They were actually one star (C.Judd 3 votes) off winning the 2010 grand Final, if they had chosen Chris Judd as their no.2 pick in the 2001 AFL Draft instead of Luke Ball they would have won this Grand Final and maybe another one, but we will never know. The decisions made at the draft can sometimes come back to haunt clubs years later, in hindsight this was a major error also noting Judd won a 2nd Brownlow in 2010 in a Carlton side that finished 8th after he missed the 1st 3 rounds because of the "pressure point" suspension.

You could look at it the other way too and say what if they took a spud instead of dal santo in that super draft because he went much lower than ball and was twice the player.
They do realise he coached longer at Fremantle than St kilda right? Why’s it always about st kilda. Pretty successful minor premiers and grand final appearance but that’s not talked about. Fremantle only mentioned when regards to rebuilding
What he did for the Dockers is arguably more important than a flag - he altered the culture of a club that was striving for relevance in its own city... and it looks as though he's sown some really good seeds for their immediate future.

I always say it, no one feels bad anytime Collingwood lose, especially in Grand Finals. In fact, most people will enjoy it.. i believe there's a song about it. This is opposed to when some other clubs fall short on the big stage, people who are supporters of other clubs may at least think 'ah bummer, I wanted them to win'.
I’m a Geelong fan and I’m glad we won but Zac Dawson player really good that game considering he had food poisoning which is crazy that he still played in a big grand final against a good geelong team

I don’t think anyone who thinks Milne could have got that ball has ever step footy on a footy field when your weight is transitioned on one side and your running a different line to the ball that then bounces at a right angle there is no way in hell your gonna get it who do you think is a better judge of getting to a footy the greatest small forward in the history of the game or you clowns.....honestly just shut up

It's also just understanding in AFL terms....at a match the crowd can walk off for a beer, or a pie etc during the game...players can't. Bit like DJ life or exhibition date....have to have X amount of canvas ready hung on time etc. Just different. Not better. No hierarchy but just understand most people go to a footy game or a music festival on their time off from a day job....but vice versa, whilst it is your relax social time, it is our work time. Just different schedules across different codes and creative forms xx❤

If you've ever felt the pressure on a micro or macro pay increase or get pulled up the ranks from a traineeship to a full time employee or a wedding DJ to book a bar or nightclub....same feelings just I am nderstand my past probably looks very glamorous superficially....trust me.....if I could...never would of wasted my 20s in music industry with bullimeia, self hate and toxicity when I could if been doing something practical like become a tradie. Hindsight is a cruel mistress but hey....no looking back..just flex harder forward xx
