My NES, SNES N64 and original game boy still work. Have never had an issue with a console. Only issue is the joystick can get lose on the n64 controller.
This and super Mario sunshine are straight up classics.
And the Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask and ocarina of time.

I love how they threw in calling Mario's name as a seemingly useless default feature. From a purely emotional POV, it makes me smile.
Luigi loves his big brother and he's looking for him. And depending how scared/confident he is based on his health, he can go from searching for him to crying for him.
I didn't even realize until two hours into the video that Luigi whistles when he's in an area that has lights on, and hums when in dark areas.

He might be emulating the game on pc to make it easier to beat it. I’ve played the game on GC back in June and it’s definitely a lot harder than this guy shows. Most of the Boos if not all easily escape the vacuum suck and leave the room making a annoying back and forth battle. Also the grabber ghost start draining your life right away while in this video he shakes them off instantly
@@masterantifaiff9083 I think you're right. Because Mario's portrait is wrong. It has an HD look but the Gamecube's was more pixelated to look like an oil painting. (Note: The portrait's look after Luigi beats Bowser with Mario sleeping is the correct look.)
I also see some placement errors. For example in the Kitchen where he got the Water Element the flying pots and pans disappear when the lights are on, but one can be seen on the wall after the lights come on.
Luigis mansion 2 is good and 3 will probably be great but nothing will ever reach the hight of Luigis mansion 1s dark atmosphere amazing soundtrack and interesting lore
Yesss, the original had a moody sarcastic and creepy vibe mixed with humor. Wasn't scary at all, yet perfect. 2 and 3 are just have a gentle, cute atmosphere. I'm incredibly sad to see that, with 3 following the vibe of 2 instead of one, it almost looks like the original's vibe was an accident they don't want to reproduce
The second was the best. No longer speak of LM3.

Dark Moon was pretty amazing as far as these games go. Then again, it could just be my nostalgia for the game. But I had so much fun playing Dark Moon! I can't help but say it's my favorite game out of the three!

Indeed. I feel that the new one coming out is losing the magic that this one encapsulates you in. Luigi's Mansion 2 just didn't have what it takes and I am ashamed that they're making a third one in that same style. It'll almost assuredly never be the same, which is adverse as they will never be as fun to play as the first one was. I just hope they'll remake it one the switch and update the music with realer sounding instruments. That's quite honestly all that I'd want if nothing else.

One of the reasons I love the original so much is it had the best atmosphere. It was scary, not in the "Oh my God I'm going to die!" Or the complete mental breakdown type of horror, but the childish, fun yet still kinda spooky atmosphere, you know? The playful kind of scary.. Halloween-y.. I dont know how to describe it, it just had a perfect "haunted house" vibe to it.
But this one was always my favorite for that reason, the atmosphere had a playful cartoonish spook factor to it, being spooky while still keeping the cartoony Mario feel. I love it!
The lightning part where the whole mansion went dark scared the piss out of me when I played it as a kid
Ah yes, Sir Weston (ie. 2:56:00) , by far, the most annoying nearly-impossible gold frame to get (you have to get super lucky). This actually killed the enjoyment of the game when I attempted to 100% this, to the point where I just said screw it, and just decided to do it on the hidden mansion.
*Toad:* "I accidentally flushed something very important of mine down the toilet!" [cries profusely]
*Luigi:* "Hey...don't worry about it."
*Toad:* "Shit, you right."

I really agree with you man. This very game is the greatest. However dark moon screwed it up by the less spooky ghosts, and the multiple mansions. That threw it all off. But hopefully they will make Luigi’s mansion three the same as the first.

The original will always be the best. The other ones are dull and boring and lack a lot of the elements that the first one had that made it a masterpiece. If they brought back portrait ghosts and the same design and music as well as unique bosses then it would be great again.
The first one is Luigi’s first mansion and trying to find his brother Mario.
The second one is when King Boo shatters the Dark Moon 🌙 and scattered all 5 pieces into 5 creepy mansions and it’s up to Luigi ounce again to find it and rescue his bro again from King Boo.
The third one is a hotel 🏨 like Hotel Transylvania but a mansion like hotel 🏨 and I want to get my Nintendo Switch to get this game and see what is the story of this game of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and I hope for Princess Daisy to be a Damsel in Distress in the third Luigi mansion game and King Boo better not kidnap Mario again I was hoping that Daisy deserved to be kidnap just Ounce.

The atmosphere in this is unmatched. It's so well done, and I doubt it can or will ever be replicated by nintendo
This is honestly my favorite Nintendo game. It’s pretty short and you can beat it in one sitting if you’re committed. But this game is amazing for me because of the atmosphere. Dust particles fly off everything you touch, you can here ghosts grumbling in every dark room, and Luigi’s hand trembles with every new door he opens.
I miss this game so much. Ah the memories. 💯

Always felt bad capturing Madame Clairvoya. She's the only ghost who doesn't want to hurt you and tries to help you out, even though everything she's saying is already known simply by listening to the boos when you first release them and going into the well.
However, I never knew why she fought back the vacuum. She wanted to go so to me it kinda broke immersion a tad.
Would have definitely been cool with her as a supporting character instead of an enemy you need to defeat.
I remember watching a friend play this game but I’ve never seen it 100 percent finished until now. It’s a pleasure to watch and looks like fun!
