Personally lovesick girls was one of their best comebacks and I adore the song SO MUCH but I wasn’t a fan of ice cream or hylt (but all the visuals were stunning) and all the album tracks are good!! Their fashion was fantastic too. But I genuinely don’t like any of their choreo except for a select few, i KNOW yg can do better bc blackpink is very capable of dancing more complicated choreo, they’re very talented. The thing that always stops them from from being my number one or in my top 3 is the choreo which sucks but they’re still amazing and you’re right they did serve this year!!
Yg groups in general have always had simple choreos, cuz that's not h thing they prioritize 🤷♀️ Their stage presence is enough, even without perfect choreography
@@rubyjane2677 ur right about the first part I did notice that with yg groups but fourth gen has very much emphasized the dancing aspect of kpop so you can see it more with even third gen groups now (Ex. Twice, first one that came to mind. It’s not that twice ever had bad choreo it’s that it’s a lot more interesting and “difficult” now if u get what I mean). Even if a group has stage presence if they barely do anything interesting dance wise it gets boring for me, and I don’t believe that blackpink has as much stage presence as bigbang and 2ne1 have, but that’s just me. I get bored watching their live stages unlike the others as often because dancing is one of my favorite parts of kpop. Also it’s just annoying to me considering that we *know* they’re good dancers and can show off more of their skills.
@@americxno fr choreo wouldve one of bp's best suits if yg thought of giving them proper choreo instead of just mediocre, boring ass choreo. their choreos from debut to aiiyl were really interesting and fun to see, although they are not that difficult but still, they had that unique feeling that made u stick to watching how the choreo unfolds. but starting from square up though.... they sticked with the point choreo, lets just say alot are not a fan of it. they delivered rlly good and fairly difficult choreos through their bsides though, like forever young and dkwtd, but pretty savage on the other hand... girl they need to burn down the choreo of that song it sucks ASS

But I genuinely don’t like any of their choreo except for a select few, i KNOW yg can do better bc blackpink is very capable of dancing more complicated choreo, they’re very talented. The thing that always stops them from from being my number one or in my top 3 is the choreo which sucks but they’re still amazing and you’re right they did serve this year!!
Yg groups in general have always had simple choreos, cuz that's not h thing they prioritize 🤷♀️ Their stage presence is enough, even without perfect choreography
@@rubyjane2677 ur right about the first part I did notice that with yg groups but fourth gen has very much emphasized the dancing aspect of kpop so you can see it more with even third gen groups now (Ex. Twice, first one that came to mind. It’s not that twice ever had bad choreo it’s that it’s a lot more interesting and “difficult” now if u get what I mean). Even if a group has stage presence if they barely do anything interesting dance wise it gets boring for me, and I don’t believe that blackpink has as much stage presence as bigbang and 2ne1 have, but that’s just me. I get bored watching their live stages unlike the others as often because dancing is one of my favorite parts of kpop. Also it’s just annoying to me considering that we *know* they’re good dancers and can show off more of their skills.

@@americxno fr choreo wouldve one of bp's best suits if yg thought of giving them proper choreo instead of just mediocre, boring ass choreo. their choreos from debut to aiiyl were really interesting and fun to see, although they are not that difficult but still, they had that unique feeling that made u stick to watching how the choreo unfolds. but starting from square up though.... they sticked with the point choreo, lets just say alot are not a fan of it. they delivered rlly good and fairly difficult choreos through their bsides though, like forever young and dkwtd, but pretty savage on the other hand... girl they need to burn down the choreo of that song it sucks ASS
