed water coming out the intake area, near the Allen key bolt in the iron cover, thanks

Hi zenLife, it would seem that you may need to have a plumber or installer take a look to better diagnose the problem. Once you've worked out exactly what's needed, I know we do have spare parts available for the ch2 range in Australia but I can't speak for other countries. You would need to contact your local Grundfos Service department to then purchase the part you need. If you are based in Australia, you can contact the Australian service department at auservice@grundfos.com. If you are based elsewhere just do a quick search on Google for "Grundfos (your country)" and then go to the support section of the menu at the top and click on "contact service". All the best, Aaron

@@grundfos yes I’m in Australia, have had no response from that email. What would cause it to leak out of the pin hole in the hex drain bolt (cast iron head)? Is that a mechanical seal failure or too much pressure? Have pulled pump apart, lots of sediment built up around the outlet etc. I can see a seal kit on eBay for $90 but if it’s just an O ring..thanks!

Hi zenLife, it is unusual that our service department hasn't been in contact with you. Please send a contact email and phone number to marketing-au@grundfos.com and I will pass it onto the service department and get them to contact you directly.
      Regards
      Aaron

Hi again, I would advise you to contact a trained installer where you bought the pump who can diagnose the problem and make sure the pump is installed correctly! :) This video is aimed only at skilled, trained personnel.
May I ask where you are located?

@@lawrencemasina3017 hi Lawrence. I find it helps to bleed the air out of a dry pump. On ours there is a socket near the outlet. I switch the pump on and slightly loosen the screw. You might be able to hear a hissing as the air escapes. If you see water coming by the screw tighten it back up and you should be good 👍
Also might be worth seeing if the motor is spinning in the correct direction. Look at the fan on top.
