Hi! 😊 I hope you’re all doing well. 🙂 What about you? What kind of breakfast do you have? Or do you skip it altogether? 🤔 Thank you for spending time with me! 💛
My breakfast always starts with my one cup of coffee a day. But the remainder of the meal will be dependent on what's on the agenda for the day and the weather. Today gusting winds called for oatmeal with raisons, pecans and some honey from Switzerland. Fortifying to venture outside to bring in tender potted plants and covering other perrineals for tonight's 29F forecast. The first of winter's below freezing temps. Oh, appreciate your and Ms. Z's recipes. I have made a few and they were delicious. Greetings from N. Carolina, USA
It was lovely to see your nasturtiums….mine succumbed to the cold and snow here in the UK. Breakfast is homemade muesli with milk, topped with a banana, and a cappuccino.
Thank you again for sharing. The colours of the trees! Just so beautiful. Were you employing drone to help you taking the view from the sky? Nice work 👍
Thank you so much for your comment. 😊 Yes, the colors of nature are truly spectacular at this time of year.🍂 And I fully agree with that quote by Albert Camus. Indeed, I used a drone this time, and it was worth it. Thanks again, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I would really like to know how that Bosco d'estate tastes! Is it only black tea? I use to have green tea+ginger+orange and bread with marmelade! Beautiful footages of the woods! My mum gave me today some cavolo nero from her veggie yard, i usually use it in soups but never cooked it with orzo. I will have a try! Enjoy rest of the week, snow is expected tonight here, I think in your area too!
Hi Lara, I'll tell you the composition of the blend: black tea from Ceylon, South India and China, elderberries, blackberry, pieces of strawberry and raspberry. We bought it in Trento. Yes, the landscapes are beautiful, and above all, I have them here at my fingertips, I leave the house and without taking any vehicle I start my walk. In fact, the traditional Tuscan recipes are different but it is also suitable for being cooked in other ways, and I like this one a lot. In fact, it should snow here too, we'll see tomorrow morning, for now nothing. Thank you very much for your comment, I'm happy that you liked it and found it interesting. Have a good weekend! 😊
@fifthfloorgarden the tea sounds really delicious ! You are very lucky to have such a beautiful place next home ! Oh I didn't remember about ribollita toscana, It has cavolo nero and it's sooo good 😋
Such beautiful, colorful landscapes! 🍂♥️ And your kale looks amazing. 👏 I‘ve never tried tuscan kale before, so now I am curious and want to find and cook the dish you showed in your video. It looked very very tasty. 😊👌
Thanks Ina, I really appreciate your comment. 😊 The colors are out there, we just have to go and pick them. It's all very beautiful, and I think the Camus quote is extremely appropriate. It's the first time I planted kale and for being in a pot it seems to have grown very well. As for black kale, it is typical of Tuscany. It is very resistant, last year in March I let it flower for the bees. You can find it with various names, here it is called "cavolo nero" (black kale) but in English it is also called Tuscan kale, lacinato kale, black cabbage and even dinosaur kale. In German Schwarzkohl. As you have seen the recipe is very simple but good. Greetings to your friends in the woods.
