  • Welcome! Thank you so much for being here! I appreciate you and hope you learn new things while having some fun with me. I finally put together a tutorial on how to hang those gorgeous double sided blooms on glass. No lie, it took some thought, effort, research and time to figure out a secure, attractive design to allow these to hang and spin freely so that both sides could be seen. While I do not recommend hanging these in direct sunlight due to the epoxy yellowing effect of the sun, a bright window is perfect for these. I tried very hard to get all the information together and present it in a simple manner but no one is perfect. If you have questions or need clarification, please leave a comment so I can help you! My first piece of advise it to relax and try not to overthink this process. Even if you've never made jewelry, this is easy, I PROMISE! With the recommended tools and materials, you too can wrap your glass blooms quickly and fuss-free.
I used JB WELD light activated adhesive but another brand may work just as well, I haven't tried any other light cured adhesives. I have had my jewelry making tools for many years, have no idea where and when I bought them but I know they are available at all crafting supply store as well as amazon and walmart. I am not affiliated with any of these outlets so I won't post links but I'm sure we all know how to search sites and stores for what we want. I do love the 3mm aluminum wire I bought at Hobby Lobby and highly recommend it. You will want sharp wire cutters, a jewelry bending plier or something that works as well, smooth grip jewelry pliers and some fishing wire for hanging, otherwise known as monofilament. Get a medium strength version because glass is heavy and it will be spinning.

Great tutorial for this! I thought you would have to put the glue under the band but I like how you did it around the edge part. Great tips in here!

Thanks! My original attempts were thick adhesive so they needed to go under the band. That's what's so great about the light cure adhesive!
