Thanks for this great series! This tutorial seems to end abruptly without finishing. Is there any chance you could re-upload or upload the remaining part and add it to the playlist? Thanks :)
Hello, I have an two questions unrelated to this video. 1. How can one insert the cancel to zero arrow (or goes to zero) over some terms in word 2. How can one create block matrices with vertical and horizontal lines separating that matrix into submatrices
1. You type arg \above(x ightarrow 0) . Do not write . I just put it there to indicate that you have to press "space".The parenthesis is removed after formatting so if you want a parenthesis in the expression above the argument you'll have to write \above((x ightarrow 0)) 2. You mark the cell you want to create a matrix in and use the \matrix or insert one from the equation editor. A=[\matrix(\matrix(a_11&a_12@a_21&a_22)&\matrix(b_11&b_12@b_21&b_22)@\matrix(c_11&c_12@c_21&c_22)&\matrix(d_11&d_12@d_21&d_22))] It does not work if you just copy/paste the formula and press space at the end of the formula. Make sure to press space for each element (or block component) to make it format as a matrix before doing the same to the next element and so on.
Hello! It seems to me that your method is not optimal, try { STYLEREF 1 \s }.{ SEQ eqn \* Arabic \s 1 \* MERGEFORMAT } How does it work? "STYLEREF 1" prints the number of the current "Heading 1" section "SEQ eqn" creates a sequence named 'eqn' "\s 1" restarts the sequence at each "heading 1" I also tried to use { SECTION } for the first number, but it didn't work. 1 was displayed all the time. I don’t understand why
HelloI Dr.I want to ask how to write a very long equation in one line in Microsoft Word, or if that is not possible, how to make its form look better? 😊 Thanks a lot
If it is too long to fit in one line, it is best to split into two lines. Surround your equation with \eqarray( ) , and inside, use @ to specify where you want the line to split, and use & to specify where they should align up. See more here: en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Typing_Mathematics_in_Microsoft_Word#Multiple_Aligned_Equations Hope this helps!
I am struggling to understand your playlists cause everything is done for mac. Me as a windows user got lost when you started to talk about how to set up the shortcuts

I just wanted to know if large equations get tied together in the same equation but I wanted it seperately is there any shortcut
Can you just hit "enter" or return to separate them into 2 lines? Or am I not understanding your situation?

"STYLEREF 1" prints the number of the current "Heading 1" section
"SEQ eqn" creates a sequence named 'eqn'
"\s 1" restarts the sequence at each "heading 1"

This is very useful, I shall try it out, thanks!
