I know people probably don't watch music videos for the acting, but her acting in this is kind of great. She shows a lot of little tweaks that show us she's crazy, mainly her eyes bugging out sometimes, but keeps them subdued enough so its not obvious. So when you get the reveal at the end, it's not obvious, but it makes total sense if you watch it back.

I went through quite a few batteries listening to the same station (that I wouldn't of regularly listened to) to hear it again & find out who it was. Her voice is BEAUTIFUL! The day I was released I looked it up on TH-cam... Now a couple years later, my son was just watching Nickelodeon & the show Abby Hatcher came on & the rythem to the theme song reminded me of it & made me look it up again. It was like the first time I heard it. I could listen to it 1,000 times & not get tired of her voice.

First time I watched it I felt the same as you, the ending caught me off guard.
