Maybe Arle could have some Tetrominoes.
      Arle Moveset
      *A Attacks/Grab:
Arle uses a variety of attacks with Puyos. They are pretty good for combos and appear in red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and garbage.
      *Side Special: Chain Spell
Arle casts a spell. The spell used will depend on how many Puyo moves you’ve landed, and it resets each time you use Judgement. Keep in mind you won’t be able to use a spell when you have 0-7 hits, and you can only use each spell once until it circles back to that spell. Using the same moves multiple times in a row will only count as one hit. Don’t worry, there will be a screen display showing how much hits needed. The spells include:
8: Fireball: Releases a couple fireballs at opponents with long range but not too much damage. Good for keeping opponents away.
12: Ice Storm: Releases a snowflake with decent damage and range. It freezes opponents.
18: Mind Blast: Releases a Mind Wave. It’s a slow move but it has long range and stuns even if the opponent is shielding.
24: Judgement: Releases stars that surround Arle mixed with Heaven Ray. No status effects but very powerful.
      *Down Special: Diacute
Similar to Incineroar and Bayonetta’s, Arle counters but with a completely different result that makes it unique. Arle knockbacks opponents a little and does no damage, but also fills up some of the moves needed for her next spell. It appears as a magic star circle, and can be used with projectiles.
      *Up Special: Carbuncle Warp Lazer
Carbuncle shoots a lazer at Arle that makes her disappear, and then shoots another lazer that warps her wherever you aim.
      *Neutral Special: Tetris
Arle drops Tetrominos from above the screen, and they play like traditional Tetris. Side arrows to move them sideways, down arrow to drop them faster, up arrow to drop them instantly, A to turn them around, and L/R to hold them. You can move them across the screen to drop them on opponents (this will be better for ledge guarding and keeping away because it does little damage) or perform a Tetris. In order to perform a Tetris, you’ll need to make a 4x4 and the 4 rows will clear across the entire screen with good damage. You can keep adding blocks until you hold ZL/ZR, use a Tetris, or get attacked. Each of these lead to all them disappearing. Since your opponent can easily hit you to cancel everything and you can’t shield in Tetris mode, this means you’ll need to do some strategizing. You can stack some blocks to shield, drop them individually on opponents, potentially build an empire, and whatever ideas come to your mind. If 2 characters are using Tetris at the same time (Arle, Kirby, and maybe Villager and Isabelle) you can stack the blocks on top of each other and use the opponent’s to form a Tetris. You can also drop one above Arle, but she will jump on top of it because it would be broken if you can entirely shield yourself. There will also be a stack limit like in Tetris, where all your blocks disappear if you stack to a certain amount of units. This is so it’s not broken and your opponents can actually be able to come to you. It’s best to use this move when the other player has some damage done to them, because it has good knockback.
      *Kirby Hat
Kirby wears a Puyo hat of one of the 6 Puyo colors, including garbage as a rare one. His Tetris blocks would be the Star Block Steps from his series.
      *Final Smash: Bayoen
Arle releases an large, elegant wave of flowers around her.

      Potential arguments against this moveset:
*Side B: Isn’t that just a cheap way of storing entirely different moves into one? Hero already did that, and it has way less spells so it’s just a downgrade.
Response A: Actually it’s more similar to PuyoPuyo than having them as individual specials. In the games, popping Puyos will lead to spells and popping more will give you a different one. Having different directions as different spells would be very unoriginal (too similar to Ness and Lucas’s), inaccurate to the source material, and it’d be weird having to have enough hits for each individual special. Also this move can rely on Counter, so it really takes up 2 specials.
Response B: It’s completely different from Hero’s spell list. The difference is Arle’s spells are stronger but harder to get, not just RNG so more organized and competitively useful, needs a chain (obviously), different Special direction, and the spells are all entirely different. Hero has more variety, but that’s not everything. Also his spells take up all his Specials, unlike Arle.
*Down B: That’s not exactly how Diacute works in PuyoPuyo, it’s an attack booster...
Response: It not exactly the same, but it’s similar enough. Some things just need to be changed a little to fit in Smash. In this scenario, it’s a mix between PuyoPuyo’s Counters and Diacute.
*Up B: This doesn’t exist in PuyoPuyo...
Response: Well Carby does shoot lasers from his forehead, so a Smash original one that warps Arle would be pretty neat. The Up Special kinda has to be made up because there isn’t anything from PuyoPuyo that actually works aside from jumping on a Puyo, and that would be SUPER lame.
*Neutral B: Tetris blocks are only relevant to Arle with one crossover, and why would she use them the exact way from their game and not Puyos?
Response A: That crossover was a pretty big deal that introduced many fans and is still relevant. Since Pac-Man is a celebration of Namco/arcade games with Galaga elements, I think it’d be fair to have Arle as a celebration of puzzle games with Tetris blocks considering she actually uses them. It’s moveset potential that makes her very unique, so we shouldn’t sleep on it. Think about it, do you REALLY want her to be a Lucas/Ness clone vs. one of the most original characters in the game when she actually has access to this power??? I think not! It’s only a single special anyways, so it’s not that big of a deal. Tetris is extremely iconic and huge that it deserves so much more than a few spirits and probably even a stage. You could make the argument that it’d only represented by one special, but the move basically just lets you play Tetris with many properties and options! Smash Bros. is the game of crossovers after all!The Tetris company is very easygoing with their rights as well.
Response B: Tetris actually did the dropping from above first, which is what inspired PuyoPuyo. Also, the Puyos already have the rest of the moveset, and Tetris should do something that the Puyos don’t do. Simply slamming the opponents with Tetrominoes would be really uninteresting, while aesthetically throwing and popping Puyos would be more stylish than seeing them drop in the sky. Finally, Puyos instead of Tetrominoes dropping would be way too complex, because as you may know the PuyoPuyo system is way more complicated than it seems, making it so much harder to translate than Tetris.
*Final Smash: Why is Bayoen separate from the other spells? In PuyoPuyo it’s Arle’s 5th one.
Response: Because it’s her most powerful move which is what Final Smashes are intended to be. Considering that this move is really different from her other spells since she’ll keep reusing it once you get to it, I think it makes some sense to have it separate. Also having 5 chain spells might get a little complicated.

Artwork and lore wise? Absolutely. Gameplay though? Eeeehhh. It's probably the most sluggish Puyo game in the series. And multiplayer is straight up just not very fun. And while the special attacks seem neat at first, it ends up just being RUIPANKO Spam.
