I’m almost done watching this and my cat has been glued to the screen the entire time. She loves watching other animals on tv. It’s so cute!
OMG the 1st comment I see and it's exactly what I was going to write. At least I know I'm not alone. IN my case I've several cats but only one of the mom's who had 2 kittens on the 4th of July one of which along with his mom were watching but started attacking the screen when they were showing the Lions on a night hunt for Zebra's/ For sure they absolutely recognized themselves on screen the mom was actually more into a WTF or WHo T F ru ? an why r u here mode but the half grown kitten I had to tell him no because he kept trying to kill the Zebras. You're right Danielle it was "Cute" even though I'd probably have to say it was sic if I wsa talking to my bro's who r all pitbulls mostly stuck on stupid. I wish I coudl have got on video this one tiemi had to baby sit this pittbul that i had firmly on a leash that one of my orignial cats didn't blink but like lightning swatted the pitbull right on her nose and no kidding spent the next 10 minutes trembling in the corner. LOL not long ago I was on my computer and when i got up behind me a few of my cats were sittign in a perfect circle all facing inwards. So I get up thinking that's odd what's up. OMG in he center of the circle was something I've never seen in real life and never wanted to. It was a scorpion. A formof a monster the heebee geebee's can't sleep for 3 nights creepy ugly scary yuck...any way the darn thing was in full defense mode it's tail in strike mode it 's pinchers facing up snapping and I just sadi out loud to the cats OMG thank you becasue it's a scorpeon the sight alone is deadly . Man as soon as I said tha toenof the older females a reall ymajestic cat in a blink oof an eye just moved forwats and it was gone. It jhappend so fsat I coudl nt actually see it but It had to eaten the darn thign whoel in one gulp. No oway it coudl have escaped it was surrounded n a tight cirle and no onther cats moved . SO I say Oh thank youyou dved my life ...then i thouht ..Oh Shirt right they're poisonous . Not to that cat they're not. I;m temped to tell you about the tiem I opned a can of tuna when I had a lot of cats o rwhe n i had no lotion and it wsa summmer and my legs were dry so i made the huge mistake of using cooking oil and in both cases was almost torn to shreds ...nattow escape involved some alpha cat displays on my part. LOL I kep squirt bottle s filed with water in ever room of my plac efor safety reason. Plus it's just ez and fun . I dont soeak thjem or anytihng mean they have and i can squirt right next to them and they like it. It must be dinner time look at these typos a sur esign of hunger.

Cheetahs are long, tall and handsome, but they sound like tiny infants. And I love how lion cubs usually comes from a 2-parent home. I can’t get enough of nature!

Leopard- Versatility and good climbers
Jaguar- Powerful jaws
Tiger- Strength
Cougar- Agility
Snow leopard- Element of stealth
Tiger is longer fangs to bite. Lions have equally the same strength. A tiger a lone wouldn't hunt African buffalo just like lions do. He or she would need another tiger or 2 to help it.

The most widespread predator is a canid species. The predator with the highest kill rate is also a canid.
This shouldn't even be a discussion, ambush hunting is overrated and needs special circumstances to be fulfilled to work whereas persistence hunting can literally work anywhere. Hence the reason grey wolves have been the most widespread predator for the last couple thousand years...

Ambush hunting is much more sophisticated and energy efficient. It allows the cat to sneak up close silently and deliver a quick kill. Don’t tell me relentlessly chasing combine with ass biting is more impressive than stealth and explosive muscle power.

Did you reay say which one is more impressive? This isn't a show, this is about what works better and statistically persistence hunting has shown to be better each and ever single time. I mean you're literally reaping the benefits of it. Humans wouldn't have been able to punch about their weight without it.
And what are you talking being more energy efficient? Wild dogs literally hunt twice a day everyday, with only a couple hours between each hunt. They can literally do it over and over and over again.

@@user-yi2sd6mh9w I said they are prince and not king for a reason bozo. Jaguars have the strongest bite force and the third largest big cat so if a Jaguar was as big as a tiger or lion, he’ll destroy that tiger/lion

Tigers are very hard to document and find since there more rare and they live in thick forests, unlike lions and leapords that have endless cool documentaries.

I enjoy all these documentary on animals its really interesting
Big cats are nature's perfect killing machines, but the ones raised in captivity are actually extremely bonded with their human caretakers. Lions love standing on their hind legs and giving big hugs. Cheetahs love cuddles and long naps with their humans. Pumas are like big affectionate housecats. . ..and Lynxes are super cool with humans. They don't even attack people in the wild.
housecats? Pumas kill 400 pound Elk in the US on the regular, that includes 100 pound females as well
Cheetahs, pumas, and lynxes are not big cats - they purr. Big cats roar.
Not perfect, their kill rate isn't that high compared to canids

I hate how one of the most unique cat, The Snow Leopard is usually ignored in these although it's understandable given the conditions they live in (Himalayan Peaks well over 3500m above the sea level where even trees don't grow), it's really hard to get videos or research about them.

Snow Leopards despite what their name suggests are more closely related to Tigers, Tigers being the extant big cats they have shared a common ancestor with the latest. And ofcourse a Panther is a leopard, cause it's literally just a Black Leopard, it's like calling a White Tiger a different creature cause it's a different colour.

I have a small baby tiger tattooed on my right shoulder. I’m about one month away from getting it covered with a panther as a tattoo by a brilliant artist that I’ve been looking out for, for a while. My big cat experience is limited to living in the hood next to a zoo when I was in college. The tigers, leopards, etc. are over grown house cats compared to a large male Lion.
