I cook with Marmite all the time. It has a lot of umami and can help with a recipe that you want to have a kind of beefy or just heartier flavor, but doesn't taste just like beef. It's made from yeast, so it does have that fermented/miso kind of quality.
Lol planting wheat . That was funny. Hello from US. Make “ Besan Cheela”. Those are chickpea flour pancakes with veggies in it like grated carrots, chopped onions , veggies of your choice , garlic, salt , any seasoning you want.

Your vid’s are fabulous, and we’re already experimenting w some of your recipes/tips/techniques - BRAVO on all your content!! (only humorous point is, despite being very active, vibrant older gen, we do find we have to dial down the playback speed as it’s pretty quick to listen to - you young whippersnappers you). Keep up the awesome sharing❤
I love your way of cooking/eating & have followed you for years. Sadly where I live no one eats this way & I cannot buy anything even remotely WFPB so have to make 100% of my food. That makes life hard. Need you for inspiration 👍👍👍
What to make? Non lectin vegetables and nuts creations. Dr Gundry type (No cell damage ingredients) also low glycemic. Fermentation and pressure cooking to break down lectins in night shades peppers legumes etc .

My dad was a construction electrician his whole life - helped build and then tear down the steel mills that once were a backbone of US industry (we lived near Lackawanna, NY); having that knowledge comes in handy through life as finding an electrician now to do work in the home is difficult in many places. Yes, to vertical sided saute pans vs the skillets with the more rounded sides; I use my stainless steel and cast iron saute pans to make so much stuff and the higher sides keep ingredients in the pan and not spilling out.

Well if Derek could have seen me making my burrito, ingredients were all good, had the liquid smoke, onions, pepper, carrot, kale spinach, hot peppers, nutritional yeast, little salsa. The trick was in the wrapping technique, thinking I over stuffed the ends open up and everything went to hell in a hand basket. In the end it tasted awesome, looks well that’s another story. Kudos to Derek you had it going on. 👏👏👏
As an Aussie, I highly recommend never eating Vegemite on its own. Hot toast, lots of vegan butter and spread it thinly over the top. Perfect. Its very salty so you don't need much. Also, they did bring out a gluten free version, I didn't really like it though.
