Great vid buddy, thanks fr sharing the experience, i'm off there soon so it was good to see, i spend a lot of time in Scotland but Mull is one island i never seem to get to 🙄.... have a new Subscriber... JP
I loved Scotland and that place. I stayed at Portree for a week and I'll never forget those wonderful places. Unfortunately I didn't see the sea eagles, but only the puffins at Lunga island. I hope to go there again really soon.
Subscribed a trip I have yet to go on so great to see thanks for sharing ! They look hard to miss but the boat does move I suppose ! The 100-400 would do I suppose ?
Great video, Ian! I have a trip to Mull & Skye booked for this year and cannot wait! It'll be my first time visiting so very much looking forward to it! Is there a need for a longer lens with species such as otters? I have a 100-400ii which I can see you've already commented would be sufficient for the WTE on the boat trip, but wondering if a 600mm would be needed too? (Sigma zoom, not the Canon prime unfortunately!)
Fixed. Thank you for letting me know. The Sea eagle card and prints will be on the site soon if you want to have a look. You can also see the card at www.ianhaywildlife.co.uk/greetings-cards. Rare that a plan works quite so well. Ian
Thats the best footage i have ever seen of a wte Ian, thanks for the video, Mick.
Came here from FB and glad I did.
Glad you enjoyed it. Please feel free to (or just please) share.
I’m on Mull right now and I’ve seen golden eagles and so many other birds. Mull is magical …
Very lucky, we go on Friday for the second time this year but we struggle to find goldies
Such majestic bird! following the channel!

Great thanks, wonderful place. My next two vlogs are a bit more landscape but the one that I uploaded today is a bit special, well I think so. Ian

Thanks. Hope you have a wonderful trip. 600mm would be ideal. I used a 300 2.8 with a times two converter for most photos. Ian
@@IanHayWildLife appreciate your response, Ian, thanks 👍
Highland cairngorms wildlife park fucking brilliant worth watching
👌👌👌👌
Thanks, glad you liked it. Please share.
100 400 would be ideal. I used my 300 2.8 which gave faster focussing but harder to keep the bird in the frame. Hope you enjoy the trip. Ian
Esty link not working sep.13

Very nice video of the eagles, what camera & lens were you using on the boat?
Canon R6 with a wonderful but now old 300 2.8 L IS. Ian
