Thanks! Bottom layer is a dense packing foam, used just to get the height up so the top foam clears the metal. Top layer is ‘motorcycle seat foam’ 1” pretty firm. I ordered a roll a couple of years ago online.

I found an old school Upholsteror near me, he was bugging me for a while to let him do a diamond pattern. I think this one was his best yet. Cheers.
