@Supergreen76 Thank you! That's a great idea, and we will! He has really adopted us. While I still don't understand cats at all, he has been somewhat successful at modifying my "dog parent" behavior, slowly. My husband has been a better student. 😆Bizarre little creatures....

@Wargfox I think people would rather not have tons of starving cats and kittens! They populate quickly and that 45 you write if can quickly become 145 with no controls...

I adopted siblings. They are very happy with each other’s company. They are 10 now and play together, sleep together, groom each other, and have wresting matches! Funny to watch!
My cats have purpose. Our cat Rebel got kind of old, stopped hunting and my little terrier passed. Mice invaded my garage. I got Max. He was a Forgotten Feline rescue from feral at birth. He had my garage clear of mice within two weeks and before he was fully grown.
I agree. Remembering frugal and practical attitudes my grandparents' generation had, it sounds unbelievable that ancient people would waste food for vain reasons. Also, I doubt that there used to be as much trash laying around as it is now, as food was much more scarce. In all the stories in folklore, cats are said to be kept to control mice. Also, dogs were domesticated around ~30000 years ago, the oldest rat killing dog breeds are only 600-500 years old. This theory that cats had no purpose makes no sense to me.
Cats domesticated humans when the cats discovered that a lot of rodents lived near us. Then, after cats had eliminated their wild food supply, they conned us into keeping them fed to keep rodents from coming back, in part, by being unbearably cute.
I'm glad he mentioned cats don't hunt 'for the fun of it' it annoys me when people vilify them for an entirely natural and normal behaviour. like they're doing it out of viscousness. yea it makes me a little sad to see a dead mouse or any animal but its NOT dead out of malice or cruelty, only our species are capable of that
Myself and my18yr old granddaughter and her two friends were on holiday on a beautiful Greek island called Kephanolia. We went on a cruise to another island. It was so beautiful and was full of cats. The first thing the girls did was go to a shop and buy heaps of cat food. The cats didn’t seem feral so maybe all the tourists fed them. They looked healthy and the girls loved feeding them. A lovely memory
I have had cats most of my life, and many different coat colours. Temperament has nothing to do with colours. And a cat is a hunter. If you don't have big roads near by, let them injoy nature. I do. My oldest cat was put down when he was almost 23 years old. I train with my cats. They come when I call, they sit on command and so on. With patience and love you can train a cat, and it actually makes a closer bond. Our cat goes for walks with me and her big sister, a dog, and she loves it.
My wife and I adopted a lovely black female rescue cat called Piper. Sadly we lost her to acute kidney failure, but the joy she brought into our lives was just priceless.
When you bring a stray or shelter cat into your home just put down food, water, and kitty litter and let them come to you, however long it takes. They will become the sweetest, loving, appreciative cat ever! I’m 70 and have had cats all my life and you have to give them their space. By giving them food and space they become the most loving friend that you’ll ever have!
A feral kitten got trapped in my apartment wall--I don't know how. But eventually, I trapped him and so I named him Jerry in honor of the how Tom tries to capture Jerry with his traps. Then I adopted him. Now, his gf moved in after giving birth to his kittens. They're awesome. And I'm not a cat person per se, but they are intriguing. They may not serve an original practical purpose but they are entertaining. They soothe my soul and bring a smile to me
My cats have tunnels,3 different cat trees,wall/climbing boards.. a whole playground.. I think my love for my cat is the softness, personality, and they seem to have a human esq face.. and yes, they're very very curious.. I love ❤️ it!!
Dont really know why but cats make the best campions for the dying or the elderly its a different kind of bond iv only seen with the elderly and their pets but so beautiful to see...
I never noticed the whiskers on a cat's paws. That really surprised me. I was also really surprised the first time a cat hissed at me. I had no idea that a cat could make that sound.
I am a backyard wild bird lover and also a cat owner. I have taken years to train my cat to not catch any backyard birds. I gotta say it is a constant training that does not end but once made routine can make a huge difference. 👍🏼🌎☀️💙
I have loved the cat family all of my love, but I learnt so much about my own Calico cat after watching this video. I am in absolute awe of cats (I must be part Egyptian). A million 'thank you(s) for posting this wonderful video.
As a cat mom to my beloved Siamese mix, Babette, who is now four, this is absolutely fascinating! She was born in a barn of a feral mother, and found/fostered at four months. I adopted her soon after. She's very loving; however, she does have an inherited wariness. She's cuddly on her terms, doesn't want me to hold her. But will sit on my lap whenever I sit down. She meows only when she wants to play, not for food, etc. This video helps me to know and understand her better.
A MOTHER of 6 cats here !! i never really like cats but my son had a cat and when he went to college he left the cat she is 10 yrs old now but in 5/15/24 i was taking my groceries out of my car when i walk in my house there was a cat that was not mine with 2 kittens she was just there in my couch with her kitten i called my son asked him if he got 3 cats he said no i am almost 450 miles away he said . I fed her and made her comfortable but she kept wanting to go outside my other son said mom let her out let see what she dose 20 min later she is on my porch with 2 more kitten and these is my story how i end up with 6 cats that i never expected to own or shall i say they own me lol bc with cats i fee like i am their maid is ok bc they give me so much joy .
I kept the two cats in my life entertained because I knew that they could get into all kinds of things, so I got them toys and different things so that they could climb on also, because I knew that cats love to climb, and I had scratching posts for them.
I have always had animals in my life, wouldn’t want to be without them. They give unconditional Love and affection. They can be trained, they are protective of their ‘family’.
23:56 - Cats didn't evolve or tap into this sensory bias we have for that sound range. It's always been the same as human babies. It is why lions have confused the sound of a crying human child as something they need to protect. This has been explained in the past as to why lions have sometimes been found guarding crying human children in the wild.
I adopted my cat from a shelter when she was 8. She had been there for months and I couldn’t understand why no one had wanted her. She was the most beautiful animal I had ever seen with taupe and midnight brown stripes on her back, a beige belly with sharply contrasted dark spots and piercing aqua green eyes. I held her once and I knew we had a special bond, despite never having been a cat person per se (I didn’t think cats liked me). She was scared and underweight when I brought her home. I didn’t force affection or even attention from her. I just spoke to her softly, fed her consistently at the same times everyday, and waited patiently with no expectations. She gradually started approaching me and when my husband was in the room (or anyone else), she would nuzzle herself under my arm and peek out. I was her safe space and that was just fine with me. As weeks went by, she would spend less and less time under the bed. She began nuzzling her head on my face, “talking” to me (her meow legit sounds like “hello” ☺️), running to greet me at the back door when I would get home, and sleeping in her safe space under my arm at night. She is now 13 and my family calls her my shadow because she is always by my side. Luna is healthy, happy, and sleeps on my pillow with her face touching mine every night. She hasn’t needed to hide under my arm for a long time but she knows I will always be her safe place. It’s truly a love like no other and I hope everyone gets to be a cats “person” at least once in their lives. ❤
@@VirgilTStone Climate change windmills kill more birds than house cats ever will. Those windmills kill whales and dolphins as well. Kitty is part of nature. To think that some house cats will get rid of the bird population is insane.
Cats may have originally come from nature, but now they are domesticated. They depend on humans for survival and they are not truly happy unless they have a human whom they love and whom loves them. I strongly disagree with the premise of this video that cats can have a meaningful life without a caretaking human - it’s just plain wrong. They would survive only so long and they would suffer many calamitous health issues. They don’t “learn to put up with humans.” They desire relationship with humans.
@@jeanniebrooks,cats surely can live with out human interference in nature i will respectfully disagree with you on that, of course if they live with us they have a longer and a better quality of life as any other animal in nature not just cats, sometimes when my cat hunts he doesn't even care about his bowl he is that full.
There are many researchers & scientists who believe cats significantly affect the bird population, and I agree. The birds have enough predators w/o adding pet cats. Mine is a hunter and he would kill a bird once a week, lizards several a day, and the adorable tiny wild rabbits that everything wants to eat whenever he discovers one. He caught an injured baby crow , and since I always left the patio door open cat-width, he brought it in to the garage. I let it loose and the neighbors cat went for it- the parents pecked his eye out, so he suffered a painful injury and lost sight in that eye. It could’ve happened to mine. We also have coyotes hunting pet cats in our neighborhood. After that day, he could not go out again. I know he loved the outdoors, it makes me sad, he was probably happier, but I have to keep him safe.
I have kept dogs all my life and for the last 8 years av kept cats in fact 5 of them am now a cat man I will never have another dog again it's a goy keeping them I rush home from work to be with them the greeting I get of them is emotional and the bond we have is very very special to me and them big time I keep my cats indòors to keep them safe they have a huge play area in the back garden lots of enrichment for them to play about in they bring so much pleasure to me I couldn't live without them big time
Interesting and very informative. On the topic of feral cats and length of time it can take to form a bond with one, I once had one female feral who took up residence in my yard. I had plenty of spaces where she could sleep and exist safely so when she showed to be pregnant, I made arrangements, when she was ready, to have the kittens fostered and adopted out. I had her brought back as I had made plans to feed her and let her live where it was wArm and comfortable. I then started the task of getting her to bond with me and it took 6 years to get her to jump in my lap and snuggle. She was a sweetheart to me but would only allow one other person, my granddaughter, the same privilege.
Wow I never knew their shoulders and their ribs stretch and expand like that. This video is awesome thank you I have learned so much I'm a cat lover I'm an animal lover but I love cats I have a Calico 5 years old I want to learn everything there is to learn so I can give her the best life ever I Rescue all the cats in my neighborhood the ones that are able to be adoptable the other ones I get neutered and put back so they can't have anymore babies but thank you I didn't even know they were born deaf I am a subscriber and I also shared this video❤
I have a gorgeous silver tabby with neon green eyes that is the sweetest, most talkative and passive cat ever. Super social cat that loves to be petted snd will come when called like a dog. She is not skittish whatsoever. One of the best cats i have ever had, and I have had some awesome cats with amazing personalities. We love our mama kitty. She is getting older and has developed diabetes. We are going to miss her so much when she is gone. 😢 I am so glad we saved her. She has been such a wonderful part of our family. I will keep her healthy and alive for as long as she can! ❤
I agree that 2 cats is not always the best solution. I had 2, one loved it, and controlled the other. The other suffered from it and was stressed. There was plenty of space for them. They did not fight.
I miss my Cocoa who passed away in March 2024 at age 14.5 yrs. She was great and totally relate to the specific meows that she developed to train me to serve her better. lol One of these days I will pick up a couple of cats from a shelter.
My mom never let us bring home a kitten when I was a kid, but when she got old, she started adopting any cat that would show up at her door. I have the last one she captured living with me now.
I have 4 cats. They grew up together so they love each other. I have a long haired orange boy, a long haired tabby, a long haired calico/tortoise, and a short haired gray cat. Last year I went through an awful depression and if it hadn't been for my 4 babies I wouldn't be here. They rallied for me, they would lay on me, they would lick my cheeks if I cried, and most of all they would pur so loudly when I was feeling my lowest. It's almost like they had a meeting and said "ok we have to help mom". I used to let them go outside because I lived in the country and they were more safe. Now I live in a neighborhood with a lot of traffic and people. I'd be devastated if one of them ever got hurt. I love them so very much. 💜
Informative! I am a huge Jackson Galaxy fan. Some of the opinions in this documentary are different than his, like why cats where domesticated in the first place. He though it was for hunting barns, etc. After reading the comments I see that others question some of the opinions in this. Either way, cats are special to us humans. I love my tuxedo cat, Tux. He a little over a year old.
It was probably a mix of both arguments. Surely cats were generally appreciated for eliminating rodents, but I imagine many were kept around just for being pretty, cute, and interesting.
Don't forget that the information given in this video is from scientists who not only study all the ins and outs of cats but their behaviour as well. Whereas Jackson Galaxy is I believe a cat behaviourist. I would, however, as the previous statement said, go along with a bit of both. Having had the pleasure of sharing my home with cats for many years now and watching their behaviour, some (not all) are brilliant hunters, while others have absolutely no idea what to do with a bird or mouse once they've caught it. They do make wonderful companions and are a lot smarter than some people give them credit for.
@@Gaius__ ; yes, it’s a mix of both arguments and I can’t see a way to separate them. Cats are hunters and they will hunt & kill rodents. That keeps rodents away and ancient to modern farmers appreciated that. And domesticated cats are also very good companions. It’s a package benefit.
Speaking of cat rivalry over territory, our cat Midnite had kittens and we gave them all away except one, Dusty. Even though they were mother and son, they were also rivals and would often put on literal cat fights, probably over territory.
40:53 The black coat of a domestic cat is the result of the presence of a pigment called eumelanin; it's not the result of the “absence of colors.” The black color in a cat's coat is due to a high concentration of eumelanin in the fur, which results in a black appearance; it's a single color produced by the presence of this particular pigment.
You can also see the striping or spotting in their black coats when the sun or bright light hits them, just like black leopards. Some are very black, while others have varying degrees of patterns. Some even have brown or grey mixed in with their black coats. Many black cats even have spots of white, which is really cute. They are so beautiful and majestic!
My friend adopted 2 female kittens. We asked the shelter for 2 that get along well together to avoid a stressful situation for them at their new home. Asking the shelter about this goes a long way so they are comfortable and loving with one another.
Leopards purr. Its on film. Also, there are so many cars here, in california, and other states, and they drive 40 to 60 even in rural areas, cats are hit constantly.
Lifelong dog person with a dog family never once had a cat. Sporadically the neighbours cat would come to our driveway very scared and ran away when we tried to pat him, This happened for about three months. We asked the owners if the cat was okay and they said yes he’s a rescue cat so he’s very cautious and scared. Fast forward six years he’s been here for five years and sleeps with my every night and the owners say they are completely fine with it as long as he is happy and safe So the cat pretty much just said “I live here now”
Over several years in the past I had 14 cats. At one time or another there were several living in the house. And they all got along beautifully. I have photographs of them sleeping together in a pile. It was a lovely time. Now I have one cat only. He was feral, then lived in a warehouse by himself. He was brought to me and over a year or so he has become very tame and happy. He is attached to me as surely as any dog I have had. I do worry that he may be bored because he is kept indoors. The wild life around here could easily kill him. I find cats fascinating and endearing along with a certain pathos. I enjoyed this video very much.
I’ve noticed over many decades of cat ownership that cats actually are attracted to sweet things, like ice cream. Mine will turn down milk or cream, but get very excited about a bit of sweetened whipped cream. I’ve had some who like other sweet things, one absolutely loved cantaloupe.
My white female did not get the memo that she was not a hunter. All of her life there would be snakes, rodents, frogs, and all sorts of creatures on my porch or even in the house if I opened the door unaware that she had some thing. She taught her children well because her grey son also hunted everything. When you have cats that Enjoy hunting and are great hunters it's a never ending life of praising them for their accomplishments. I did not get the white mother from anywhere in particular, she was in a box in front of a grocery store. I will say though, I lived in an area that was not heavily populated and the houses were very far apart. She was an indoor/outdoor cat who went out at night and always came back in the morning. In the winter she still wanted to go out at night and we were sometimes afraid for her because of the snowy and cold winters in upstate New York, but she was very smart and in winter she would not stay out too long. My grandmother also found a little black and white kitten who grew up to be a master hunter. She saw her cat on the lawn jumping straight up into the air very, very high and brought a bird down. My grandmother loved birds and she was brokenhearted but she could not bear to scold the cat she loved. She lived in residential Pennsylvania in a neighborhood where the houses had good room around them and the yards were large.
Ive found my female cats are quite happy inside compared to males! 2 of my males would break things, knock things over and 1would pee on counter if not let out. They would come in at dark tho. Another was happy inside. I found a breed difference too.
Cats are very particular about who they pick as friends, but many just love their buddies. Some cats want to be the only cat, others seek out friendships and welcome most cats as friends. I’ve had multiple cats and they are happier and truly love each other. Much better than only one.
All my cats are adopted. All of them rescued from streets. I put the new comers in the bathroom with kiddy box, food and water for about a week. I spent time with the newbies as much as possible. The old timers smell and sense the newbies but didn’t feel the intrusion . After a week or so let them out. So far no fight, hissing contest. They all get along
My kitties are very graceful, usually, and are excellent hunters. When I was a kid our family had a tomcat whose kittens were a mix of friendly and scaredy cats. The wild type cats were of Asian body type, although the sire was more like a British short-haired. They were definitely not happy around people, except for the food and warm digs. (I grew up in Alaska.)

I'm always afraid to let my Drako(my Profile)or Delilah out to roam.. I'm afraid I might not see them again and would be devastated.. My Drake was a TNR cat that I adopted,Lala(Delilah) was a young 10 month ish old cat I met at work on the street, she had no chip, needed vaccines, and very fickle about food,I think she was a kitten born on the street but just got tired of doing it like that.. she absolutely chose me,she picked me out everyday for about a week before she came home with me.. changed my life.. I just worry something will happen to my little companions if I let them roam,I do take them out for play time/walks in the backyard so they're not stuck inside, cause I do feel bad about keeping them inside, but I can't protect them if I don't see them
Thank you this was a great video and I really enjoyed it. My cat used to go outside, but unfortunately got into a fight with a local feral cat and was bitten. When I took him to the vet it was found that he had FIV. So now my cat has to stay inside. It is a hard adjustment for him to make. I've bought him lots of toys and stuff and we play, but I am worried about him becoming bored and stressed. I am currently on leave from work, but I have to go back next month and he will be alone at home
Structured playtime at set times can help with this a lot (same with a scheduled mealtime). Also, you CAN harness train a cat or get a stroller for them. Or a cattio. They can still have supervised outdoor time even with FIV so long as you are careful. FIV doesn't need to be a death sentence, you just have to be hyper vigilant with their health and do everything you can to prevent them from being sick. Thank you for being responsible and keeping him indoor. . .both of our boys were strays we took in. . .one of them has FIV as well and it can be scary. . .but they can live just as long and fulfilled lives as any other cat.
Many FIV positive cats live to lifespan. I have known cases where adopting a second positive cat has improved quality of life and activity level for a cat suddenly required to be indoor only. Worth looking into.
I do not understand the comment "Cats do not have a purpose." - Does anything? Why does this statement only refer to cats? Does it rub anyone else the wrong way?
Every creatures has its own purpose to exist. To worship God and don't associate God with anything. Sadly human are too ignorant and when they revived in hereafter, they Will start begging God to create earth again so they can worship him but thats too late because its judgement day.
I think our Father created us, animals, trees - and all kinds of ... well, EVERYthing - for us all to enjoy & appreciate - and to care for each other. Our purpose of being created is to please YAH. The Bible tells me that. 😊
My first three were Bluepoint Siamese. My two now who are litter mates are dark gray, frosty faced and if the light hits just right faint stripes. They have gold eyes.
An excellent instalment of a generally great series. _Pets & Vets_ always delivers quality content, which usually contains a few tidbits of new and interesting information to even long-time pet guardians. On another note: If the blonde vet lady should ever open an office near me, I'm afraid all my cats would suddenly start developing all sorts of ailments, which come and go randomly 😁
I got my black male cat from a friend who couldnt care for it; i didnt choose him or pick him. He just litraly fell into my life. I couldnt be happier!!!.
It's why I love cats. They decided to love us.
I love cats so much, we should all advocate for their welfare and safety, especially for the strays and cats in shelters!
Yes, me too
Agreed

They soothe my soul and bring a smile to me
And you to them❤
My cats have tunnels,3 different cat trees,wall/climbing boards.. a whole playground..
Remember, cats don't have owners, they have staff.🐯🐆
2 cute and very true!
Cats don’t have staff, they don’t reward us, they just have slaves.
Mine prefer 'Human servant"... but yeah.
❤️😹🐾
The more I learn about cats, the more I love them.❤
I never noticed the whiskers on a cat's paws. That really surprised me. I was also really surprised the first time a cat hissed at me. I had no idea that a cat could make that sound.
I love love cats….love their independent strength.
The world needs more people like you. Thank you for your kindness!
My girl Sofi is the same, she absolutely hates when i hold her in my arms but will sit in my lap all day long.
You are not a catmom you crazy woman. They are a family member.
If you want to be a mom, get some kids you deluded woman.
So cats really rule the earth/ world 😂🤣😆👍🐈⬛
A MOTHER of 6 cats here !! i never really like cats but my son had a cat and when he went to college he left the cat she is 10 yrs old now but in 5/15/24 i was taking my groceries out of my car when i walk in my house there was a cat that was not mine with 2 kittens she was just there in my couch with her kitten i called my son asked him if he got 3 cats he said no i am almost 450 miles away he said .
Doge have masters, cats have staff
lol
I knew a "crazy cat lady" who told me that the idea of cats being aloof was "an evil myth."
@@robadams5799 it’s pretty true though cats are very loving towards their owner I know
I kept the two cats in my life entertained because I knew that they could get into all kinds of things, so I got them toys and different things so that they could climb on also, because I knew that cats love to climb, and I had scratching posts for them.
I’ve tried to let my cat outdoors. She doesn’t want to go lol
sounds a lot like most people within the control pyramid system. once they're programmed to stay there, most won't go out
I adopted my cat from a shelter when she was 8. ❤
You have a special heart. She was waiting for you
Fun fact, house cats share 95% of their DNA with Tigers. So we literally are sharing our homes with miniature Tigers!
My cat always brings mice and birds to my door and i couldn't be more proud of her.
Mice? Cool.
Birds? Time to keep kitty inside and not let it affect nature.
I've always loved cats. they're just such beautiful Majestic graceful independent creatures.
If cats can't taste or enjoy sweets, why do so many of them seem to love ice cream
Some of ours like sweet things too. And cheese, despite most cats being lactose intolerant.
One of me oldests LOVES cookies, sweets, Ice Cream, ect.
She’s 17, avid sweet tooth
Its because they taste the fats in the ice-cream 😊
Mine takes my super sweet biscuits off my plate when I'm having tea every once in a while
I have kept dogs all my life and for the last 8 years av kept cats in fact 5 of them am now a cat man I will never have another dog again it's a goy keeping them I rush home from work to be with them the greeting I get of them is emotional and the bond we have is very very special to me and them big time I keep my cats indòors to keep them safe they have a huge play area in the back garden lots of enrichment for them to play about in they bring so much pleasure to me I couldn't live without them big time
Where I am in the US, most of us keep our cats inside because of coyotes and bobcats, who have killed and eaten peoples pet cats.
Cats are magnificent creatures. We are so lucky they let us take care of them.
No, we are Lucky because God create them and let us Pet them.
Very interesting and informative documentary, thank you! 😺
Glad you enjoyed it!
❤ I wish we all could show a picture of our cats in these comments God bless everyone
I remember watching this documentary a few years ago, thankfully I have found it again
Tail straight up : i am visiting this place, not looking to fight. A place out of the territory
Glad to see some of them with bells on their collars. Beautiful creatures but absolutely lethal hunters of songbirds.
Great special! Learned about orange tabbies on PBS special, where they were revered in Egypt as well. Enjoyed learning more about my micro panther 🐾
The lion in your living room ❤️❤️❤️
@kaylablanton8519 - Our tuxedo cat lived until he was 22 years old.
My Tuxedo cat Felix, was a perfect prince. He passed away in his 18th year. He was a complete joy.
Speaking of cat rivalry over territory, our cat Midnite had kittens and we gave them all away except one, Dusty. Even though they were mother and son, they were also rivals and would often put on literal cat fights, probably over territory.
I help with the TNR. There are so many cats out there without homes. Sprayed and neutered help 🙏🙏🙏
cats are adorable and the sweetest pet i ever had.....
You can take the cat out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the cat.
Yeah. Arnold Schwarzenegger did all those things we see in his movies because that too is, "On film". Smarty pants 😈
Fast forward six years he’s been here for five years and sleeps with my every night and the owners say they are completely fine with it as long as he is happy and safe
So the cat pretty much just said
“I live here now”
Over several years in the past I had 14 cats.
My cats love sweet things and will fight you for butter.
@@kathymc234 yes, that too! If I set butter out to bring to room temp for baking, I must keep covered or they will find it!
Mine doesn't like sweet things but cantaloupe or any melon- loves them! I think it's the water content, it keeps them hydrated.
@@teekolinski491 Mine loved the smell of the cantaloupe- that’s what drew her to it! I thought mine was the only cat who liked it!
Since I can't smell well my cats have saved me from eating Ecoli watermelon chunks so I always rely on their smelling before I eat!
Same here. I have noticed there ability to judge food better than me sometimes.
I have a kitty named Paca. She came with this name when I rescued her. She is a sweetie and I do Love her. She is my girl.
Cats are just so magical❤
fun fact. cats have about twice the reaction speed of snakes. a little cat can take down a cobra
I noticed that! I used to watch a lot of nature videos, and I saw that even fat old housecats could easily take down any snake.
My boy his chattering is exactly when he's anticipating a toy coming his way
My cat purrs directly in my ear when she wants me up to feed her it works snowshoe Siamese.
Came into this thinking it’d be a 15 min video because of course I didn’t check. 25 minutes in and I realise I’m still hooked!!!
i am in love with the cadence the narrator employs in this video
Me, too!
I love this docx series
My white cat is anything but lazy and shy. He's a bloody lightning rod with no sense of boundaries and personal space
There's so much cuteness here...
I love cats so much
My cat is an indoor cat he only goes out on a leash and yes he does enjoy a short walk. We only make it to a neighbors house.
My kitten is following this documentary with great attention!!
Following, liking, etc just cuz you're awesome at providing an entertaining cat video and EXTRA POINTS FOR SHOWING YOUR CAT AT THE END!
I have never heard people say that cats all get along. I've only ever seen one pair of cats that loved each other
All my cats are adopted.
Anyone else saving this to their favorites?
My kitties are very graceful, usually, and are excellent hunters. When I was a kid our family had a tomcat whose kittens were a mix of friendly and scaredy cats. The wild type cats were of Asian body type, although the sire was more like a British short-haired. They were definitely not happy around people, except for the food and warm digs. (I grew up in Alaska.)
I live in Alaska. And love cats
This is by far the most informative cat documentary I've seen, and I've seen a bunch.

Cat TV may help.
I do not understand the comment "Cats do not have a purpose." - Does anything? Why does this statement only refer to cats? Does it rub anyone else the wrong way?
I HATE the disgusting utilitarianism!
Every creatures has its own purpose to exist. To worship God and don't associate God with anything. Sadly human are too ignorant and when they revived in hereafter, they Will start begging God to create earth again so they can worship him but thats too late because its judgement day.

Just kiddin' around.
I think our Father created us, animals, trees - and all kinds of ... well, EVERYthing - for us all to enjoy & appreciate - and to care for each other.
Our purpose of being created is to please YAH. The Bible tells me that. 😊
My girl is more of a purr box than a meow box. Her brother has two voices. A soft meow and when I’m not paying attention enough he yells at me.
:( I want them to stay more wild. Earn their Love and company, keep their independence and self-respect. They make humans better
