  • Brought my DJI Phantom 3 Pro on a 4 day roadtrip to western Norway. The video starts in Ustaoset close to Geilo moving on to some famous places starting with Vøringsfossen, Trolltunga, Preikestolen and Kjeragbolten. In total this was a 60km walk. All places were filmed at a time of day with very little people to not disturb too many.

    I have been several times to Norway. In the South, Cape North, Lofoten. Never get bored, feel always like a child when I drive through this magnificant country, so overwhelming. And when I am not there and see this kind of movies, I feel homesick. There must be a Viking deep inside of me. Greetings from Holland.

      @@ingebite living in Norway all my life and been to Sweden hundreds of times, I can agree that Norway has much more to offer when it comes to nature experiences. Tall and steep mountains straight into deep fjords are quite unique. But Sweden is also a nice place. Try a Google image search for "Sarek valley" and I think you will agree :)

    Thank you for sharing this incredible beauty with us. As a flat-lander boy, I could only read about and imagine what his might look like for real. Fortunately there was an author of books who focused on stories of the Merchant Marine in and around Norway’s coastal waters. I swore that one day I would see them for real. Many years later, with the help of a Norwegian shopkeeper I was able to do that. It was everything I could ever hope for - a boyhood dream finally realized. Thanks for letting me relive those moments.

      @austevik1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tor Andre Børresen true. I always get more "views" on facebook than on youtube. Alot of them is very short views as you say. To get a million views today on youtube you have to be a large channel and have unique and never before seen video I guess.

    • @TorAndreBrresen
      @TorAndreBrresen  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And since Facebook and google who owns TH-cam are competing they block TH-cam links from being seen on Facebook unless you promote. I can do a million views on my WRC video's with help from lots of pages, helps when Valentino Rossi shares your video but can't count on that every time ;)

    That's a busy treck from my experience. There's always a queue for that rock. Everyone in line would be fuming as he would be taking his sweet time with his drone.

    • @TorAndreBrresen
      @TorAndreBrresen  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's not always a queue if you're clever and go there in the evening, 5 min wait to get on the rock when i was there so everyone could take their time, i only sat on the rock flying for 2min. 3 hours before i got there it was a 2 hour wait.

    Natures very best. A trip on the Hertigruten to the North cape and beyond, opened up the natural beauty of this incredible part of our world.

    Absolutely great. I doubt that I would be able to go anywhere near any of those vertiginous drops physically. This video enables me to see this spectacular country with a lot less discomfort.
    Well-flown drone videos let the viewers see much more than they could ever see on foot, or even as passengers in a full size aircraft.
    Besides which, in 2020 under strict lockdown, I'll probably be too old by the time I can travel overseas again.
