Start game : asteroid selling, early game: bulletin board trading (like go get this or that) gives you 3m on the better ones when you have like 1m. Buy bigger cargo/hyperjump => more trade good standing. Next I don't know not there :-)
Is there any guide on how to actually start the asteroid mine up and get it making money...? Like, i can't quite understand what to do, so far all i have done is claim the asteroid and founded a mine on it (Noble Metal Mine type 1-gold+platinum). Then what...??? It'd be good to see how it works from step 1-claiming the asteroid.
I'm loving this game and it's learning curve, always loved X3, but this is better, hope they can get a real economy going in it.....Plenty of exploration with a million sectors to check/raid.....
How do you transfer goods to the factories? Can you automate moving them from your depot to the factories, or do you have to do it yourself? Or must you somehow manage your captained traders to move the goods?
so does it just take time for factories and mines to start attracting traders? does it happen outside the sector? and are mining ships supposed to work outside the sector? or do you need to be in the sector for absolutely everything to work?
@@shrikegaming9765 ok good to know. my mine is placed amongst some other competition so i'm probobly just going to have to lower it's prices. Most underrated game since the dawn of humanity
Very true, it this would be a top gaming company, it would have far more players

How do you transfer goods to the factories? Can you automate moving them from your depot to the factories, or do you have to do it yourself? Or must you somehow manage your captained traders to move the goods?
You have to do it yourself for the most part.
just got this its fun minus the damn pirates
so does it just take time for factories and mines to start attracting traders?
does it happen outside the sector?
and are mining ships supposed to work outside the sector?
or do you need to be in the sector for absolutely everything to work?
They start getting traders right away. You don't have to be in sector for them to work. As long as you have cargo space they will run and crew.
