I don't care what anyone says, John Garcia is God amonst men. I've introduced so many friends to Kyuss, Slo Burn, and Unida. A lot of them say they can't get over his voice. I don't understand personally. He is so unique and talented. Especially in Unida. That is when his singing voice really came alive.
He is what I couldn’t get my head around with Kyuss, then I saw Queens in 06 and he came out and did 3 or 4 Kyuss tunes with them and it killed. I saw them with Babes in Toyland and Faith No More, but it wasn’t until the last few years before I REALLY got it.
@@penfifteen666 Yeah it was pretty epic when John sang with Queens. It's not that I don't understand why people feel this way, I'm a huge Primus fan and Les's voice isn't for everyone. It's like how I've always liked Rush for their complexity and talent but I didn't like Geddy Lee's voice at first either, but it grew on me. I'm glad Garcia grew on you. And man, what a time to be alive... Babes, Kyuss, and FNM? Great show to be sure.
I'm pretty sure he's trippin nuts homie and also fairly certain he was intentionally speaking gibberish because it's most likely half the fans in attendance didn't understand a word they were saying anyway. I very well could be completely wrong too
@@chriswilcox2115read somewhere before that the gibberish followed by the very clear “Hutch” is a signal to their sound guy named Hutch to boost John’s mic
This is my best attempt at transcribing this amazing intro: "Aiagh, snr gys ln bit gnna shn gnna shn sh sn gnna gnna a shn sh... a gnna shin snong a ding shng uhm... hutch." (Posting here for my future needs as well as anybody else's. 😉)
@@SSJTrunks45 Probably faking. He clearly said "Hutch". It was a thing they did when people in the band couldn't hear themselves correctly. They will just slur words and say Hutch, to indicate they couldn't hear things and Hutch (the soundman) needed to check it.
Ok so you won't find a bigger fan of Josh than me, but you've got to give it as well to the rest of the band. Drums & bass create fantastic groove and Garcia is raw as always
I Totally agree with all the comments about KYUSS My Opinion that I Expressed to my Son was If Black Sabbath had of begun in 1989/90 They would have been KYUSS 💪👍👍🍻 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
John Garcia at the start sounds like every pilot on planes
He sounds like he effing stoned... but sings perfectly right after 😮
Because he's flying
How could he managed to sing perfectly after that drunk af speech?? Genius.
@@ols-c6410 Lot of practice
I don't want to be on a plane this guy is flying but I'd listen to kyuss the entire way
Kyuss never made any sense...they were just fucking awesome.
Man, Garcia's so high someone shoulda hand him a parachute :D Best announcement in the whole history of announcements.
2:52 the dude in the back makes the "Oh shit dude, this is fucking cool, i approve this " when that groovie riff hits
@3:48 How about this one, in the back, fucking YAWNING during Hommes' solo?
God I love Kyuss!!
When you rub the magic lamp and out comes the genie, that's kyuss
It’s just Deep Purple played by hobos: my dad, 1996
HAHAHAHA
my dad saw deep purple back in the day, said almost went deaf that night.. they super crank their amps
I FUCKING LOVE AND IDOLIZE Kyuss but your dad is right!

That’s gotta be the funniest comparison I’ve ever heard with Kyuss 😂
He‘s Right 😂

Sometimes when I'm feeling sad I just come here to listen to John Garcia's voice and I'm smiling in no time.
3:12 Jeeeezus christ that is groovy
Snapped my neck head banging

Scott Reeder is absolutely killing it! I love Kyuss!
Such a simplistic, yet defining sound to them.
How hasn’t the instrumental been used in a modern fantasy/sci fi movie? It speaks of climatic, redemptive vengeance
Highly underrated Band
Smashing band.
The 90s were fucking boss. ✊
Best riff in music history.
PS: and best intro.
riff is awesome
That chick backstage in the white tank top is really into it
I noticed her. 😁
2:10 Homme using aggressive picking to tell the cameraman to gtf out of the way
At least he didn’t kick them in the face that time 😬
Thos song is so good still listening in 2024
1:58 Jerry Cantrell in the background
holy shit.. it is too man

This is good. For the archives.
I'll never understand if Garcia was faking in the beginning..or it was just too much high
LOL
Yes, one of those.
He probably was high AF
No one will ever know. That girl in background moving around looks high AF though

3:20 maybe one of the best solos ever?
5:07 She steps up her dancing game after seeing the fanny pack chick go crazy.
Safe to say they were probably “invited” backstage.
2:28 in the wave
dude Jimmy Fallon was doing this in 1995?? wtf
Hahahahaha
All of the band members are fucking good 🤟
In the groove.......
Que lindooo!!! Todos re colocados.. Aguante el stoner.
danm! First timer here!
Kyuss por siempre!!!! No Joda! Stoner para el Alma 🏴☠️
Epic
fuck yes
Awesome song
sowas sollte den ganzen tag auf dem wdr laufen. dafür zahl ich^^
Esas palabras solucionaron muchos problemas en mi vida
Heavy stoned. 👌🏻
They sound exactly the same live, as they do recorded
I like the wasted chic dancing with the fanny pack. Very mid 90s. Homme is this band really

Tomasz Nita Scott Reader is one of the best bass players I've ever seen. Great band. I don't think any one member was better than the other
19 mdma tablets on her head
@@tomasznita8675 i concur
Nah, this band is Brant Bjork, really.
Jerry Cantrell of AIC standing sidestage by Josh? Either way...RESPECT to KYUSS (and Chains!)
4:00 Hendrix
Which Hendrix's song do u wanna mean?
He's High
I wish i could get back in the nineties and see that concert and cut Josh hommes' guitar strings After the mechanics.
Blame the guitar tech (if there was one) 😊

Che band!@ T U T T I so fucking great
He looks and sounds a little tired.
respect for alfredo hernandez , but i prefer brant bjork
Garcia has took a little special something
Scott Reeder playing bass upside down?
He's left-handed. It's a lefty Ibanez bass
bizzare is the fanny bag lady dancing on back stage
the guy at 2:52
Ir más pedo que Alfredo, y nunca mejor dicho
Good thing the band isn't as drunk as the singer. Could have turned out much worse!
God I wish John wouldn’t sing he ruins it
GREAT band, abysmally bad vocalist 😨
