One of the only true crime cases that makes me feel physically sick
Same
Watched dozens and dozens of murder shows, some very gruesome but just hearing this story made me feel nauseous over a murder for the very first time
@@rickygoupille8050 yeah same! First time hearing and it didnt sound real
Me too! I watched the whole story of the case she told a few years ago and still I think about it
same m8
That part about him showing the passengers the head made me so sick. They must have been scarred for life
Bi Cycle Apparently most of them could stop vomiting. One of the police officers also later killed himself as the event gave him PTSD. Was fucked up
A passenger, a mother, lost her child because her mental state broke down after the incident, and child services deemed her unfit to be a parent. At least the child’s grandmother was granted custody of the child, and they both are raising the child together. The truck driver had to quit his job because he couldn’t deal with people, and he to has PTSD problems as most of the witnesses do now.
@@Bipbapbop_ Also those kids who saw that, imagine being so young and seeing that
@@ShonenCentral_ Ugh :( that's so goddamn sad...
would've never happened if they'd acted like decent human beings and intervened. 50 people afraid of taking on one man? could've saved that guys life.
The scariest thing about this to me is that Tim would’ve had no incling the day before that that would happen to him. I know that’s obvious but it really freaks me out when I think about that stuff
Yeah it's kind of fucked up to think about, he probably had a plan for what he was gonna do later in the evening, he was just going to get on a bus, like a normal person. It's crazy to think that tomorrow could be our last day and we wouldn't know
It always freaks me out to think about how uncertain everything really is. You always expect to be part of the crowd, in a sense. Like you expect to finish school, maybe get married, start a family and die peacefully of old age. You think you have all this time to do these things when really you could go at any second. Be it a freak accident or something like this, you're really just so unaware of it all.
Isabel L yeah exactly. I’m always paranoid and thinking that I could go at any minute but at the same time subconsciously I think that I won’t. It’s pretty scary to think about
What freaks me out is Vince likely didnt either. Any of us could be the next Tim of Vince, and we'd be none the wiser.
@@s1lverbullet1234 exactly, you hear about all these horrifying cases but reassure yourself that it wouldn’t happen to you, but one day it could be your murder is the case that someone else is frightened by. You really have no certainty in anything.
I know this isn’t relevant but I like her Rex Orange County jumper
Robbie Askew ahahaha I was thinking that too
Robbie Askew wow you’re so indie
It's always relevant
I thought it said sex change
@@Jaydeeboy169COD I cant name a single rex orange county song. So im not a salty fan but they didn't say anything about how indie they were and their music being "different". So you didn't have any reason to respond with a sarcastic comment.
It’s weird seeing the difference in comment section in Eleanors videos they’re talking ab her make up or what she’s wearing bc they’re used to hearing these things but in this comment section ppl are talking ab the case and they’re shocked. It’s mad
Ooo your cool. #crackhead energy
Ooo look at me I’m desensitised to murder and weird
how is the killer a free man tho? Like wtf
exactly I can't believe it
He was discharged in 2017
Our justice system in Canada is a joke
@The MightyKid our guards are a joke
@@xandermohan6331 but surely he should be in a hospital even if he got a NGRI?
Am I the only one who thinks Stevie and Eleanor look like they could be brother and sister?
I mean your not wrong
@@nokiaverse yeah but you are
Bro what
Niki Nik it’s ‘you’re’
Haha definitely!
Crime story:
Jack: WOWWWWW, that’s unbelievable.
Sheesh here in America dude would’ve been shot dead by the first cop they really waited 4 hours after he killed someone
Damn..
But in alot of insistence in a psychotic episode, you feel nothing, pain wise, so if they shot him in the chest he might of hurt someone in that time before he died, they would have had to shoot him in the heart or head.however they could have shot through the bus window so...I guess everyone was panicking
@@Luna-dv5uz probably cuz their law enforcement had zero experience in real shit🤷🏽♂️should have done right by the family and killed that sick man.
Yeah you're right, if this did happen in America he would've been shot as soon as police got there. Especially seeing that he had been gutting and eating tim
One of the guys on the bus probably would of shot him if it were the USA. I don't understand, do the Canadian police force just not have guns. I don't think guns should be given to regular civilians but surely for the police force for dangerous situations such as this. Tim could of lived in all of this if this were in America, I would of popped his head off if I had a gun
This is the first one thats actually rocked me, and I think it's because there was no motive behind it. The guy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, not knowing that day when he woke he would be brutally murdered like that. The fact it went on for so long is pretty terrifying too. I noticed even when I was typing this my hands were shaking a bit, can't imagine how the passengers and officers got on with their lives after this horrific ordeal.
This is the first one that made me feel just physically sick
as soon as you said greyhound bus i knew what this was. we talked about this in my law class. everyone flew into a fit of rage when our teacher told us he was free
Seems like a lovely bloke.
-Canadian judicial system
Would love to drink a pint with him
I'm gonna have PTSD everytime I go on a bus now. Brilliantly presented story bot oh god I wish it was fictional. Bless the family
they lied o out how the story went, if you want a description from a person sitting in front of the murder search “bus beheading witness”
This murder made me feel sick.
‘That is the killing of Tim McLean’
*Happy hour theme tune plays*
loving these
Tell me y i spent half an hour tryna find the podcast of this that don’t exist
Sam Sheppard nah they are clips that were meant to go out in happy hourween last year
spent 30 mins trying to find something.... can't spend 0.3 seconds spelling 'why' instead of 'y'
@@HarrisonTBr0wn gonna be generous and say maybe their h key was broken?
C.o.R (Lex) how on earth did they manage to spell half, hour, the, this and that with broken h key? impressive
The boys are just silent the entire story compared to her other videos🤣🤣🤣
we NEEEEED aan episode dedicated to just this!!!
Eleanor has done a case on this
Charrmandurp Durp oh great thanks, but I mean with the lads and all yk, isn’t the same atmosphere without them 🤣
What's even more mental is the officer that went on to the bus that Eleanor mentioned actually ended up killing himself after retiring in 2014 due to PTSD from the incident
Should have her on the show all the time, these vids are mad
These true crime podcast shorts are so interesting, I really hope you have Eleanor on again.
What’s with these killers and their obsession with cutting their victim’s flesh out or cutting their body apart after killing them
because they're sick
Police should be much stricter, people like that should be killed much brutally, Hanging them or burning them should be the punishment, not 10 bloody years in a asylum
Magical Beaver he had undiagnosed schizophrenia so he didn’t get treatment he needed
For Vincent; he thought God was talking to him, and God told him to dispose of the body. Eating it was the only way for him to do so while trapped on the bus
@@fv8276 dude he just refused to take his medicine which was his responsibility
'' And this is the killing of Tim Mclean''
''DU DU DE DU DOO DE DOO''
R.I.P Tim
Ok that was actually disgusting. I felt physically sick hearing that.
Love the variety with these podcasts, enjoy every one. Keep it up guys
Loving these so far
I’d love if all of these were posted in along one I’d binge watch it
someone tell me why im watching this at 1:16am when i KNOW the story and KNOW i wont sleep after
Very weird so am I...
Loving these jaack. Keep it up
Currently waiting for a bus that’s an hour late so watching this to pass the time.
Watching a video about someone getting stabbed and eaten on a bus while waiting for a bus? You've some guts
Aimée jokes on me I got sick from waiting on a bus in the sun with no water
Why did the people on the bus just attack the guy stabbing the other guy
They won't give a shit unless it's thier own family.
because they were petrified???
I'm sorry, I'm a pathetic spindly woman but I don't think I could live with myself unless I attempted to help in some way. I'm not sure how I would respond, but I just know I would have to do something. It's not in my nature to stand by while people get hurt.
Shannon B agreed. All they needed was to distract him enough so Tim could get away. At the very least they could have thrown a bag or something at him.
You know the van driver had a metal bar right he could of hit the crazy guy in the face
So this happened when I was immigrating to Canada, me and my father who lived in Canada were planning my trip which included taking a greyhound as the town I was moving to only had a greyhound station and nothing else.
Then this happened, next day I get a email from my dad who is frugal and had splashed extra to get me over in an alternative way.
I have also taken the route McLean took and the security on hand was as strong then any airport.
I then moved to Winnipeg much later and actually loved 10 minutes away from Vince Li
Of all the snippets you guys have uploaded of this podcast this was the only one I’d never heard of before. So shocking. Thanks for the entertainment
Welp, I'm not getting on any form of public transport for a while
bro please keep doing this paranormal stuff, crime etc. You guys make it very funny and entertaining, and also know how to listen and create an atmosphere, Plus you can tell you guys get actually spooked and are interested.. Keep it up.
love these vids man keep it up bro
Loving this true crime series
The fact that someone who views this lives near or has seen the person before is terrifying
Imagine being on the bus and seeing it.
Ughhhh. Eleanor is literally amazing at what she does. The best in the community.
Great vids keep up the great podcasts
Love this series
Love these
I love this girls story telling and knowledge about true crime ! Gotta check her out on her own now!
I love this series !!
I literally cannot fucking believe that this guy was released and never even tried in court. This has to the worst miscarriage of justice I have ever had the unfortunate experience of hearing about.
These are incredible.
I’m loving this
Well I'm never going to Canada
Great to watch while eating
It really is really great if your eating meat!
This is one case that gave me chills. Think I've read about it before. Seems familiar to me.
I live for this series
this one gave me chills
Love these stories!
He knew this corona virus was coming he was actually chanting this toilet roll be worth millions in the future
Scary thing is that he’s out among us and with a new name god knows where
He is in Manitoba with the name Will Lee Baker.
The fact he was released in 2015 is insane to me
She tells such a good story
Read into this case a couple years ago. Not being medicated whilst having extreme schizophrenia is unbelievably dangerous.
I can’t sleep tonight it won’t get out of my mind
I was just watching Eleanor videos
Me too!
Just read up further on the case, and I found this bit interesting. According to the diagnosis, Vince was convinced that God himself was telling him that the Tim was a demon sent to execute him. So vince actually believed he was acting in self Defense at the time. Of course we can never truly know what is happening in someone else’s mind, let alone someone with serious mental health problems, but this is probably as close as we can get to understanding the motivation.
Doesnt justify killing a person
Did it ever occur to anyone that there are people out there with sick fetishes about killing someone and pleading insanity to get away with it? It looks like this was premeditated ro me. He brought the knife and plastic bags, he sold his laptop, he scanned to entire bus looking for an easy target like a sleeping young man oblivious to his surroundings, he barricaded himself from police. He obviously knew he was doing wrong. I believe he will reoffend it's only a matter of time. The Canadian government is just as guilty for letting this POS go free
@@christined9210 could be true
@@leifixan_1961 Ovbiously not but but thats to our sane mind. To him he was getting divine intervention from god. crazy shit schizophrenia.
He died a month and a half after I was born, poor man.
it’s scary how just cos he smiled at him that he is now dead
I just saw the photos of the crime scene, it’s absolutely horrific.
The fact that no one helped him is really saddening, if I saw someone stabbing someone I’d jump in and help immediately. Imagine if you was the person being stabbed whilst everyone’s just running away.
I see what you mean but as said on the podcast there were children on there who of course had parents or carers with them and I don’t think they would risk their life because that child would need them to recover from what they just saw. Also the killer was in a rage and of someone tried to attack him he’d probably turn around and stab them as well he probably wouldn’t of felt much pain if not at all in that state .
Course you would lad, everyone thinks they'll be a hero until they are actually in a life or death situation
Easy to say that over the internet
Jason Maher I’ve been in a situation where someone was being stabbed in Birmingham, me and two others jumped in and luckily only one of us were hurt.
That’s bollocks
Love Happy Hour and Eleanor so these videos are great, one thing though: Vincent Li is schizophrenic and was unmedicated at the time of Tim's murder. Not that I'm excusing his actions, I just think that there's a difference between someone who commits a crime because they're truly evil and someone who commits a crime because they're severely mentally ill. Hope you guys are good~
for the record I don't think he should be a free man, anyone who can do something like this while not taking their meds should 100% be in a place where someone can make sure he takes them consistently...
@@allyh7075 Right and how can they truly be sure he'll take his meds once he's out
@@Luna-dv5uz yeah i agree, i think people who show such violent tendencies when they're off their meds should have to live somewhere secure where he can have support but also have someone checking he's taking them properly
Please just upload the full podcast!!! I normally ignore the clips to watch the full podcast but I’m losing patience as I love true crime shit
There isn't a full one.. there is just clips
"HAPPY HOUR" PODCAST
Love how she says COACH - - - Coooooooouuuuuuuch
Big fan 💙
This is why you never look at someone when they’re looking for a seat on the bus
This is so different then what all the Canadian news channels say
He wasn’t a psychopath, he was schizophrenic which was untreated and believed he was acting in self defence at God’s command. He was unwell. It’s just tragic all around.
This is a true story I actually just watched the news report the other day.
Scary to think that one day he might snap again and do the same thing. Wow. I wonder if he thinks about what he did often?
If it was a psychotic epsisode he probably doesn't remember or sees it as almost like a bad dream and not real
There are actually pictures online of what the victim looked like after the attack, I just found them by accident and it’s so weird
Is it scary?
Those photos are not of Tim McLean if you’re referring to the Reddit post where OP named the victim “Bill McLean”.
where do i find the full podcast of all these like true crimes on Happy Hour
Thanks happy hour for curing my lockdown depression
Thanks this is my highest liked comment
Georgekillerz 12 I’m worried if that has cured ur depression
It bloody has
So typical of Canadians to not try and intervene. Surprised they weren't filming it on their mobile phones
I love jack's reaction, "OH MY FUCKING GOD"
These episodes are sick
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ELEANOR WAS ON HERE
release full ep
these true crimes have been great
when is this pod getting released
the ‘Happy Hour podcast’ talking about murder lol
When’s the full episode?
"Eventually police got there but at this point they didn't want to go in because there was no saving Tim" Woaww!! He's got no feckin heid on his shooders
His new name is Will Lee Baker....
I need to stop watching these whilst eating
This is q very happy podcast
You should get Eleanor on to talk about the James Bulger case
He’s out??? That’s some fkn scary shit. Omg.
Always knew there was a reason why I found busses creepy 🤢
Nice
omg this is crazy rip
Li jumped out of a rear bus window before he was tased. RCMP never entered the greyhound before that.
Once you pop, you just can't stop...
