In the U. S. it isn't called the limited. It's just called the 2023 Forte GT. The GT also comes with a spare tire versus the GT-Line that doesn't in the U.S. For the very little money difference between the two, the GT is far superior and worth it versus the GT-Line which isn't very responsive and is sluggish compared to the GT. The GT's turbo charged engine makes a big difference versus the CVT engine in the GT-Line. The GT-Line is all about appearance. Where, the GT is about appearance (with even sharper features) but also about performance with very minimal gas mileage difference. GT-avg is 30 mpg vs GT-Line-32 mpg. Go with the GT's better engine & avoid the GT-Line's inferior CVT engine. That's what I did after tirelessly researching both and test driving both and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision with the GT. In addition, The LED headlights (with fog), LED turn signals, smart wireless charging pad, smart cruise control, sport tune exhaust, sport tune suspension, rear air vents, FCA fusion-forward collision assist, 18"alloy wheels & upgraded sporty & more comfortable seats & steering wheel are all exclusive to the GT & missing from the GT-line. The best thing to do is to check both of them out thoroughly at a dealership and test drive both of them back to back and the decision will become easily apparent. At least it did for me. The 2023 Kia Forte GT also has the best in class warranty (tied with the 2023 Hyundai Elantra). 5 year, 60,000 roadside assistance.

6:55 something worth noting is the GT Manual from the US came with a spare tire but didn't have rear seat heaters. plus i noticed there were other subtle differences that aren't obvious.

It’s crazy this is all standard in Canada! Here in the US you gotta upgrade to the GT2 package for all these features and dealerships never get those in ☹️

I have a forte5 gt and for some reason theres no ambient lighting on the doors. I cant understand why the cheaper sedan has it but none of the hatches do.
Am considering the Forte GT, does any have an old Veloster Turbo or anything with the 1.6T over 100k miles they can vouch for? Not sure it would make it that long. And yes I know about the warranty but I don't want my car in the shop for 2 months to get a refurbished engine with even less resale value.

The US version of the 2024 GT model doesn't have the heated steering wheel...the 2024 GT trim has so much tech with the drivers aids and other features that I just assumed the heated steering wheel was there with the heated/ cooling seats. I didn't realize til after I bought it that the GT doesn't have the heated steering wheel..I was very disappointed about that...but the car is very nice and loaded with features and includes a temp spare tire..I'm getting 37mpg on the highway with my 2024 GT

That front end of the new Kia Forte is so gorgeous. I own a 2017 Kia Forte ex and now I’m so tempted to trade in my car to the newer model. I just wished that kia will consider putting up AWD on the fortes because these cars are really fun to drive. I’m still have to decide on 3 kia sedans including the k5, stinger and of course the beautiful forte.
LOL you guys are so so funny. I plan on buying one but I want to give it a couple years. I would LOVE if kia had 1) LED rear turn signals. 2) Auto Winsheild Wipers, and dimming too. It’s a must must must for me. The value of this car is KILLER. Especially compared to Honda and others. Love this car to death.

@@maoinc13 if you read my comment correctly it says led REAR turn signals. And automatic windshield wipers are a must for me. I drive a 2023 Mercedes c300 and some features are just a must. I explained how the kia is perfect, for the price, the power is fine, and awd will just boost the price. Realistically with the gt2 or line, I think it should come with rear led signals and automatic wipers.

I got the Gt limited, but it does not have the heated rear sets or steering wheel. Must be on some limited models. But so far it has been a fun car.
Are you located in the US? I believe the Forte models there do not get the heated features. However, it’s available in many of the Canadian trim levels!
@Kia Hyundai Channel yes I'm loc. In the US, my model has the heated/vented front sets, but not the rear or the steering are not heated. I have notes the vented part works but is intermediate I'm works for a lil time then must stop even when the butten is on. Not sure if it's a flo or not. It's the snow white gt limited.
after Driving the car for a lil bit, it is good handling and the power is good. I am curtly trying to dress it up with a few GT Items. I love the inter of the car, and very nice. I would love to see more accessories for the car to really show its GT side. I well be tinting the windows also. I say I wife sides the car is loud when I start it up in the morning. haha

If it has the turbo, then it would be more like the GT Limited. The GT line doesn't have a turbo.

Why only 720P?
Live streams are capped depending on bandwidth, defaults to 720. Dealer would have to upgrade their internet.
Does the 2023 forte have improved sound quality?, my 2020 with apple car play sounds terrible.

is gt limited too noisy?? I like smooth and silent driving, so skeptical to go with gt limited. can someone throw some light?
Personally I don't find it too noisy, However the exhaust definitely produces a bit of a rumble. It's so hard to capture on video. if it's possible for you, i'd recommend seeing if your local dealer has one and test driving.

Litle late answer but I really enjoy the smart mode. Sports mode really is for fun time but I run on smart 95% of the time and it’s perfect

The EV6 GT looks great, but for the price automatic front seats and the fact that majority of interior has plastic paneling seems like a devaluation, I am assuming the heating and air elements provided for front seats was also removed. I certainly hope KIA resolved the water channeling problem with the rear hatchback going into the interior of hatch because this is not implemented with any waterproofing elements to avoid electrical shorts if leaks occur. I see some shortsightedness in this design, which means no additional improvements on the interior have been made in comparison to the 2022 EV6. I understand that the EV6 GT was delayed, but I expected more improvements for the price, not less. For GT I would’ve liked to see some carbon fiber paneling on the interior which would give it more of a sporty look. Besides the engine/battery extension and lack of automatic seats for DRIVER, I do not see this as an IDEAL BARGAIN PRICE for what you get. KIA, just some American advice, IF YOU DECIDE TO GO GT, then there must be more comfort, convenience, with a more sporty interior then just giving racing seats. Perhaps utilize floating/racing seats that allow for more flexibility and comfort for the driver. Perhaps look at the NEW FORD MUSTANG GT and NEW CORVETTE INTERIOR DESIGN and make comparisons and you will see what AMERICANS really want in a GT!! Why not make a SEDAN GT version of this vehicle with a wider body and extended hatchback with more luxuries that equal the Audi A6, with a bigger frunk and more AC charging points especially in the interior rear hatchback. I would also highly recommend FOG lights, many American sports vehicles in USA provide FOG light bulbs on the front in the MUSTANG. If your going GT, then provide Michelin All-Terrain tires because with more power requires even TOP OF THE LINE sport tires. I also recommend placing an additional rear camera on the wing of the hatchback along with providing a rear license plate that provides rear object sensor detection considering that object detection sensors sometimes do not manage to function properly when dirt/snow accumulate on the rear/front bumpers. I would also like to see a panoramic sunroof with a solar panel cover option with a 5G antenna integrated into the solar panel itself, thus eliminating the antenna shark. I hope you make improvements with the REGEN braking system because WIND edition REGEN braking sucks ass. ALSO, if providing sport SEATS, then apply a 4-point buckling system for the front seats. I expect in next EV6 GT to provide an automated rear spoiler that activates AUTOMATICALLY after going over 65-75MPH. This model must have a better, more catchy memorable name, like the Neptune GT or Jupiter GT, or perhaps one of the Jupiter moons like Europa or IO, for example.

I would gladly drive to Canada and trade my current Forte in for a new one if she came with it lol. Yeah I know it's cheesy, but seriously... These need a manual transmission option. Mine has a 6-speed manual and I would hate to go back to a crappy automatic, dual clutch, CVT, or whatever they're calling these wimpy transmissions. That goes for Honda, Toyota, and all of the rest. In the US, you'll be lucky to find 50 manual Kia Forte's in the entire nation. Don't tell me there's not a market for them. #manuallife
