With all our electronic devices, these are a boon during a power outage to keep those devices charged, especially cell phones. They are also great for their main purpose of starting a vehicle. Well worth the cost. Great review.
I have the same model just got it for Christmas so I'm testing out the charging ports so my iPhone uses a usb c charger but I have tried using on the usb c connector on this hpbs 5000A and doesn't charge my phone but if I use usb fast charger port it works . Can u let know what I have to do to use usb c charger so it can work for my phone
I'm an Android guy so I'm not sure about iPhone chargers. I thought iPhones were "lightning" ports? Is yours a USB C to Lightning? or is it something else? I have no trouble charging USBC to USBC Are you sure your cable is good?
Hi I have the HPBS 3000A model when I charge it with the charging cable to 100% once I disconnect the charging cable it drops to around 98% is that the way it should be?
I don't think so. I would think that it would remain at 100% until it's first use. Does it maintain the 98% or does it gradually discharge with nothing connected?
I mean you’re spending alot of time just talking, why not just test The damn thing on a battery that is actually flat cant be that hard. You’re calling yourself “skinner’s 100% honest reviews” i dont know about you, but to be honest a Channel name that Will suit you better is “skinner’s talking about sponsored products” even a german sherperd could have done that better, sorry not sorry…
Thanks for watching and leaving a detailed comment. Let me tell you why I don't use a flat battery... I've done more than 2 dozen jumpstarters and I know these things forward and backward and sometimes I can "over talk" giving a bunch of information that isn't included in the owners manual. Sometimes that is helpful and useful other times people just don't care to know they just want to see it work. I also know that charging, discharging and Jumping batteries drastically reduces the life of a battery and the cost of replacement far exceeds the value of one of these little jumpers. I know that still does not show the jumper "in action" but it does explain why I don't use it on a flat battery.

Happy new years!
My LED flash red and green when I plug the smart jump cable. Do you know what happen?
Make sure the jumper is completely charged and try it again then connect it to your battery and see if it goes to a steady green light
