Feels like a throwback show from yesteryears! Glad you were able to move some stuff to make up with the purchases you made. Looks like it was pretty well attended for a small show! Need more shows like this everywhere!
@@raph-retro-comics yeah I love this show. It’s got lots of deals, plenty of selection and a nice laid back attitude which I love. Makes it very fun and enjoyable
That seems like such a cool convention!
It’s a fun local convention. I love them because you are hanging out with friends and getting great deals
Great to meet you and thank you for the free Matrix book 😊
You are very welcome.
Fun to watch! Thanks, Sean and Jason! 👍🏻 😃
Glad you enjoyed it
This was as super fun show, thanks for making the video (and I'm glad the Frison book went to a good home).
You are very welcome, and thank you for the great books and deals!
Great to see some early Hot Stuff comics!!
I love finding 10 cent Harvey books in great shape for cheap.
Love these book digging videos! Keep it up 😁
More to come!
Fun video, it rook me awhile to get thru it all lol. Great haul Jason.
Thank you, happy you enjoyed it.
I have watched a few of your videos now and I am becoming a big fan. I would love to meet you sometime. Thank you very much!
Maybe one day!
TWO Boxes marked "Cheap & Weird?... I'm Home!!
For sure, loved that box
What a great video. I really wish I could be there myself.
Glad you enjoyed it! If your not local, I recommend trying to find a similar comic show in your area. It really is nice to hang out and chat with comic collectors on a regular basis and hunt comics.
Hey Sean! Back to catch the section I missed!!
Have fun!
Some of those ARchie x-overs look interesting as h%ll!!
Indeed!
I'm a fool for that kind of stuff.
That's a deal on that X-Men 266 sticking out of those boxes. I would buy that
For sure, What I like about these small local shows is there is always friend deals to be had.
Where in queens just got here
It was Saturday. You can follow instagram.com/queenscomicparty/ to get updates on the next shows.
Having the Ramones in Riverdale seems like there should be a disruption of the time continuum or something...!!
haha
I don't know whose booth that was at the beginning, but that flaming carrot comic is NOT worth $45! It is not flaming carrot comics 1-- it is flaming carrot STORIES 1, from the 90s- five dollar book at best. I hope that was an honest mistake and not the vendor trying to trick someone.
At what minute? Probably a mistake. I saw the book but thought the price seemed really high but had no idea what the value was.

Great to see u at QCP and definitely enjoy your content. Thanks for the sub mariners and the free good stuff,TMNT variant. Cheers
Thanks for coming out, it was a ton of fun.
Well it depends if they are claiming it’s a CC1 or not. Overpricing a comic is the dealers prerogative and they can just take the book home with them if they choose. Price does not dictate value.
Just found your channel my friend unbelievable patience needed keep the good work up😊
Happy you found the channel, enjoy. I have lots of crazy long mega hunt videos lol
I could finish up my 1960s-70s SUPERMANs if they were all $5!!
Heck yeah!
seeing lots of Atlas Seaboard... Thought those were scarce items!!
Hrm I see them semi often so I don't think they are obscure in the NYC area, I think Ian was also buying tons of them so he might have concentrated them a bit.
@@pop-comics those were my duplicates haha
Yeah figures you probably bought everyone you saw for cheap and pulled duplicates.
@@pop-comics it's hard for me to leave Atlas books behind, haha.
Pop I have a question. Some time ago you said half of the books you sold in your shop were ASM. But you never pick up any ASM, you dont even look at them... Why not?
Because no one sells them in dollar bins or cheap at cons. They sell well for everyone. I usually pick them up when I buy collections at the shop.
I looked it up you are 5 minutes away. If I see anything I like I’ll let you know. Thanks Tom
ok

29:15 I'm sure this seller was an okay guy but I cringe when I hear people so full of shit when talking about Stan Lee. Was this guy in the Marvel bullpen, because he's saying Kirby and Ditko couldn't take the way they were being treated by Stan as if he witnessed it himself? Oddly enough John Romita John Buscema, Marie Severin Roy Thomas and innumerable other Marvel stalwarts didn't have the same problems. Kirby left Marvel, for the greener pastures of DC (where they never let him get near Superman and Batman's main titles) and they cancelled all of his Fourth World books within a year. Then despite having savaged Stan in the press and with his nasty "Flashman" caricature, Stan still let Kirby return to Marvel, and gave him his own titles to write, illustrate, and edit. At a time when other younger creators at Marvel thought Kirby was washed, Stan still hailed Kirby in every Soapbox as the "King." That was a helluvalot more magnanimous than Kirby ever was to Stan. And as much as I adore Alan Moore's writing, just because he sided with Ditko and Kirby doesn't validate the Kirby cult's obsessive demonization of Stan. The sad truth is that nothing Kirby did without Stan or Joe Simon ever remotely approached the popularity of the works where they were his collaborators. And Stan did more to promote Kirby's work and solidify Kirby as the King of comics than anyone in the industry. He was vastly more successful at promoting Kirby than Jack ever was for himself.
I have never really looked into the drama myself but your point of view is very sound. I seem to always hear debates about Kirby and Stan Lee etc. It comic convention small talk like talking about the weather and I always
Zone out lol
The axe that never dulls.
I bought books from this nice gentlemen and he was speaking of jack hirbys birthday phone call from stan lee. Sharing the phone call from stan was nothing wrong with that at all...
