Wendy actually is the first one to take the pizza delivery guys hand (so all five members APPEAR to try to help him.) If you notice all five girls have no problem with deathly images (the weapons don't faze them). The most likely theory is that the five members sacrifice pizza guys to keep their youth and beauty by capturing them.
Why delivery guys? They are young, hormonal, and probably don't care for their job, until they come upon a house with five beautiful young women that shower him with affection.
Four of the five girls are dressed identically and they open their eyes at the same time, often moving as a unit.
As for Wendy, who is dressed differently, it's been suggested that the mv is based upon a survival horror video game called Emily Wants to Play. Wendy is apparently taking the role of Emily. She is the cult leader (which is why she has a different dress) - you don't see her interact with the delivery guy the same way the other four girls do.
Remember the scene where Irene is "shaving" Seulgi? Well, it's obvious that she is practicing using the razor for when they get their sacrifice (Seulgi has no facial hair so doesn't need shaving.) It is likely this is an homage to Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber - and in fact she also has a cut on her face like Sweeney.
As for the scene when they place gems on a pizza - they movements are almost like a chess game. In many ways there are games being played throughout the mv (and in away that's what the girls are doing with their victims). Another clue is that the first pizza guy is allowed to escape in his car. If you notice the moon, it is not quite full, which means the time isn't quite right, so they let him go.
In another shot Irene is calling in a pizza order while the moon is moving in the painting. You also see them feeding the delivery guy like a pig at a trough (blindfolded eating the jello). He believes it is an initiation to the group (while they know it is preparation for the sacrifice.
At one point, the delivery guy "peeks through a curtain" - but they catch him. He also takes Joy's place on the table - they knew he would spy and used Joy as bait - so now the ritual is complete.
Now of course this is just a theory but seems to be the most accepted one - and it makes the most sense.
RedVelvet is on another level I no competition they are literally the best out there when we say discogaphy and mvs.

Regarding Irene’s contract renewal, sm likes to media play a lot and the renewal isn’t due in at least another year, basically trying to win the public’s opinion before anything happens, regardless Red Velvet are having a comeback on the 13th of next month! So we can still expect new music to be excited about! Great video by the way!!
They are playing with the pizza (jewel cushion, house, stacks of boxes) because _it isn't food to them._ The pizza boys are the food, and the shirts are trophies. --> You noticed Wendy's outfit with the red set...but what you (and several commentors) missed is that _one of the members is _*_always_*_ dressed differently._ Seulgi in only blue stripes when the rest are rainbow. You noticed Irene's sparkly dress when the rest are wearing black, but didn't connect the dots. SOOOO CLOSE! It's all dreamlike and hallucinogenic, all of them are in this together, but there's one splinter of their combined "self" that disagrees...but _which_ self that is may change without warning! As shown when the "helper" leading the pizza boy to "escape" changed several times. Even that may be a hallucination, as all five were standing on the porch while pizza boy and "helper" ran away.

Another theory that maybe fills in parts of the story.. The girls are part of a dead coven, that resurrecting the members. The only one that is still alive is Irene, and is the only one that can leave the grounds. This sacrifice will be for Joy. The jewels are a representation of the delivery boys souls, and went the large one is made, it is time for a sacrifice. In every outfit change, one of the girls is slightly different, showing they have done this ritual different times.
This is what RV excels at, matching up a spooky concept with a bouncy, happy, "red" beat
