True, 90% of players can't even go through that door with the grapple. And the fact that he ungrappled perfectly to boop the lucio off the map is just proof that he's gm. You can also look most people also voted masters/gm, cause if you know anything about ball is that, that is exactly how you play him.

It takes a lot of skills to play ball, not surprised about the gm ball. The amount of techs you can do as ball is insane

I’m surprised Jay didn’t recognize how much tech was used in that clip. Anytime a ball purposely stops momentum with grapple like to get multiple boops is a dead give away for masters+

I got the mommyballs62 zen one right - the reason I thought it was masters was because he was saying "I shoulda backed up I shoulda backed up" so his team must have soft disengaged and he's like "I should have joined them now I'm going to die because I didn't". Then he starts yelling when he gets 2 kills because he expected to just die right away, but the Orisa doesn't even look at him for some reason. Anyways thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Honestly ppl who are saying inflation are pretty toxic like if someone actually work up to a higher rank and do bad in a single game ppl immediately think inflated player. You could guess that ball was gm mainly because he knew the slam tech with the edge of the map. I’ve never even seen a Diamond ball try shit like that let alone do it that easily

I think the only people who don't use that tech are people that just play ball when they need to get to the point fast, I only play ball and have been doing this tech since silver, I'm diamond now
While he did have good grapple control, the edge slam is honestly a bronze tech. Im actually surprised people call it a tech it, feels like a basic part of his kit.

Man is honestly having a completely different day on that last clip and I definitely understand the hatred towards having to master a character like Wrecking Ball but I would love to cj3 try to attempt to pull off that same move on the same map and not fall off the fact that ball got to the edge twice and just didn't fall because of how good they are with the mechanics of the character I would have said top 500 but I think homeboy is letting his hatred 4 movement-based damage Blindside him

I think the currrnt rank system is based too much on winning and losing a match. The game doesn't take a person's actual performance into account. I believe a better system is to disregard winning and losing and focus strictly on a player's performance. For example, for a hero like Ana, if you are in Bronze 5 and you lose a game, instead of keep this player in Bronze 5, the game should analyze how much dmg, heals and kills the player has done throughout. If this player's performance is better than 50% of Brozne 5 Ana in a losing game, this player should still rank up. But the same applies to winning. Even if your team wins a game, but your dmg, heals and kills are significantly below average, meaning you were carried to victory, the system should rank you down. So that the only way to rank up is to constantly beatin the average.
I don’t think you should ever go down when you win or go up when you lose, but taking your performance into account with the amount gained/lost I think would be cool

Sombra does not counter ball anymore, Zen is the bigger counter now
@@berzerkerdaemon8375 All ball players would disagree. Zen is a 50 50 matchup, if you have the opportunity to 1v1 him then he's easily diveable/killable while sombra can just hack you in front of everyone and you'd get melted

Mei however, Sym, Reaper and Zen though are great.
@@Softpaw1996 Sombra is his biggest counter by far. When she hacks him, he loses his ball form and loose all his speed.
@@misterrosen3237 for a very short while. And it requires a Sombra to be in the perfect spot to have any meaningful impact.
Whereas Sym Mei and Reaper doens't need a specific situation.
Mei can just wall up instantly, Sym turrets slow Ham, And Reaper is high damage up close.
Sombra outside her hack isn't doing much. Unless your entire team is there to capitalize on the hack.

they may be high rank, but they're playing against bronze positioning. Why would the entire enemy team stand out in the open as Cass is ulting. Also the entire team standing together when they play versus a Reaper who has good stats. No awareness whatsoever.

I agree with you jay. At some point this game took a massive turn and we started getting ability spam heroes like ball with get high value without needing any form of aim. Characters like ball should not exist. The character is hyper mobile, can reach anywhere, has too much hp and gets maximum value from just rolling around and slamming all the time.
okay, i agree that ball shouldn't exist but saying ability 'spam' heroes should be removed means removing 30% of characters
@@pandolam4513 What's your point? Those 30% of characters should go. They've never been healthy for the game. Look at Brigette on release. She literally killed a game at it's peak.
@@janalan6167 It is impossible not to get value with ball. Even if I lose the game, there is no way not to get value. You literally roll around doing free damage. "getting value" does not automatically mean you'll win.
@@janalan6167 Your presence alone disrupts and displaces the enemy. If all you do is roll and slam the enemy, they will constantly waste time on you, therefore you do your primary job as a tank of taking agro/making space. This then leaves your DPS with room to pop off. Hence, you just got value.
