I feel like I say this every few months, but Flynn’s language skills and vocabulary are TRULY impressive. I love the way your whole family engages in conversation with your kids like they are grownups. Keep doing what you’re doing! ❤
Long winded story: My twin brother and I are the youngest in our family, and we didn’t really grow up around family that were having kids as we grew up. Because of this I’ve been uncomfortable around babies and little kids, just because I didn’t have any experience with them. Watching how you and a few other TH-camrs interact with their kids and nieces and nephews has given me examples of how to hang out with children, how to take their lead in interests, and just understand a daily routine. I have a niece and nephew arriving in March, and I am so excited to become an aunt, and help my siblings out with their babies. I feel equipped to do so because of what you’ve shared. As well as how to better be there for my brother and sister in law as parents and helping make sure their needs are met as well. I really appreciate all you’ve shared. ♥️ I put together a whole google doc of links to baby stuff/ parent stuff that might be helpful, to give a jumping off point for them when they are searching for items to get, and little bum bums clothing website DEFINITELY went on that list!
Does anyone else remember when the twins clothes were barely bigger than Colleen’s head and now they don’t even fit into the frame, I could cry😭❤ Also, Colleen being so excited about the twins beetle outfits even though she hates bugs is hilarious 😂

Colleen! I loved seeing sea glass in your pile! My mom and I would spend hours on the beach (Indiana dunes, Lake Michigan) searching for sea glass. I still have mason jars full of what we found. She passed four years ago in December, I discovered your vlogs right before she passed while you were pregnant with Flynn. Thank you for being one of the many people that helped me get through such a difficult time. It warmed my heart to see you make similar memories with your kids on the beach. They will cherish those forever. ❤

I have done that end to end marathon across the Denver airport and I feel such visceral empathy for others who have to do the same thing. Oh, and I've done the run, only to miss the flight as well. I will never forget the mixture of so many emotions when you find that out.

I struggle so much with being so hard on myself in everything I do. I am never enough for myself it feels like! Something my therapist taught me is to take those negative, intrusive thoughts and make them positive ones! Once you think of those positive ones, post them ALL around your spaces! Sticky notes, white boards, lipstick on mirrors!! I have the words, "I am enough" written on ALL of my mirrors in my house! I love you and your family and I strive to love the world so openly and unconditionally as you do! ❤️
I have so many memories at the airport, and in general of my brother leaving every summer to be with his dad halfway across the country...it’s sucked so bad when he’d leave, but the WARMTH I felt each time he came back is I’m sure similar to how your kiddos feel when you’re back! 🥰 Very hard to say goodbye and be away, but sooo nice to reunite and be together, love always there even if someone physically isn’t (and somehow stronger, if even possible)
You probably know this as I'm sure you have flown wayyyyyyy more than me but as someone who flies every few months for school (and someone who has a dad who works at an airport) if you tell the hostesses you have a connecting flight with a very short amount of time between they can get you off the plane first and also radio or call ahead to the connecting flight to let them know. Just in case something like that happens again.

My cat does exactly what Gus was doing! Cats love the scent of their owners because its familiar to them, that's why he was snuggling all in your clothes lol. I'm in college, and when I come back to my apartment and throw my book bag and jacket on my bed, my cat, Halo does the same thing! So cute! Gus loves ya.
You should get Flynn waders for the water!! We got some for my toddler and she loves them because she can play in the water at the river without getting her clothes all wet and she can splash in the puddles outside when it’s raining and not get all wet.. highly recommend!!!
One of my most favorite memories with my mother, brother and sister was to walk up and down the beach finding shells or rocks on walks with my little bucket. Flynn will never forget 🥰 We used to make crafts with ours!

Giving your babies milk in their beds is a very bad idea. Not only can having the milk sit out at room temperature through the entire night make them sick, the sugar in milk/formula causes tooth decay and cavities in their tiny mouths. I would stop that habit immediately.
@@veronicaantonello7961 then she needs to take it out of their cribs while they're asleep. Otherwise, when they wake up (during the night & morning), they'll grab the bottle & drink the sour milk just like the bottles she found on the floor that were there almost a week.

Giving your babies milk in their beds is a very bad idea. Not only can having the milk sit out at room temperature through the entire night make them sick, the sugar in milk/formula causes tooth decay and cavities in their tiny mouths. I would stop that habit immediately.

@@veronicaantonello7961 then she needs to take it out of their cribs while they're asleep. Otherwise, when they wake up (during the night & morning), they'll grab the bottle & drink the sour milk just like the bottles she found on the floor that were there almost a week.
