Sorry about that. The JLT catch cans are now J&L OSC. Check out this link here and you should be able to filter your year and model to get the one you are looking for. www.phastekperformance.com/engine-oil-separators/
I put one of these on my 2017 Silverado LTZ with a 5.3. I was amazed at the amount of oil I found in the can. I think these direct injection motors are for the birds.
Direct injection motors create more crank case pressure, which in turn causes more oil to flow through the system. Good call on the catch can with your Silverado!
We suggest every oil change unless you do a lot of spirited driving, then every month is a good time period to check. All you will have to do is twist the lower portion of the can off and pour out the excess oil deposits.
I think you described the flow incorrectly. It’s suppose to come in through the open side and run up through the filters and back in the intake. If it was flowing the other direction there would be a clog that would develop in the first hose as the finer stainless is closest in the direction of flow.
There are a lot of different styles available. There are some for the early 5th gen and some for the late 5th gen, it all depends on what style fits your set up and which one would fit your model.
I have one on my 6th gen SS and I'm going to install a TVS2650 based supercharger soon. Do I need to change the catch can set up?
You made this look easy, very informative and clear video when it comes to the manual.
Thanks Much!
Definitely want to drop one in my 2017 V6 RS model
The link isn't working and I can't find this catch can on your website.

I have one on my V6 Mustang, I recommend it.
Got it on my 2012 Silverado 5.3 it keeps alot of oil out of the intake, I have to empty it every couple weeks. Easy install
When or how often do I check the catch can for oil depots? How do you clean them?

Thanks for your response!!!👍🏼👍🏼
On the catch can itself, it's recommended that you clean the screen with brake cleaner every 10,000 miles.

What is the correct routing I bought the same one! Does the inlet side go to the back of the valve cover side and outlet to throttle bodi side?
Is there anyone that makes a plug and play system for a 18 ZL1 seems most of the gen 2 and 3 coyote platforms have a plug and play set up
Currently there are non that we offer but we have spoken to different manufacturers about offering a kit.
Awesome gideo
Will this v8 model work on a 2013 v6 tho ?
Unfortunately not. The routing for the V6 is going to be different when compared to the V8.
@@PhastekPerformance thanks!
@@MylifeonTap Check BBK, they have oil catch cans.
What’s the best strut tower brace for the 5 gen 2010 Camaro

Does anyone know if the bullit customs catch can on phastek website will work for a 2014 Camaro v6 auto?
Yes, that will fit the V6. You will only have to find the vacuum line for it to work properly since the instructions are for the SS.
That's how you add a catch can on an LS3 transmission???
This guy doesn't understand how these work and the choking on his words over and over shows it.
Why couldn't chevy instead of putting that stupid u shape hose just install the dam catch a can themself? They are freakin cheap!!😡
GM likes to cheap out many times, it's just ridiculous.
Cause the gas and go people would let them get plugged up. I just ordered one.
