The truck driver had to quit his job because he couldn’t deal with people, and he to has PTSD problems as most of the witnesses do now.

It always freaks me out to think about how uncertain everything really is. You always expect to be part of the crowd, in a sense. Like you expect to finish school, maybe get married, start a family and die peacefully of old age. You think you have all this time to do these things when really you could go at any second. Be it a freak accident or something like this, you're really just so unaware of it all.

This is the first one thats actually rocked me, and I think it's because there was no motive behind it. The guy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, not knowing that day when he woke he would be brutally murdered like that. The fact it went on for so long is pretty terrifying too. I noticed even when I was typing this my hands were shaking a bit, can't imagine how the passengers and officers got on with their lives after this horrific ordeal.

So this happened when I was immigrating to Canada, me and my father who lived in Canada were planning my trip which included taking a greyhound as the town I was moving to only had a greyhound station and nothing else. Then this happened, next day I get a email from my dad who is frugal and had splashed extra to get me over in an alternative way. I have also taken the route McLean took and the security on hand was as strong then any airport. I then moved to Winnipeg much later and actually loved 10 minutes away from Vince Li

Just read up further on the case, and I found this bit interesting. According to the diagnosis, Vince was convinced that God himself was telling him that the Tim was a demon sent to execute him. So vince actually believed he was acting in self Defense at the time. Of course we can never truly know what is happening in someone else’s mind, let alone someone with serious mental health problems, but this is probably as close as we can get to understanding the motivation.

The driver was able to get back to the controls and she opened the back door so the other passengers could leave. NONE stayed behind to help the two woman. There was multiple grown ass men on that bus and not one had balls to help these woman. The piece of shit had NO weapons yet noone helped. The driver was the one to report to base asking for assistance. This story made me see RED. All it takes is for ONE to intervene and people WILL follow. There was enough passengers on the bus to each grab a limb or plain knock this P.O.S out
The fact that no one helped him is really saddening, if I saw someone stabbing someone I’d jump in and help immediately. Imagine if you was the person being stabbed whilst everyone’s just running away.
I see what you mean but as said on the podcast there were children on there who of course had parents or carers with them and I don’t think they would risk their life because that child would need them to recover from what they just saw. Also the killer was in a rage and of someone tried to attack him he’d probably turn around and stab them as well he probably wouldn’t of felt much pain if not at all in that state .
