    I hit these yesterday (in that exact store I believe!). Gavin at Golf Box had me hit them without looking what they were, hadn't even considered them, and wow! I'm a 16 HCP and thought I had no right even looking at them. Surprisingly easy to hit and forgiving.

    Just tested the P760 against the JPX 919 Forged and Tour and liked the feel of the 760 much better. The Mizuno's felt good of course, but the 760's were incredible. I was actually hoping the Mizuno's would win me over, but it was no question for me, the 760's performed and felt better. I now have a set on order.

    I didn’t read all the comments so forgive me if this questions has been answered. Alex, can you give the specs, shaft, flex, etc when you do your reviews? It would be interesting to see if different shafts produce better results with the same head.

    I didn't like the look of these initially but the more I look at them they are growing on me. It must be incredibly hard as a club designer to create something different but also apelling. Ps great review Alex always on point!

    Hi Alex good video on the 7 iron I just wondered what the spin and distance are like with the 8,9,PW and what the gap was like between 7&8 iron they definitely seem to have great spin control going off your shots. Well done Alex.

    • @alexetchesgolf
      @alexetchesgolf  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was actually impressed, as the gap in non-existent between the 7-8 iron. Thanks mate.

    13 of my 14 clubs are TaylorMade so you could say I am a big fan, I currently use the 2014 MB iron, but I'm getting to the age where I'm thinking I could do with a little bit of help, and these could be the very things! Lol
    Great to see you with another review the day the are first out to the public Alex! 👍

    Never been a Taylormade fan, to many models in to shorter time frame, the back of the club looks ugly to me. Will stick with Mizuno beautiful forged irons. Great video though.

      @Raymond-sj7cn 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      GolfBox Reviews after your review I saw several others, tried them and now I am also tempted😇 I have to go to graphite because it is better for my wrists etc and instead of reshafting my Wilson V6 forged irons I tried several and brought it down to the MP18sc (perhaps MP18 in 8,9 and PW) , Srixon Z785 and the Taylormade P760 all in recoil stiff shafts.
      Copied your players iron test during fitting on trackman with high draw, low draw, high fade, low fade, punch and hit it hard😜🤣👍🏽🏌️

  • @oliverizzard8751
    @oliverizzard8751 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    6:24 completely disagree. The way these are designed and sold I'd expect pure distance out of the 4 and 5 iron (same as any hollow player distance iron) and a smooth transition of distance back down to a traditional distance PW. But the 4 iron distance should be as much as anything on the market with that design.

    • @alexetchesgolf
      @alexetchesgolf  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      oliver izzard you’ve misunderstood, the set doesn’t target the person that wants distance. It’s a better players iron. If you need more distance you’d do p790 because it’s size or you’d go to the M3 or M4. I wouldn’t give this to someone who needs more distance when there’s the M3. Didn’t say it wouldn’t give you more distance!

    Thing they look Feckin Fugly! IMO Compared to the new Mizuno JPX and Srixon Z Irons they look hideous. I don't know how they do it but TM Irons always manage to look Cheap and nasty!
